Every single being on earth looked at the blue screen that hanged in front of them with surprises.

Many people are panicking right now screams are everywhere. I turned to Jake and Alex on the other side don't buy weapons instead go for potions and accessories.

Jake seemed confused until a another blue screen appeared

Just as Jake was going to ask his question. A roar sounded in the school compound followed by loud screams. We look down at the scene that was unfolding below us.

A strange ancient door appeared then opened and behind it roars sounded that sent chills down one's spine.

"Boss what the hell is that"

I turned to Jake and realised he wasn't asking about the dungeon but looking in the sky. I also shifted to look up, only to stare at a huge eye that covered the entire sky. No matter how one looks at it, a feeling of terror engraves itself into our minds.

When John talked about the descent i didn't take it that seriously until now

A smile flashed on my face when i saw my ability being upgraded. It seems our returner doesn't know everything because he didn't mention this. This means both Alex and Jake will also have there abilities strengthened. I grin and said the Status.

Reading the description of my ability smile cowered my face. I already have 2 knight at hand.

John had said the average stats of most people are at 5. One of things that makes the system different from normal games is there is no Hp/life bar.

Another thing the Soul essence, when one kills a monster they gain soul essence instead of Mp like most games.

Looking at the timer i knew i didn't have a lot of time left. I immediately opened the system store

One could tell what each of the following categories are for except [Requests]. When John talked about the system store didn't mention anything useful about the it. But after seeing how he didn't know about how a person's ability upgrades if awoken before the descent. I decided not to take all the things he said completely after all in that future he was a bottom dweller with low strength.

He may know something but not everything that's why i have decided to take a risk with the Request category.

System store is a unique feature that only appears at the beginning and when breaking through Tiers. It has many miraculous items that can't be found anywhere hence wasting system points an useless things is means losing my information advantage.

I was hesitant to pick the requests cause John spoke about many great things in the other categories.

I selected the requests function see that i was wasting a lot of time. The blue screen disappeared and was replaced by a floating orb. In a cold robotic voice it said

'When John spoke of the system he made it seem more of a God than a machine, so the request i want'

I was stunned, to think it was possible to become a God with just a bunch of points

I asked different requests and understood the systems bottom line.

For example if i ask for weapon it will say

One can't ask for an item for another category plus there are request that go against the rules of the trial period like asking for a direct increase in starts.

But there were request that went through

"I would like to bring Alex and Jake here"

I selected yes cause having Alex and Jake here would allow me to perform my experiment

Both Alex and Jake appeared in front of me confused about what's going on. Alex asked 

"Damien what's happening"

"Relax i used my points to call you here"

"To that was possible"

"It only works in the request category, which one did you choose"

Jake spoke first

"Weapons"

"Utilities"

Seeing they had chosen different categories i said 

"Jake you will buy for us weapons with your points, get me a spear, daggers for Alex and a sword for yourself"

"But boss there are guns here"

I remember John cursing when he spoke about the weapon section having guns. They are a trap, after the descent all technology without mana stopped working.

The guns in the weapon section are mana enchanted and the same goes for the bullets. It might seem great at first but once the bullets run out it becomes useless.

"Just do us i say don't buy the guns"

I could still some hesitation in Jake's eyes, so i added

"Don't worry if am right then most people will buy guns so we can easily get some from them"

Jake nodded and did as i said, so i turned to Alex and asked 

"Did you do as i told you"

"Yeah i got the potions you asked for"

Before we were brought here i asked Alex to pick the utility category. In this category there are three cheap items we need.

Seeing a beautiful silver ring on Alex's in hand, a grin developed on my face

In front of Jake three weapons materialised 

"Boss here they are"

"Good now i can proceed with what i wanted"

I turned back to the floating orb.

After testing the limits of the requests that can be made i came up with this

"I would like to combine the knight's mark in my ability to create only two"

Hearing the number of points needed made my heart bleed cause i know there are every many uses for them.

Jake and Alex immediately realised Damien was sacrificing his points for them

"Damien you don't have to do this, our abilities have been upgraded so we don't need anymore"

"Boss, yeah we are already great as it is now. We can survive this"

"Enough"

Silence 

"Jake do you think i just want to survive, no i want to thrive no i want to rule this fallen world."

"Alex am a little disappointed in you, did this small strength already go to your head." 

"There is no such thing as strong enough, always want more"

I tapped yes. Unlike John who doesn't have loyal people around him due to his loner mentality, have two people who shall become the pillars to my rise.

The boost has changes from 50% to doubling the start and the condition has changed as well from a vow of loyalty to an eternal vow.

I activated my ability on them but this time no golden glow covered them instead a blue screen appeared

Jake seeing the warning frowned and said out

"Doesn't this mean we have to follow your orders unconditionally"

I didn't say anything instead Alex spoke

"Jake don't overthink this, you have always followed Damien's orders back then so what makes this any different"

Jake wanted to say something but a golden light brighter than before caused Alex to causing him to shield his eyes.

When the light dispersed Alex stood there in a unique armour that was made out of sharp Fragmented pieces of armour. A loud laughter burst out of it

"hahahahahaha To think this thing doubles all my stats"

All the hesitation disappeared after hearing that.

Another golden light covered Jake.

This time when the light dispersed. Jake appeared in a different type of armour.

It looks normal but on the back, six whip like appendages hanged with blades at their ends. Jake said from within

"Amazing it adjusted itself to my ability"
