As Ezekiel lay on the ground struggling to breathe from the pain he was in he saw the queen facing the horde on her own.

He tried to say something to Leya about the queen being alone but without even breathing properly he had no hope of speaking.

His worries were pointless.

With a wave of her hand a cloud of black appeared in front of her.

As the mana appeared he also noticed that a large dome had appeared covering the entire city once the creatures got close enough, what shocked him was that the barrier did not appear to keep them out.

It had appeared behind them.

This barrier was to keep them from escaping.

The moment they entered the cloud it was like the city was assaulted by the screams of the dead because the cries made by these things he could not clearly see yet were so unnaturally that it made the hair on his skin rise.

While the creatures were inside of the cloud she began to create spears of shadow, not the vague shapes that the spell had created but actual spears.

And there were thousands of them.

She unleashed her spell on the enemy and as each spear penetrated a creature it burst into a flash of black fire causing the enemy to scream even louder.

As each monster died he thought he could hear something behind the shrieking of the attackers.

As he got through his process he could finally pick out what it was, the queen was laughing.

He watched her destroy waves of creatures with simple motions, her form was beautiful in the sky as if a dancer were performing above the city.

The magical prowess was plain to see as she ended the threat as if it were a game, she even laughed as the creatures fell to her spells.

As the creatures were slain another tear in the sky began to appear, and this one was at least twice the size of the other.

From this rift a creature emerged, it looked like a warped dragon with mishapen wings and no head, it's body was so slim it resembled a mummified lizard but the scales made it look like a horrible monstrosity.

As the creature appeared she flew higher and began to chant.

A great spell circle appeared above her and the sky began to darken, the spell circle vanished before reappearing above the monster.

From this spell circle a powerful beam of black energy pierced through, then another beam, and another, many many more beams began to spear the creature.

There was no visible mouth and the creature made no noise but it seemed to have some psionic power as it caused everyone to flinch from a wave of pain as the beast spasmed.

As the creature was torn asunder by the beams it began to burn away, it did not stop causing waves of pain until it suddenly disintegrates.

"Ahh what a delightful beast, gaining such a high intelligence stat from consuming it. Even before you have fulfilled your duties, you are providing for me."

She began to descend but then the sky fluctuated once again, another rift appeated and from it a giant claw gripped the sky.

Then another claw gripped it, and another claw and more and more before they finally saw ten different hands gripping the air.

A single creature began to pull itself out of the rift and for the first time a look of concern crossed the queens face, he decided that now was the right time to check the system for what this creature was as he had been to distracted before.

He usually liked to avoid looking at what the system said about NPCs but he had to know.

He used the system to check the queen.

'Good lord what have I gotten myself in.'

He chose now to begin streaming, he wanted a record of this event.

The nightmarish astral titan was now fully in their world floating far above everything, it was so monstrously large that even with how far away it seemed to be right there by the city.

He suspected a single swipe of the creature's hand could destroy the entire city.

It seemed the queen was just as concerned because she activated the signature ability of the archdevils, mana burn.

Her body was coated in black fire so intense that the dress she wore was turned to ash, if the fire had not been present she would have been fully exposed to the world but he did not care about the sight of such a beautiful woman.

He was watching the sky as she began to summon the same spell as before but this one seemed to be even stronger as it took many layers of spell circles.

Through his mana sense he could see that the mana in the air was being forcefully pulled away from everything towards those spells, the mana passing through each circle became denser and more potent.

Then the spell was unleashed.

Beams converged upon the titan and began to strike the head from the distance they were cast.

Those giant spell circles were only enough to harm the head but he assumed it would be enough if she targeted it there intentionally.

Looking at the queen he finally began to panic.

She had a look of fear on her face.

Genuine fear.

When the spell ended the titan was untouched and it even began to laugh with a horrific voice that made a wave of dread fall upon his heart.

He was about to log out when he saw a new notification.

'WHAT?!'

He felt power like never before entering his body, power that made his blood boil.

From the sky a new rift began to tear open.

Unlike the slow and methodical pace of the rifts that the astral beasts came from this rift was instant and caused a whiplash of mana to tremble across the world.

It was like this rift had been forcefully torn open rather than carefully sliced into the space.

From the sky a creature exited, it resembled something he never expected to encounter in his life.

In the past those who believed in scripture often had beings described within that would cause fear because of their incomprehensible appearances.

These were angels that had a particular description according to the oldest scriptures.

This thing made him think of those biblical angels immediately as he saw what looked like millions of feathered wings covering the body of a figure in the fetal position.

It slowly stretched itself to a standing position and raised it's arm, from the arm he saw many limbs like echoes.

And with one wave of it's many hands half of the astral beast was vaporized.

He checked this creature as well to learn what he had just encountered.

It waved it's hand once more and then looked down at then with its empty, featureless face.

The queen had descended during this and immediately threw her burning wings around him.

"Stop analyzing them! None of us care if you do but analyzing something is seen as an act of aggression! Are you trying to get us killed?!"

He looked at her in confusion.

"But... I don't think it will attack me? A skill activated when it appeared that called our races siblings."

She looked at him in confusion before suddenly the aether beast stopped attacking the astral beast.

He tried to see what was going on but all he sensed was strange mana that had surrounded the two.

'Huh?!'

Before he was sent away he saw a figure in a green dress appear in the sky, which with a simple wave of her hand forced both figures back through their rifts.

Inside of the Yggdrasil corporation headquarters people were scrambling.

"What did you do! Gaia! Answer us!"

"Why did those things appear!"

"You just forced the players out! Do you have any idea what will happen now?!"

From the door the leader of the group barged in and immediately entered the glass room.

"GAIA! What is the meaning of this!"

A small figure appeared, a little fairy covered in green light.

"Apologies Mr. White, it seems Gaia is busy how may I assist you?"

He began cursing before he rubbed his face and looked at the little fairy.

"Why did Gaia allow those two creatures to enter the game?"

The fairy paused before answering as if waiting for the right words.

"The war between the creators and the invaders are ongoing, the higher order beings of each side do not recognize the decree of any beyond their own divine creators."

He inhaled sharply as he got ready to yell about it even more.

"Please Mr. White, you must understand that Gaia is a new god that is not respected by all of the old forces, only those of the previous generation acknowledge her standing while those who follow the creators do not."
