"I was just a regular person 18 years old had some health issues that the doctors couldn't find out what is wrong you know the usual stuff they tried doing all sorts of things like blood work and scans but in the end they were all scratching their heads stupefied

I said aloud The empty room with a simple military cot and small dresser filled with military clothes my equipment laying around an a small table that's barely called one
My M4A1 assault rifle and camo bulletproof vest with a helmet a couple clips for my pistol laying around with a few bullets and magazines laying around as well I looked around and seeing my holster with my Glock 17 or is it 19 I can't remember I'm too tired but instantly thinking of the behemoth in the sky woke me right up
You would think gravity and such would affect a literal planet sized fortress but no it just said fuck you floating there in all it horrible fire power glory how a massive planetary fortress from our imagination came to life I never know but it certainly seems like it came from our nightmares
A metal surface how many layers deep I have zero idea I just know that on the surface it is mostly all metal and that it has massive and i mean massive gun like objects 100 kilometers long and more scattered all over that shoot huge ass projectiles several kilometers big and it's deadly accurate several hundred military bases made sure to test it out for us to learn that.
You know the aliens came in ships too a fleet of ships kilometers long made of some material that I have zero idea but I do know they have anti gravity engines equipped on their ships with lots of guns on it was a slaughter they came in groups of 5 or so ships and we not having a spaceship launched our fighters that was a terrible scene to watch on the television that was a year ago several ? I can't remember anyway
Here I am in a underground base that the military made I and several thousand others
We have basically been trying to rebel against the aliens they have everything better than us weapons, armor , fucking spaceships, and aircraft, and more all better than us the reason they didn't blow the planet up is because or so they theorized is because they want to terraform the planet not too sure myself but I know one thing they hate us
Hahahahaha you know I was a enlisted ,drafted whatever recruit during the first enemy ground attack they landed in the middle of some forest an I along with several hundred others who happened to be nearby were dispatched to find out what landed in the forest well we found them and a lot of them
They had these like robots that looked sci-fi as shit and the aliens had armor and weapons all better than human civilization so
Of course we were slaughtered but thankfully we downed a couple and took their bodies away to a research lab nearby the higher ups called that slaughter a total victory
You know it was a bloody mess of the hundreds of us that went to checkout the aliens what couple dozen aliens and robots only 38 made it back I was lucky very lucky to somehow make it out alive
Anyway we then officially went all out war with the aliens and lost terribly all the worlds governments and military bases were outright destroyed or barely functioning I was on a patrol with twenty other vehicles we saw smoke and when we checked it out no more base
Snapping out of my memories I proceeded to the conference room where I had to go to get my briefing today is the final act of humanity we either win or lose over the years we fought the aliens we reverse engineered some of their weapons creating our own not just weapons but building our own ships not as fast as the enemy but hey can't expect to catch up to them anyway one day I along with a bunch of other people attacked a convoy of the enemy rescuing some special forces people I learned from them and eventually became their special forces leader after a long time
Stepping into the room I saw several resistance group leaders and several small leaders like me all crowded in a room barely able to fit us all together the over 240 people here are all important figures in the rebellion against the aliens why keep calling them aliens cause we have no clue what they're called we just call them aliens
Seeing everyone here the leader began to speak
"You all know what today is our final battle against those aliens who took our planet over now listen and listen good I will only say this once" the leader by the name of Elizabeth
Said pausing and looking around then seeing no one speak she began once again
"We have one main objective here to take down that massive piece of metal in the sky all our forces main goal will be this today the aliens have brought the dam thing close enough that our forces can attack now we shall split up into 3 groups one goes straight after the big hunk of junk in the sky another will attack all the outposts they can as for the third you are to take control of the old nuclear weapons that were left over we have the codes and lunch keys ready your target is right above us you can't miss it now you all know your missions and you know what to do
We have been planning for this day forever now we can't fail now dismissed" she said
I stayed behind and after every one left approached her and kissed her wildly she also kissed me back I lifted her unto the table and slowly took off my shirt

Stepping into the makeshift troop transport that's as big as an AC130 but way bulkier and can go interplanetary and back theoretically at least but the engineers did their best so who am I to complain
Walking inside I am greeted by over 100 men all inside our Eva suits that are slimmed down to our shape just barely and oxygen tanks
"ALRIGHT BOYS ARE YOU READY TO KICK SOME ASS" I shouted it was silent for a moment before as if they practiced it a hundred times stomped their boots in unison lining up and shouting back "HOORAAH"
With that we all silently started preparing our gear not a single man of this unit spoke we have been together for many years since I was trained and put into a special operations unit as a newbie though most died more than 20 of these guys here are my brothers the rest also respect me I earned that respect long ago during a major battle with the enemy
After checking the gear I went to each soldier and checked the gear then it was go time honestly this bulky thing no idea what it looks like heard it looks like a bulky box with engines strapped to it well anyway we all sat down soon the operation: final deviance
was launched
The ship or if you can call it one started Vibrating and shaking like crazy as we left the launch bay soon it calmed down though it was still very shaky but it wasn't so bad
Soon the radio went off
"Zzz….Eagles have left the nest over….zzz"
"Zzz….Roger that eagle squad over….zzzz"
"Zzz…echo squad leaving nest over…zzz"

This went on for five minutes as we continued to climb I could imagine it looked like a sci-fi movie with our makeshift fighters going out in batches alongside our transports unfortunately it's reality
*thud thud thud*
Soon small sounds started becoming more heavy soon enough the thuds turned into
*bang bang bang*
"It appears that the enemy don't like us sir"a young soldier next to me said nervously
"Hahahaha you crack me up of course they don't like us but we shall make sure to give em hell" I said to the nervous soldier soon they all laughed and then the transport started climbing the vibrations got more and more the shaking started making the hands go numb my ears popped as I felt a warm sensation going out my ears after another 30 seconds a red light above us turned yellow
Instantly everyone went into focus so what if your bleeding out the ears so what if your body feels numb you must get ready
Then it turned green followed by a big impact
*craassssh thud thud thuuud*
As the troop transport landed harshly we exited the seats disorientated soldiers started to get up and move all around me soldiers grabbed their rifles and various other things the door opened as soon as I stood to my feet
I quickly turned around grabbed my assault rifle and stormed out energy lasers and various projectiles flew everywhere I looked left and right never once stopping as I see men die and enemy troops coming from everywhere I glanced up quick to find earth not so far away not even taking in the view I ran for cover making it before I was bombarded with lasers from the enemy if I was even a second slower I would be dead
Quickly assessing the situation I found only 30 soldiers of the 100 + soldiers were still alive make that 29 thinking quickly I aimed and shot at a alien in a tower structure not far away taking him out but when I shot at him another alien saw me and fired as well so simultaneously we both shot luck was on my side as it only grazed me ducking back behind cover
I quickly checked the damage to the suit which it now on the verge of breaking down
"DAMMIT WHO THE FUCK BUILT THIS SUIT" i screamed out and looking around I saw enemy's come out from a corner right in front of my eyes aiming the rifle shot at them coming out in droves
Now I am firing at enemy's in the rear while also getting attacked in the front thankfully I had cover for the front unfortunately there was no cover in the back so i watched helplessly as swarms of enemy's converged on my location my troops if any were now dead and I was surrounded the gunfire stopped all around me and they all just pointed guns at me
*sigh*
I not wanting to get captured pressed a button on my wrist the enemy's stunned by my quick movements began firing it was too late by then I pressed that button we were just a suicide squad so of course we had mini nukes or were they plasma?
*beep*
"Hahahaha DIE YOU SONS OF "*boooom*

(Soooo how's the prologue better terrible not that great let me know the first chapter should be out tomorrow I hope the grammar was not that bad and hopefully not as many mistakes on spelling I do look it over but I could miss something so anyway have a good one)
