[Section : Captain Nemesis history (Identical to both Prime and the current universe)]
Years ago, Dimension 12 launched its robotic invasion, with Bellwood, Ben's hometown, bearing the brunt of the assault. These mechanical titans towered between 4 and 50 meters tall, their elongated arms equipped with retractable saw-blades capable of cleaving through buildings. Their eyes projected devastating laser beams, adding to their destructive capabilities.
Despite their overwhelming power, the robots' primary objective wasn't immediate destruction but rather the construction of dimensional portals. This singular focus proved to be a twisted blessing — while they methodically built their gateways, civilians had opportunities to flee. Even so, the death toll reached hundreds of thousands within mere hours, a number that could have easily reached millions had the robots prioritized elimination over construction.
Before military forces could mobilize, one individual rose to face the threat: Carl Nesmith, soon to be known as Captain Nemesis. Leveraging his inherited fortune and technological support from a childhood friend, he acquired a sophisticated power suit. The armor granted him high jumping capability, superhuman speed, enhanced strength, thermal augmentation, and energy blast abilities. Its most recognizable feature became the yellow 'N' logo emblazoned on a black circular background on the chest plate.
Within twenty-four hours, he accomplished what seemed impossible: single-handedly destroying hundreds of these mechanical invaders. His most daring act came when he leaped through one of their portals to infiltrate their network and plant a virus in their central server. (Although the robots could function independently, they maintained a shared data connection, making them vulnerable to digital warfare.)
Carl emerged victorious, having not only survived but also left behind explosive devices that destroyed all their portals while the virus corrupted their entire database. This feat instantly transformed him into a living legend.
Yet this triumph carried an unexpected cost — success fed his ego until it consumed whatever genuine desire to protect others he might have possessed. Or perhaps that noble intention had always been merely a facade.
In the years since, he descended into orchestrating staged crimes, desperately chasing the high of his former glory. Like an addict seeking an ever-elusive first hit, he became trapped in a cycle of manufactured heroics.
He is now past forty.

[Section : Captain Nemesis abridged (Prime universe)
In the Prime timeline, Ben's identity became public, catapulting him to worldwide fame as a celebrated hero. This drove Carl Nesmith (Captain Nemesis) to bitter jealousy. Unable to cope with his diminishing spotlight, Carl resorted to kidnapping Ben's girlfriend and trying to prove he can't be a hero.
His scheme failed, transforming him from fading hero to infamous villain. After this fall from grace, he made only two brief reappearances in the saga — once as a primary antagonist, and once in a minor villainous role. Despite his dramatic heel turn, he remained a relatively minor figure in the greater narrative being in only three episodes.

For no apparent reason, whether it's in the prime universe or the current one, Captain Nemesis consistently refers to Ben Tennyson as Ten Bennyson.

Leader of Dimension 12's robotic forces. Unlike many antagonists, Computron's motivation is purely destructive — no deeper philosophy, just an unwavering drive to destroy everything in existence.

[Section: Computron abridged] (Prime universe)
In the Prime timeline, his existence ended during his first appearance when Captain Nemesis deliberately opened a forbidden portal to Dimension 12.
After creating the crisis, Nemesis conveniently solved it by destroying the robot and its minions, trying to use the incident to enhance his failing reputation.

Most information about Dimension 12 remains classified. Known facts are limited: evidence suggests a civilization once existed there before apparent extinction by robotic forces.
The origins and purpose of these robots remain unknown.

As for how officials would describe Captain Nemesis?
Just some rich dude who happened to be lucky and quick enough.
Which may or may not be the truth, despite the fact he did save many people — no one can deny that. (Details: His impressive armor doesn't possess any secret technology but is far from cost-effective to mass produce, even for governments.)
As for his staged crimes afterwards, despite how he thought he concealed them, everyone knew about it… so both official and unofficial observers quickly lost all respect for him.
If anything, he remains free only because his staged crimes had no victims, and obviously because of that one maybe lucky time when he saved many people.

While surface similarities to the Prime universe exist, this reality remains fundamentally distinct. Even without the Omniversal War's influence (which gave participants knowledge of Prime events), individuals here naturally diverge from their Prime counterparts in origins, behavior and choices.
