Black Clover: Nah I'd Lose

Chapter 51: 51. Double Shiny?

(If you want a Bonus Chapter or like this fic, then give me power stones, this week's goal is 500 Powerstones, It really helps in growing the fic. If we reach that, then you will get a bonus chapter)

A streak of purple lightning could be seen moving through the woods.

'I wonder what exactly the mission is; the captain directly said that I will come to know when I reach there. I wonder what's going to happen,' Akeru pondered while looking at the map in his hands.

'I should be close.'

Akeru didn't know that he was now going to face one of the butterflies created due to his existence.

Suddenly, Akeru stopped completely.

'This mana—it's no doubt that grand magic-level individuals are clashing, and there are even multiple of them.' Akeru was really baffled that he could sense mana from this long distance.

To a normal sensor, that place was practically oozing with mana, either enticing them to go to that location or warning them to run away from it.

'Bystander's Magic: Silent Nobody.' Akeru's entire presence disappeared from the world.

'Though people could still track me if I use mana, they won't be able to, if I am using only internal mana enhancements, so I could still move at a decent speed.' With that, Akeru started sprinting once again towards the source where he felt this much mana.

It didn't take him too long to reach the location.

Two groups could be seen fighting.

They could be distinguished by the similar kind of clothes they were wearing.

'Woah, this is clearly a conflict between Clover and Diamond Kingdoms. Look at this holy number of knights; they have made this place a battlefield.' Akeru was a bit startled that war was happening here, but he started moving again as he still couldn't see the captain-level individuals having a battle.

The insignia of their respective kingdoms on their uniforms was a clear giveaway to their identity.

Due to the battle happening, Akeru had to lessen the speed at which he was going to avoid getting in contact with any spells or battles occurring.

He could see colossal constructs of various elementals clashing with each other.

A fire lion nearly the size of a building pounced on an emerald-coloured python, devouring it.

People in some parts could be seen moving at speeds beyond the speed of sound, but those were very few compared to the entire battlefield.

Akeru was strolling through that area leisurely without getting any scratches on him.

'These guys really are going all out, with an intention to kill, too,' Akeru thought while looking at the massive lion breaking that emerald python and swiping the enemy knight.

Akeru, on his path, saw an Aqua Deer member hurled on the ground with a fireball hurling towards him quickly.

'Though I don't want to make my presence known yet, I will help people who are coming in my way,' Akeru thought while appearing near the fireball and slightly altering its path by using mana reinforcement on his palm.

'Your survival is up to you; may luck be with you,' Akeru chanted while disappearing from the scene.

He had done that without dispelling his stealth spell, so nobody noticed him.

Fortunately or unfortunately, Akeru didn't get any disturbances on his path when he reached the area where grand magic knight-level individuals were fighting.

Akeru resisted the urge to whistle. 'What do we have here~? Aren't those the captain of Aqua Deer, Rill, and vice-captain of Golden Dawn, Langris? Their opponents are also quite interesting—Ladros and Ragus, one of the members of the New and Old Generation of Eight Shining Generals from the Diamond Kingdom.'

'Still Spectator.' The world slowed down as Akeru analyzed the current battlefield.

Rill could be seen dominating Ladros while the battle between Langris and Ragus would have been more appropriately described as a game of chase, with Ragus barely losing.

Loss in such a game would mean direct death.

'Though Ragus is not a pushover and clearly a Grand Magic Knight-level individual, he is clearly the one weaker here. The gap between senior and grand-level knights is so vast it cannot be crossed, though there are always exceptions.

Langris' spatial magic easily crosses that bridge such that even I am not confident to defeat him. How the fuck did Asta defeat him in the canon? Then again, in front of anti-magic, all magic is the same,' Akeru cursed as he contemplated the absurdity of Langris' magic.

'Either way, I am now feeling conflicted. Did this even happen in the canon? How much impact could I cause here?' Akeru started calculating how this situation would have unfolded and how much he could do while trying not to screw up the canon completely.

---

"You really are not helping me to get an inspiration for my next painting," Rill whined.

He was currently sitting on a snake that was chasing Ladros, both moving at blinding speeds, with the former releasing poison at the latter, making him unable to absorb it.

"You!" A magic bullet was shot at Rill at blinding speeds, but it got swatted away by the snake's unusually long tail.

"Hmm, maybe I could try some ranged attacks or different kinds of bullets," Rill mumbled as he started brainstorming in the midst of battle.

It was the ultimate insult to Ladros, but the latter couldn't do anything as he was already unable to take care of that snake.

The poison prevented him from closing up on the snake to absorb it as magic.

"I will kill you painfully!" Ladros declared as he dodged another smog of poison.

"I think you should be more concerned about how you will escape alive from here," Rill said while making the snake increase its tempo.

---

"Where are you running? I thought you were supposed to be the top brass of Diamond Kingdom. Where's your pride?" Langris taunted his opponent while swiping hands such that claws indicating spatial tear were moving towards Ragus.

"Pride is only for fools. If you want to live, you need to know your limits," Ragus said while dodging the claw and launching the lightning bolt that was loaded in his crossbow.

The bolt hurled towards Langris at blinding speed, but it collided with a spatial barrier, becoming useless.

"It seems that Diamond Kingdom is really weak, as I have heard. No wonder the Clover Kingdom doesn't want to capture it—not only are they significantly weaker in military might, but they also don't have any resources to actually plunder."

Ragus had a twitch mark on his forehead, but he didn't lose his cool as he dodged another swipe.

He was old enough to not only climb towards his current position but also guide a lot of people to reach similar levels.

If he gets annoyed by some taunts of an arrogant fool who hasn't even seen much of the world, then he would clearly have felt disappointment.

"Archangel shootdown."

Multiple spheres of "spatial distortion" were hurled at Ragus, causing him to land on the ground and enhance himself with lightning while sending multiple bolts of ranged attacks at the spheres, hoping to slow them down or overwhelm them with magic.

All those lightning bolts were teleported out of existence, though it was successful in preventing those from reaching Ragus himself.

Ragus, who had the aerial advantage, started hurling dozens of such lightning bolts at Langris at a reduced speed than the previous.

However, this did make Langris go on the defensive and create a "spatial barrier" which prevented the attacks from reaching him.

"I wonder when your pitiful mana reserves will last, as you won't be able to hide in that shell for the rest of your life," Ragus used the same tactic as Langris.

Unlike Ragus, Langris' pride was hurt and it was visible on his face.

Ragus discretely started going near the ground while increasing the number of lightning arrows hitting the defensive barrier around Langris.

'I just need one opening to finish him. Though his magic is formidable, he still is human in the end, just like everyone,' Ragus thought while calculating the best move to take down Langris.

Suddenly, Ragus's eyes widened as he felt high mana fluctuations behind him, followed by something piercing his heart.

He gazed back and saw a younger boy's hands near his heart while mana composed of water and lightning furiously vibrated.
