Chapter 29: Chapter 26: Awaken
"Will." Edge voice ringed in the void of darkness. "Wake up!"
Will's vision opened as he gazed through the glass at the dark lab while his heart beating filled his ears. The green light where he stood was the only light source.
He moved his body only for it to jolt. The boy noticed needles within him while he floated in the small body of water.
"Ok." A voice said under his breath before a man stood in front of the pod on his clipboard. "Subject: 50, Is under heavy sedation even after some procedures." The whispers inside Will's head grew loud. "His course of action." He looked, seeing the boy's purple glowing eye staring down at him. "Ha!" The scientist staggered back.
'Release me.' Will thought as the scientist's lips shook.
"N-no." His breath shook before he raced across the room. At the corner of the pod, the boy noticed him, running to a button on a wall. "AAAH!!!" The man falls onto his back, screaming before crawling away from no one. "P-please!" He begged while the boy's eye blinked.
No one became a suited towering man with long arms and no face towering over the scientist like a statue.
"W-what do you want?!" The man cried before balling up on the ground. "PLEASE!!!"
'Release me.' Will thought again as the scientist peeks at his illusion and the boy.
The man climbed to his feet before pulling a key from his formal shirt. He does something on a panel beside the pod taking quick glances at his illusion before pulling the lever.
The pod green light turns red as the huzzing of the pod door opens while a waterfall of water gushes onto the black matted floor.
The boy leans on the pod, ripping the needles and tube out of him before crashing to the floor. He sat on his hand and knee before vomiting.
Will staggered onto his butt, noticing his missing arm and leg.
His eye remained glued to his missing limbs.
"HELP!!" The scientist's shoes stomp past the boy.
Will's dazed vision gazed at the man heading for the button, knocking over a metal cart. The boy's vision became a sickly purple as the suit towering man appeared in front of the scientist, grasping his throat.
In reality, the scientist was choking himself.
"Please!" The scientist gasps. "I'm sorry."
The boy clenches his teeth while the man grasping made his eyes quiver.
"RAA!!!" Will roared as the suited towering man clutched harder.
"Fa.Ther." The man grasped out before snapping his neck. He falls to the ground staring lifelessly at the boy.
Will pants as he gazed at a metal cart that the scientist knocked over. The boy looks at his reflection, noticing dead veins on his face, and his left eye is gone.
'Boy.' Edge called while Will's eye never left his reflection. 'Will!'
"Y-yeah?" He stutters.
'Listen. Do you see that chair?.' The boy looks around before seeing a rolling chair in front of him. 'Sit on it.' The boy falls onto his face with a grunt. He crawled with effort before making it to the base of the legs.
"Edge!" The boy cried.
'Do it.' Edge said; softly while Will planted his chest on the chair. He pulled himself up only for the chair to roll out from underneath him. The boy crashed onto the floor, whimpering. 'Try again.'
"I can't!" Will cried as his tears hit the floor.
'I escaped. And I know you can too.' The boy sobbed. 'They are coming for you. I need you to be strong.'
"Please." He whimpered. "I. Can't."
"Come on." Novis's voice got the boy's attention. The phantom version of Novis kneels beside the chair across the room. "Come to me." He beckons while Highroller appears nearly reach the ceiling.
'Come on. Boy!' A voice in his boy's head cheered.
'You're stronger than this!' Another stated as Will's crying eye stared at the floor.
'You were chosen for a reason.' The boy's red eye stared at the chair.
"RAA!" He shouts before slapping his hand onto the floor.
He pulled himself.
'They are coming for you.' The boy clenched his teeth while his tears continued to pour.
'You have potential. You just don't know it.'
'Come on! Kid!'
'You can do it, Darling!'
The boy planted his forehead against the floor, sweating.
'MOVE IT!!'
'LEMME TELL YA SOMETHING!!! Floor Boy! You're not this pathetic! And me saying this is you telling ya something!!'
'FASTA!!'
The boy continued crawling now in the center of the room.
Before you know it, thousands of voices begin cheering him on.
'Let's go! Will! Let's go!'
'KE! KE! KE!'
'You're almost there! Kid!' Highroller cheered as Will slammed his hand on the chair. Novis and HighRoller watch as the boy stands on his wobbly leg before maneuvering his butt onto the chair.
The voices cried out as Will gazed up at the ceiling while his chest rose and fell.
'Floor Boy! More like Glow boy of the Century!' The cheering slowly ceased to exist.
'Alright.' Edge started. 'There's no time to rest.' Will wraps the sweat from his face. 'See that cam recorder?' The boy eyed the cam recorder sitting on the stand. Where he came. 'Grab that stand.'
The boy rolled to it, grabbing the cam recorder.
"W-what about this?" Will questioned.
'Leave it.' The boy followed his order. 'What I'm gonna ask you is a little extreme in your case.' The boy squinted his eye. 'That scientist.' The boy gazed at the body. 'Smash his skull.'
"Y-you can't be serious!"
'I'm dead serious.'
"This is crazy!" The boy said to himself, looking at the weapon before he jumped. "V-Virgo!" He called, but no answer. "Virgo!"
'He's not gonna help.'
"Virgo!"
'WILL!!' Edge gave an animalistic roar in the boy's head, causing him to shut up. 'You're dying! If you rolled out that door their a higher risk! Of you being caught! And if you wait here, anyone could be coming through that door!'
"C-come on." The boy's breath shook. "There has to be some other way." Edge remained silent. "EDGE!"
The boy sat in the quiet, dark room in silence. He turned to the body with his breath shaking. He slowly rolls over to him before staring down at the corpse staring back at him with his lifeless eyes.
"Edge?" The boy called as his lips shook. Edge doesn't answer. "Please." He closes his teary eye before closing the scientist's eyes until the Boy lunges at the scientist's pockets only to turn out with nothing. "FUCK!!" He leans back on his chair, closing his eye.
---
Dark scene!! INCOMING!!
---
Will slowly picked up his weapon. He growled to himself before reeling the camera stand above his head. He closes his eye. Seeing darkness.
"Hm!" He hears its skull crack while warm liquid splashes onto his face. He yelped before doing it again. This time the cracks grew louder before hitting something mushy. Liquid splashes on his face causing him to whimper. He does it again.
He clutches his lips before going all out. The cracking filled the room before mush replaced it.
"Ha!" He felt the liquid rush down his face. "Ugh! HAA!!" His weapon hits the solid ground, nearly jolting out his hand.
Will stops, slowly opening his eye.
The corpse lay dormant while his brain was scattered on the floor. The Researcher's eye looked up at him.
His hand shook before dropping the bloody camera stand.
'You did well.' Edge stated while Will turned his head, covering his mouth. 'Here comes the hard part.' He looks back at the corpse with his breath shaking.
His shaky hand picks up the matter, gagging. He tosses it in his mouth before his eyes: shared with Edge's reflected ones.
The boy rocket from the chair, devouring every matter he can find. As he does, this grey-blue ink glitches from the boy's skin, slowly growing back his missing limbs.
Will moaned as his missing eye grew back to his brown eyes, only for it to be taken by Virgo once again.
The grey-blue ink finally took the boy whole, revealing Slim Edge. The symbiote stopped hanging over the corpse as his tongue slithered from his jagged teeth, releasing an unpleasant amount of green saliva.
Edge draws his nails back, aiming for the chest, only for his arm to come, to halt quivering.
----
Dark Disengaged!
----
"Um!" Edge grunt. Clenching his jagged teeth before dropping his arm. He stared at the pool of blood before grabbing the Scientist Id. He stood to his feet.
Edge walked to the exit door shifting back to Will.
The boy looked over his shoulder, only for his head to snap back at the door.
'Go.' Edge ordered. 'Let's not waste time.' He slides the ID on the reader, opening the door and inviting a bright light into his eyes.
He exited the lab entering a bright white hall.
"Um?" A voice made Will instantly turn invisible with Zero.
"Is something wrong, brother?" Another stated while Zero gazed at the Forever Knights guards standing down at the end of the hall.
"Stand with me, brother." The guards pulled the handle of their energy blades before igniting it. Approaching Zero, letting them pass, he noticed the black ribbons on their shoulder plates.
They headed for the door Zero came from, and Zero phase through the Knight further from the leading Knight, casing him in ice.
The leading Knight snapped back at the crackling ice.
"By the-," He said before becoming encased in ice.
Zero appeared once more before grabbing their weapons. Zero pushed the two into the dark lab before returning to the hall.
'Alright. Let's Jet!' A voice said within Zero head.
'No.' Zero thought, clenching his fist. 'We're ending this.'
'I'm with you.' Edge voiced.
'Something I can finally agree on.' Another voice whispered.
'Fine.' The voice groans. 'How were doing it?'
'Loud! How I like it!'
'I say. We gather information.' The voice continued. 'This will lower the probability of avoiding confusion. As well as understanding the root of the foundation.'
'What?!'
'As your intelligence doesn't match my superior intellect. To dumb it down. We're gathering information.'
'LEMME TELL YA SOMETHING!'
"Scouting it is." Zero frowned his non-existing brows before flying into the wall.
He entered another dark lab seeing an empty pod. Zero continued.
Phasing from another wall, he appeared in another white hall.
Loud clanking causes his head to snap to the scientists at vending machines.
"How come we do things like this?" The scientist in glasses picks out a soda can.
"You're questioning our commanding officer?" The other questioned while the scientist in glasses sips from his drink.
"Am I not?" He sips once again. "I found subject eight, and then they threw me away. In two years, I found subject 36, and I mind you. It nearly took my head off." They paced from the machine while Zero kept a distance and noticed the blue ribbon on their shoulder. "He promised me recognition. Yet a nobody is taking what's rightfully my."
"And you'll get it. You must be patient."
'Hold. A map.' Edge stated while Zero came to a halt.
He gazed about landing at the elevator; beside the closed doors is what Edge promised. Zero approached it, squinting his eyes.
'There's two-levels underground.' Zero thought to himself. 'It seems we're in Research 2.'
'We can't be here long. Choose wisely.' Zero looked back at the map.
'I need my gear or more like Mar Prowess.' He looks to the ceiling. 'And I think Research 1 might have it.' Zero opened his wings before taking off.
The darkness welcomes him while Zero remains calm. It felt like forever.
'How did you escape?' Zero thought. 'Back with the Saturdays. I felt different. I felt scared.'
'You have yet to unlock that.' Edge said. Plainly while Zero remained quiet. 'You will get out. I put my life on it.'
A bright light welcomed them as Zero settled on his feet. He noticed a Scientist inches away from running into him.
Zero slides to the side, holding his breath. The scientist entered the elevator with the use of his ID.
The doors close while the Frost phantom breathes a sigh of relief.
He walked from the elevator, noticing a three-way hall ending with white doors. The Frost Phantom takes a right, entering a semi-populated hall.
"Can't wait to go home." A researcher stated walking with another.
"You and me both." Zero moved out of their way, dodging researchers heading for the exit.
He paced down the hall of doors until one jumped, making Zero flinch to a ready.
"LET ME! OUT!" A female voice shouts. "Please!"
'Keep moving.' Edge suggested while Will followed.
He entered through another door seeing a dead end of two halls.
"I think I'm going the wrong way." Zero gazed to his left and his right. "I'll make this quick." The Frost Phantom head to the door on his left.
He entered, noticing a see-through glass presenting a Male Heatblast sitting against the wall.
"Holy. Shit." Zero whispered under his breath. The Heatblast raises his head, staring at the fiberglass door ahead of him.
"If I was you. You should leave this place while you can." He said in a rough voice while Zero squinted his eyes.
'He's right.' Another voice whispered while Zero approached a desk in front of the glass. He noticed the button on the side before pressing it.
"Can you hear me?" Zero questioned.
"I don't know how you got past that many men, but you should leave now." Zero remained quiet.
"Do you know where there keeping my stuff?"
The Heatblast scoffed.
"No. This place is locked up tight. I only made it to the elevator." He gazed at the glass, landing his eye on Zero. Zero noticed his scarred eye. "You should know that."
"Do you have any information?"
"I was held in here." He looks up at the ceiling. "I don't know how long." The Pyronite paused. "The last time I saw my son. He was five years old. So I advise you to leave as you can."
'This is not right!' Highroller raised his voice. 'We have to do something!'
'The boy is only after the head.' A calm voice has spoken.
'And what else?! They would only torture them more?!'
Zero remained quiet once more before pressing the button.
"I'm getting you all out." The Pyronite snapped his head at Zero. "I promised you that."
"Kid. You only know me at face value."
"I lost an eye, a leg, and my arm." Zero glared. "And I'm sure as hell the others lost more." The Pyronite chuckled. "Besides, I got people on their way."
"Kid. Stop playing the Hero." The Pyronite glared. "Run."
"I-"
"GO!" The Pyronite roared, standing to his feet. His fire crackled. "Do you know how lucky you are?! Get out! Live your life! Don't let us drag you down!" Zero remained silent. "Move it!" The Pyronite clenches his fist. "I don't ever want to hear your voice again." He turned his back while Zero did the same.
Zero exited from the door before sighing.
"I know what to do." He whispered before walking down the hall.
'I advise you don't.' Edge replied while Zero turned the corner.
"You were trapped too."
'And releasing everyone will justify that? You don't know what they're capable of.'
"I sure do." Zero glared as he began walking down the hall of doors. Passing a researcher.
He made it back to the four-way hall before taking the center.
Entering Zero noticed five rows of workstations. In the corner was a lone scientist. He hovered, approaching her.
She continued typing before shivering, Zero's hand clam onto her mouth, causing her to yelp.
"Tell me." Zero stated as his cold breath hit her neck. "All you know." He released his hand.
"W-we claim artificial weapons. Gear. We even made prototypes." She whimpered while Zero's cold breath continued hitting her neck. "W-would you like to get out?"
"I do." Zero paused. "But not without my friends."
"How many?"
"All of them." Her breath shakes. "First: What are you doing with the limbs?"
"Studying it. Learning the properties of the DNA owners."
"Funny-" Zero whispered, placing his cold hand on her neck. She whimpered. "I see your knights claiming their DNA like it's their own."
"Please." The scientist cried.
'Focus.' Edge cut in while Zero glared through the head of the girl.
"You're not giving me anything." Zero tapped his finger on her neck.
"P-Please. That's all I know." The woman whimpered while Zero glared only to become a blank one.
Edge ink invades the woman's mind.
----
The clicking of heels fills his ears before his eyes open.
Stacy is carrying a cup of coffee, pacing through the hall of doors, following the dark red carpet of golden decoration.
Ahead of her, Is a Knight with a Black ribbon on his shoulder plate. He kept his head held high while Stacy avoided his gaze.
They passed each other as Stacy nodded while the Knight kept quiet.
Her eyes land on the light raining in on the carpet. She turned to the well-kept grass and the woods beyond it.
The sound of the door opening causes her to snap to the source, only to stumble back.
"Ugh!" She turned to the older man glaring at her. "Watch where you're going!"
"I-I'm sorry, doctor!" Stacy said. "I wasn't watching where I'm going."
"Indeed you are!" Stacy's eyes landed on the door with his name written on it. 'Dr. Amino.' Only for the Doctor to slam, it shut. Giving her a piercing glare.
"Sorry!" Stacy bowed.
"If you're sorry." He said slowly before snatching the drink from her hand.
"H-hey!" Dr.Animo walked passed her while her eyes followed his back. "T-that's was for-"
The Doctor sips the coffee smacking his lips.
"Hmm, pumpkin spice." He sips once more, gaining distance from her. "This could be my new favorite."
A bright light blinds her vision.
---
Zero eyes lids opened as Stacy crashed onto the desk.
"Hmm. This could be the guy." Zero said to himself, eyeing unconscious Stacy.
'We can't afford any mistakes.' Zero gazes at an energy drink can; beside her.
He opened it before shifting Will. The boy downed it keeping his lips from touching.
Will adjust Stacy's sleeping posture while propping the spill can.
The sound of the door opens while Will turns invisible.
"So. When do you get off?" A researcher entered the room.
Followed by another.
"About in an hour. Sadly." They turned to see Stacy.
They approach her while Zero lets them pass.
"Shot. This girl." One of the researchers said while adjusting the drink.
Zero phased through the wall heading back to the elevator.
He noticed someone coming down. Zero took to the ceiling embracing the darkness once more.
This time they remained quiet before Zero emerged from the floor.
He felt heat pressing against his leg before looking back at the fireplace.
Zero looked out to the room of couches and the private bar on the corner of the room.
'It seems they have a hidden elevator.' Edge commented while Zero flew across the room before phasing through the wall.
Zero feet touched the red carpet before his eyes followed it to massive stairs leading to the second floor.
The sound of sniffing causes him to snap to a Knight gazing in his direction.
Will's white eye dominated Zero's before expanding. Slowing the Knight in a blur.
Zero quickly rushes the Knight before freezing him in place.
"Ugh!" Zero became visible, clenching his eye with a grunt.
'Quick! Hide him in that door.' Edge replied before Zero powered through with the pain finding a door at the corner of the room.
Zero quickly pushes the Frozen Knight into the room, embracing the storage room in darkness.
Zero pants clenching his eye shut before Zero's eye became dominant.
'Look. Will.' Edge stated. 'That ribbon.' Zero looks up to the Frozen Knight. 'It's black.'
"Good." Zero pants before standing to his feet. "I'll avoid them at all cost."
He turns invisible before phasing from the door to a Knight climbing down the stairs.
Zero took off to the second floor before following down the hall of bland wallpaper and doors.
Zero comes to a halt seeing a Knight approaching him down the same hall. The Frost Phantom squinted his eyes to the Red ribbon on his shoulder. Zero presses his back against the wall letting the Knight pass.
The Frost Phantom continues on his way down the closed hall only to see the sunshining on the carpet.
His three-toed feet press the carpet embracing the sun hitting him. He gazed at the well-kept grass and the woods before them.
"How long would they take?" Zero whispered under his breath before reaching his hand out.
'Come on.' Edge stated while Zero eyes lingered on the outside world before him. 'We must go.' Zero continued down the hall before a wave of nostalgia hit him.
His eyes land on the doors on his left before stopping at the name. 'Dr. Animo.'
Zero peaks his head from the door gazing at the room with a desk stationed in the center of it.
'Hold.' Edge stops him. Zero gazed at the floor, noticing a motion sensor.
Zero glided over it before pacing toward the desk.
Zero remained silent before gazing at the computer. The frost Phantom moved the mouse, seeing it needed a password.
"Great, what now?" Zero said under his breath.
'You're forgetting me?' Another voice whispered while Zero only squinted his eyes.
"Oh!" Zero hummed before his hand turned into Update. He places his hand on the desktop station. Update hand absorbed the station while Zero kept his beetle eyes on the monitor.
Million of words entered the blank of the password before two words appeared.
"Dragon Project?" Zero whispered under his breath while the computer unlocked itself.
Two icons appeared.
Memos. Projects.
Zero squinted his eyes, leaning over the screen.
He clicks Projects.
"Wall Dampering?" Zero said to himself. "Glad he didn't finish." He continued searching.
Mind Control HeadBand. (Hold)
Mutant Ray. (Hold)
Ant suit. (Hold)
DNA Coating. (On-going)
Zero clicked on the Last, leaving him a blueprint of two domes.
'It seems to be a module with special properties.' A voice whispered. 'By the name itself. This is how they can transform the knights into shared DNA.'
Zero exited out before clicking on the Memos.
To a single video: Zero clicks on it, Presenting Dr.Animo with red goggles above his eyes.
"A month has passed after being taken in by the Forever Knights. Do I trust them? No. Do I get the recognition I wish for? Yes, yet even I know there's a loop around this." Dr.Animo adjusts himself in the chair. "One of my projects for this month was viewed by their Commanding Officer. Yet, I have no clue about his name. He gave me the green light. To test the Extraterrestrial he keeps in his Research facility."
"As a result, there were some failures, but I'd push myself." He glared from the screen at Zero. "I used my only friend. My family to succeed. And it was successful only at a price. He was aggressive to everyone, even me. Until. The Dragon's Project."
Zero became all ears.
"A kid named Will Glover, he something. A mutant? An alien? I have no idea. We begin transfusion into my Parrot. He became calm, calm to the point he turned back to himself. Nothing changes, yet the kid's DNA seems to be some nullifier that they can choose at will. Only if there in the right state of mind." Dr. Animo sighs.
"We began testing willing subjects. They all ended with different results. One suicidal. Another Psychopath. All ranges of emotions. Those that are a threat were eliminated while others were trained. The rare few don't seem human anymore." Dr. Amino looks away before looking back at the screen with a blank gaze.
"You know what to do."
The video finished.
Zero stumbled back.
'We must kill them all.' A voice said in his head while Zero remained quiet. 'Do you, how much power they could influence?'
"Yet. I'm still here." Zero said under his breath. Before clenching his head.
'Will.' Edge called. 'You could always wait for the others.'
"And do what? Get captured?" He said silently before exiting Dr. Amino's office.
He stood back in the long hall once more. Sees no guards from his front and back. He flies coming back the way he came.
"Brothers!" A voice shouted before coughing.
Zero got down before taking cover behind the railing on the second floor.
He peaks between the railing seeing the Knight the boy encased a while ago.
He was on his hands and knees, inches from the swinging storage closet door.
"You alright?" Four knights surrounded their fallen comrade before one crouched to his level. "You're cold."
"I-Intruder." He shivered. The four knights stand gazing at their environment while Zero crouched even lower.
"Can you smell them?"
"I-I." He mumbles before the crouching knight shifts into A Pyroknight. The Cold Knight sighs happily. "J-just give me time."
The Pyroknight gazed blankly at one of his men.
Two more arms burst from his chainmail, from under the Knight's original before blue fur and a tail grew.
The SpiderKnight leaps to the second floor across from Zero. Racing down the hall like an ape.
"Brothers. Keep a lookout." The Pyroknight said before Zero leaped over the railing before gliding after the SpiderKnight.
Zero held his breath while racing toward the unaware SpiderKnight. Getting closer, the SpiderKnight quickly leaped onto the ceiling.
He gazed around at the empty hall, only for Zero hands to grab onto his face.
"HMPH!" The SpiderKnight eyes peek between Zero's two fingers gazing at his face before going black.
Edge retreats into Zero's hand before the Frost Phantom catches him.
Zero peaks his head through the door nearby to see the bathroom. He opened it, tossing the Spiderknight in before closing the door behind him.
Zero made it back; to the main hall to see a Four-arm Knight climbing the stairs to the second floor.
He gazed down over the railing at the shivering Knight and PyroKnight, giving him warmth.
'Let's fused.' Edge stated within Zero's mind.
'I don't wanna waste my energy.'
'With my help, we can roll through them.' Zero thinks before blue and Grey ink climbed onto blue and black skin.
His glued teeth escape the binding before becoming sharp and crowded. Zero's skin pattern was replaced with Edge's.
The shivering Knight began sniffing.
"I-I smell something." He said while the PyroKnight cocked his head. The shivering Knight looked up, followed by the PyroKnight to the Symbiote Nercofriaggian getting a drop on them.
--
Zero + Edge = Zero's Edge
--
Zero's Edge trapped them within his cloak, clenching his jagged teeth.
The muffles of the two slowly became silent.
The Fusion dropped them to the floor before Zero's Edge snapped ink onto Fourarm's Knight mouth as he glanced at them over the railing.
Zero's Edge ink zips over the railing before driving the Fourarm's Knight head onto the carpet. Edge ink put him to sleep before Zero's Edge stood to their feet gazing at the environment.
'Wait. Where's the other one?' Edge questioned before an alarm blared, causing the Zero's Edge to flinch.
"Shit!" Zero's Edge cursed before vaulting over the railing. He shoots ink attaching to the carpet before pulling himself through the floor. Inviting darkness once more.
"Wait! Did you-"
'I can! Now Focus!' Edge command before they phased from the floor, landing on the white, polished floor, gazing at their Fusion look.
Zero's Edge beetle greens eyes stare at the long slithering tongue rolling from his mouth. Shoes squeaking gain his attention to a Scientist coming around the corner.
The scientist stumbled as he grew breathless. He makes a break for it only for Zero's Edge to close the gap quickly.
The Zero's Edge planted his hand across his face.
The man shook while the Symbiote Nercofriaggan closed their eyes lids. They reopened before they hurled the scientist's against the elevator door.
An animalistic roar gains their attention to a WildKnight leaping at them.
Zero's Edge hurled him across the hall before sliding from fireballs. He looked to two PyroKnight, rushing them with the frightened Scientists behind them.
Zero's Edge rushes to the left door to the WildKnight, standing on his hands and knees. WildKnight swipes at them only for Zero's Edge to phase through him encasing him in ice.
They entered the room, gazing at the monitors and controls. He turned back at the door before freezing it into a solid wall.
"Alright!" Zero's Edge turned back into Will. He stumbled into the controls.
The boy looked at the fifty monitors showing a copy of white doors from different angles.
The door bangs, causing the boy to jolt. He looked back at the controls shifting his hand Update. His eyes grew black before rapidly moving about until they stopped.
'What are you waiting for?!' Highroller stated.
'I-is this truly a good idea?' The boy questioned before jolting back at the ice wall-hazing smoke.
'Let's leave!' Edge argued.
'They deserved what, coming to them.' Another voice spoke.
'We can't leave them here!' Highroller cut in.
Suddenly hands begin piercing into the door before touching the ice wall.
'Let's go! Do it! The longer you wait, the more tests they will create!' The three voices bomb raided the boy with pressure as he began to sweat a lot while his breath grew heavy.
He noticed the PyroKnight creating a sizeable hole in the room.
The boy's eyes scanned around the monitor while Dr. Animo's Memo pierced his mind.
'QUIET!!!' A voice in the boy's mind quieted the voices. 'Darling. Whatever you pick is up to you.' Will gazed at the monitor. 'Whatever you choose will affect you in any way, but let them.' She paused. 'We will stand by your side. And They will never break you.'
The door bursts open while WildKnight slides to a halt. The boy shifts into Zero's Edge, roaring while the Knight does the same. PyroKnights rush in.
"Step! And you will DIE!!!" Zero's Edge shrieked. Bouncing the room while his ink rumbles.
WildKnight growling stops and the PyroKnight eyes focus on the screen.
Zero's Edge gazed back.
Room after room, aliens in different shapes and sizes burst or exit from their rooms while others were humans.
Screams began before the trio left the room.
