Chapter 7: Dungeon
Chapter six
Lana allowed herself to be dragged to the dungeon by two strong-looking guards, even if she could easily escape, she wouldn't get so far because she was not familiar with the surroundings so she could only wait and while she was dragged she would memorize the route they took in other to get out. Of course, she wouldn't leave without getting her revenge for all this harsh treatment.
She felt the guards had strong arms unlike her supposed mate, these were her ideal men, men like these were built to be strong unlike someone she just met, she sighed helplessly at that thought.
As they were walking her foot hit an ascension and she glared at one of them.
The guards holding her felt her stare, They both had identical stern faces and were both muscular, they avoided her eyes even when they knew she couldn't see them.
She looked down at herself and realized that the down part of her dress would have been dirtied, she scrunched her nose at that, and the dress felt nice even if she complained about it being itchy. She blew against the white falling over her face in sadness.
They passed several doors until they got to an old-looking one at the back of the palace, guards were guarding the door, and the guards at the door made way for them after exchanging greetings and soon they entered the dungeon.
She wrinkled her button nose at the strong stench coming from the dungeon even before they stepped in.
She was already dreading her time at this dungeon, when she got out of there she was going to beat the daylight out of Damon for bringing her here.
The silence in the dungeon was unnerving. She suddenly felt like they were going down, it seemed to be an underground dungeon, the guards stopped for a moment, she didn't know what they did and soon they were moving again.
It felt like they had walked for hours and the smell of death was becoming more pronounced.
" What dungeon are you taking me to," she asked the one on her left, the look she gave him made his heart skip a beat, partly because of how beautiful her colorless eyes were and mostly how deadly they looked straight into his eyes, it was scary when she did it, he dared not keep silent after seeing the way she flung the prince away.
He swallowed and looked ahead avoiding her eyes.
" The wolf dungeon" he answered with a straight face, Lana scrunched her eyebrows. What the heck, why didn't they take her to a normal dungeon, why did they have to make everything harder?
She had heard many stories about dungeons from her father and of course, Damon and Wolf's dungeons were far worse.
Wolf Dungeon was a place even someone insane wouldn't dare go, it was one of the harshest dungeonsonswould ever be in.
Wolf dungeon was a place where all kinds of dangerous creatures were kept, they were rabid rogue wolves, both the ones that were sane and insane, monsters and abomination-able hybrids, dark spirits, failed experiments, and other sorts of living things that shouldn't grace the face of the earth.
Wolf dungeons were used to threaten bad kids in the village close to the forests. It was told as horror bedtime stories too, not all kingdoms had wolf dungeons, some had worse than that.
She was now carefully dragged down the stairs, she did not bother telling them to put her down, why would she anyway, why should she waste her energy when she was going to use them late?
They finally got to the last step and Age felt them walking on plane grounds, she could hear and smell them now.
Their warning snarls at the newcomer, they smelt like dead carcasses and excrement.
She heard the sound of chains being dragged across the floor as well as being rattled on the walls.
She didn't want to be here but she just had to obey so they wouldn't see her as a threat, well, more than a threat.
They proceeded to one of the cellars and opened the locks, yes, more than one.
Lana rolled her eyes at this, of course, it would be more than one, when you had all these dangerous things living under you, there's got to be extra security.
Lana was carefully escorted into her cell, the guards carefully chained her legs and hands to the wall.
As they chained her their hands were shaking, and she decided to mess with them a little bit.
" When I get out of here I will come for your heads, I will drink your blood and eat your flesh" The weaker guard shook when she looked straight into his eyes with her lifeless once and he froze.
She was one scary lady.
He snapped out of his frozen state when he was nudged, they hurriedly closed the cell, bolted all five locks, and fled.
" You can run but you can't hide " She held the gate and shouted after them, laughing at their frightened footsteps.
She moved her hands away from the gate when she felt a gentle buzz,
Silver,
Do they use silver on her? Fools.
As she scuffed she heard a low growl coming from beside her, whatever had growled was just inches away from her.
With the way it growled it wasn't a wolf, something more sinister was beside her, it was more like a snake trying to growl.
She turned to it and glared at it. Her lifeless eyes stunned the creature beside her, he wasn't really scared but intrigued. He hadn't seen anything like her, she was beautiful too.
" Quiet" she snarled menacingly and surprisingly it quietened immediately.
She smiled, her father told her she was just like her mother,
Wicked in every way.
Thinking of her father caused a slight pain in her chest but she brushed it off, she just missed home.
" What are you?" She asked it, from its height and the amount of bodily heat it gave off she knew it was an intelligent creature.
" Nothing" it replied in a deep voice that had a bit of resentment.
" Failed experiment then, good, very good" she concluded good nodding her head amusingly.
" Well then, your name is Coal," she said because his voice sounded like hot coal placed on the ice.
" Yess" he hissed looking at her with new eyes, he knew she was more powerful than her predecessor, and he smirked at the little girl in front of him.
" Well coal, we have work to do" With a low growl she pulled her hands.
