Chapter 7: Moegi's Revenge

Konohagakure, Police Station

Kaede and Lisanna, who had just won their fight, walked towards their imprisoned comrades. All of their comrades, unconscious and locked up in their cells. Lisanna, transformed her right arm into a gorilla's arm, smashed the door open of the cell the contained Macao, Wakaba, and Reedus. Kaeda on the other hand used her tentacles to slash the door open of the cell containing her classmates. Just as when they were about to get their comrades, the bodies of their comrades turned into wood, and a voice spoke.

As Moegi closed in on Lisanna and Kaeda, Lisanna pushed herself back up, her eyes blazing with defiance. Without hesitation, she activated her Take Over magic, transforming her body rapidly to keep Moegi on her toes. First, she shifted into her nine-tailed fox form, her body sprouting ethereal tails that whipped toward Moegi with blistering speed, aiming to restrict her movements. Kaeda, already on her feet, took advantage of Lisanna's attack and launched her own, her tentacles lashing out in rapid, powerful strikes.

Moegi twisted and turned, skillfully dodging the flurry of tails and tentacles, her face focused and determined. She managed to evade Lisanna's tails with minimal movement, blocking a few strikes from Kaeda and retaliating with fierce precision. She struck Lisanna across the shoulder with a chakra-enhanced fist, sending her staggering back, only for Lisanna to transform into a gorilla, using her immense strength to absorb the impact and retaliate with a powerful swing. Moegi barely ducked under the attack, but Kaeda quickly followed with a slicing tentacle strike that grazed Moegi's arm.

Moegi: "Impressive. But you're both running on empty."

Lisanna's eyes narrowed as she transformed again, her body twisting into a sleek harpy with sharp talons and wings powerful enough to create gusts. She soared upward, flapping her wings to create a vortex, whipping debris around the cell as Kaeda's tentacles lashed out with renewed ferocity, the two fighters coordinating their moves. Moegi braced herself against the storm of wind and tentacles, focusing her chakra into her legs to ground herself. When Lisanna swooped down with her talons extended, Moegi leapt up, spinning midair to dodge the attack and landed a swift, powerful kick to Lisanna's midsection, sending her crashing to the floor.

Seeing Lisanna down, Kaeda unleashed her full tentacle barrage, each appendage aiming to overwhelm Moegi from every angle. Moegi, her instincts sharpened, blocked and dodged the barrage, weaving through the attack with astonishing speed. She ducked under one of the tentacles, darted to the side of another, and with a flash of her hand, sliced through one with a chakra-infused kunai, sending Kaeda stumbling back in pain.

Lisanna, pulling herself up once again, shifted into her wyvern form in a last-ditch attempt, her body covered in scales and wings that stretched wide. She opened her mouth, breathing out a stream of fire aimed straight at Moegi. Kaeda joined in, thrusting her remaining tentacles at Moegi from all sides to keep her in place.

With no room to dodge, Moegi planted her feet and summoned a massive wall of chakra around herself, absorbing the brunt of the flames. The force of the fire and tentacles wore down her defense, but just as Lisanna's flames started to subside, Moegi dropped her shield and dashed forward, closing the distance in an instant.

In one swift movement, Moegi landed a devastating punch to Lisanna's head, cracking her scales and sending her crashing to the ground. With Lisanna incapacitated, Moegi turned to Kaeda, who swung her remaining tentacles in a final desperate attempt. Moegi dodged one after another, finally countering with a precise strike that shattered Kaeda's defenses and sent her sprawling back.

Moegi: "This is where it ends."

Exhausted and barely conscious, Lisanna and Kaeda struggled to rise, but Moegi was unyielding. She stepped forward, summoning the last reserves of her strength, and struck each of them with a final, powerful blow, sealing their fates.

As the dust settled, Moegi stood alone, battered but victorious, the silence of the prison punctuated only by her steady breathing as she looked down at the bodies of Lisanna and Kaeda.

As Moegi fell to her knees, her vision blurred and the pain of the battle caught up to her. She took out a special scroll etched with intricate seals and activated it, sending out a mental link to Shikamaru through the telepathic connection.

Moegi (through the scroll): "Shikamaru... I've apprehended two infiltrators in the police station. They managed to kill all of the guards, including Tsume. I... need help."

Her voice faltered, carrying the weight of the intense battle and the devastating loss. She could sense Shikamaru's shock through the connection as he processed the grim news.

Shikamaru (telepathic response): "Hold tight, Moegi. Reinforcements are on the way. Stay with me."

But her strength was fading fast. The adrenaline that had carried her through the fight now drained, leaving her barely able to remain conscious. She felt her body slump as she forced out a final, faint message.

Moegi: "I've told you… everything. Hurry…"

Her vision dimmed, and her grip on the scroll slipped as she finally collapsed, her exhausted form lying amid the aftermath of the brutal battle.

As Moegi lay unconscious on the cold prison floor, her final message sent a shockwave through Konoha's ranks. Within minutes, Shikamaru and a team of high-ranking shinobi arrived at the police station. The sight that greeted them was grim: bodies of fallen guards lay scattered across the halls, and the once-secure cells bore the scars of intense battle.

Shikamaru knelt beside Moegi, checking her pulse and sighing in relief. Though barely, she was still alive. He carefully picked her up and passed her to one of the medical ninjas who had arrived with him.

Shikamaru: "Get her to the hospital immediately. She fought to her last breath to protect Konoha."

The medic nodded and swiftly carried Moegi out. Shikamaru's gaze hardened as he looked around, taking in the destruction. Nearby, the bodies of Lisanna and Kaede lay in the aftermath of the brutal fight. Their final expressions were marked with the desperation and fury they'd carried until their last moments, showing just how fierce the struggle had been.

Ino appeared, stepping over the debris with a mix of sadness and anger as she surveyed the scene. "I can't believe they managed to infiltrate this far, Shikamaru," she said softly, her eyes landing on the remains of Tsume and the guards. "Tsume… the Inuzuka Clan will be devastated."

Shikamaru clenched his fists. "It's a tragedy, Ino. They were relentless… but Moegi stopped them from causing even more damage."

As they continued assessing the aftermath, Yashamaru and Maki joined them, their faces serious.

Yashamaru: "The infiltration was coordinated, and their abilities were… strange. Unfamiliar powers. We'll need to reinforce the protective barrier. Konoha's defenses were pushed to their limits today."

Shikamaru nodded grimly. "That's the priority now. We'll start immediately. Every vulnerable point need sealing and strengthening. This attack will have the entire village on edge."

Maki looked at the fallen infiltrators. "They may have failed, but we don't know if others will come after them. We need to prepare for the possibility that this was only the beginning."

Ino placed a hand on Shikamaru's shoulder. "We should inform the clans. The Inuzuka, in particular, have a right to know about Tsume. We owe it to them to explain what happened here."

Shikamaru: "You're right, Ino. And we'll need every clan's support to secure Konoha. I'll notify the Hokage. This is a threat we can't ignore or underestimate."

The team continued coordinating their next moves, sealing off the area and gathering evidence from the battle scene. Outside, the sun began to rise, casting light over the ravaged prison and signaling the end of a long, harrowing night.
