Chapter 19: Chapter 19 Paths
Ichigo took a deep breath. He was done nourishing his artifacts and Asauchi with his spiritual power.
After that He wanted to start practicing the Quincy technique but he couldn't practice a more advanced technique of Quincy inside his room.
Because it would draw the guest's attention to him..
His mother and father told him to go inside his room. That meant they didn't want their guest to notice him or his twin sisters.
So he only had one choice now.
"Meditation it is then."
Ichigo found that meditation helped him control his spiritual power a lot better.
And it also improved his temperament greatly. He would not be swayed or get angry easily.
Ichigo started to go inside his consciousness. It was very hard at first but when he started to get a hang of it. It would become easier.
He found himself inside his mindscape. It was full of nature and buildings that had many vines or even trees on them.
It created a sense of co-existence between modernity and nature.
In this place he felt that he could become himself completely. He thought back to the mirror world.
He couldn't help but shake his head. He couldn't remember anything beyond that and it was already gone.
He thought that he shouldn't think about it anymore as he got all of his emotions back even though he had a hard time understanding it.
It was still better than not having it at all.
As he ventured deep inside his mindscape.
He could hear that someone had called him.
Even though he was inside his consciousness, he used the flower bracelet as a medium so he could still perceive something outside of his consciousness.
And when he got out. He heard that his mother called for him from the outside of his room.
Even though he was just five, his mother respected his privacy. As he wasn't like any normal child.
He matured faster than them.
…
Ichigo went down from the second floor to the dinner room.
He then met with a very beautiful woman. She looked at him with a happy face.
Ichigo instantly knew that she didn't have any bad thoughts toward him and that should be the reason why his mother called him to the dinner room.
She must have thought of introducing him to her.
But to his surprise. His mother didn't introduce him as she had scooped him up and hugged him.
"What a cute little boy! My name is Venelana Gremory. I am your aunt!"
Ichigo was taught about manners so he introduced himself while being pressed by this beautiful woman blossoms.
"I am Kurosaki Ichigo… Nice to meet you Aunt Venelana."
Venelana was impressed by how calm he was when introduced himself.
He acted like a child who was taught about manners.
"Masaki, Did you teach your son about etiquette?"
"No, That's how he usually behaves. He just matured faster than anyone his age."
Masaki didn't want to say that he had a problem with his emotions. So she told her that he matured faster than normal.
Ichigo didn't mind about him being the main topic for them to talk with.
He looked at his father whose existence was ignored completely by the two of them.
He could feel his inner voice as he thought to himself.
'Why am I here to suffer?'
Venelana let him go after she finished hugging him to her heart's content.
She then looked at him deeply.
"So much spiritual power inside, I wonder what would happen if he awakened his devil power too?"
"Venelana, Please don't."
"Why?"
Venelana wanted to protest. This was the first time she saw someone with so much potential. With spiritual power he could walk on Shinigami path, Quincy path, Onmyodo path.
But if his demonic power awakened. He could also walk on the Devil path.
He would become a being that could even rival God and Maou!
Masaki explained to her that in the human world. The devil was the most hated of all races.
And he might be attacked by those from the church and even from the shrine.
The Devil had done many bad things and it wasn't a surprise if they were attacked in the human world.
"That's too bad but even if he didn't walk on the devil path. It should be enough to make him one of the powerhouse in the future."
Venelana smiled and looked at her niece. She then thought about something nice.
