Beastman Forcefully Raising a Wife

Chapter 69

Tiantian! Shu Hanyu couldn’t wrap around Shu Jintian in time and hissed out in alarm before jumping down as well.

At this time, Shu Hanyu was completely unguarded, and his tail hadn’t even left the rock platform. Yan Ze was ecstatic and merely felt that the heavens were helping him as well. With a roar, he bit down on Shu Hanyu’s tail.

Tchsss~” Shu Hanyu suffered through the pain. He was bitten down on till he couldn’t go down even if he wanted to. He couldn’t help feeling incredibly infuriated, and used his strength to spring back up. His snake body leapt up high, then ruthlessly snapped down, cruelly biting into the beastman’s other good eye.

Hoowooo~” Yan Ze couldn’t avoid it in time and howled bitterly. Flinging away the snake on him, even the blood in his eye socket was flung off. His face was covered in a paste, and his already terrible appearance looked even more terrifying.

On this end, Shu Jintian fell down the rock platform and was only able to take a deep breath before his back slammed against the sea surface and he sank into the sea. Shu Jintian, who had already suffered internal injuries from the external force and heart wounds, suddenly puffed out a mouthful of blood water, and the oxygen in his mouth was all exhaled. Shu Jintian’s sight rapidly blurred and he vaguely saw a green snake figure swimming towards him.

Little snake! A string of reddish bubbles poured out of Shu Jintian’s mouth and his consciousness grew weaker as he slowly sank along with the flow of the seawater.

Female father! I’m here! The little snake sped up, learning from male father and winding his body around female father with great difficulty before spending a lot of effort to bring female father up.

Shu Hanyu still wanted to jump down to save them but Yan Ze seized the opportunity to surprise attack him, causing Shu Hanyu to suffer a few losses that weren’t too serious.

Yan Ze was fully blind and was now burning his boats, preferring they end in mutual destruction rather than be defeated so miserably.

Yan Ze now acted as if he no longer wanted to live, flapping his wings and recklessly attacking. Beastmen’s hearings were inherently sensitive, and thus, each time Shu Hanyu wanted to leave, Yan Ze would capture his movements and then crazily attack him.

To save Shu Jintian, Shu Hanyu had been scratched several times, and the anger in his heart was overflowing. He really wanted to swallow up this annoying beastman. But this beastman was unrelenting, and Shu Hanyu was unable to extricate himself for a time.

Shu Hanyu thought of how the little snake had also followed along and jumped down after Shu Jintian, so Tiantian temporarily wouldn’t be in fatal danger, and thus decided to deal with this beastman first. Shu Hanyu began facing his enemy with all his focus, and the momentum of the battle instantly changed.

The blinded liger beast was now in a state of complete disorder, attacking haphazardly like a mad dog. Shu Hanyu inwardly sneered, and began attacking while backing up, carrying out Yan Ze’s previous strategy.

Yan Ze was no match for him in strength and he was also blinded, so he was played into running in circles by Shu Hanyu. But no matter what, Yan Ze was still a forest expert and was very experienced in battle, and he was also physically strong. Whereas Shu Hanyu wasn’t the beast type that would explosively attack, so his attack effectiveness towards large beasts were rather slow and he couldn’t resolve Yan Ze for a time.

Yan Ze yelped hysterically, and began his dying struggle. Shu Hanyu didn’t have the patience and his enormous snake body rapidly wound around the liger beast body, each loop tightening his body, then he released the bitten neck.

Yan Ze screamed and blood began spurting out of the released neck wound. The fresh blood sprayed very far away, dying the entire rocky ground red, and there were even some drops of beautiful, bright-red blood that spilled down the cliff, dripping into the azure water before vanishing.

It was only when the beastman he was tightly coiled around did not move for a long time that Shu Hanyu finally loosened his body, crawling to the edge of the cliff to look.

It was now already dark out, and the water surface was churning unceasingly. The blue water vigorously pounded against the reef and splashed loudly.

But regardless of whether it was in the blue water or the water shore, there was no sign of Shu Jintian.

Shu Hanyu did not think any further and vaulted off the rock cliff, falling into the water headfirst like a droplet. His body nimbly and smoothly slipped into the blue water, and the immense impact made Shu Hanyu sink into the bottom and round a bend before it slowly weakened.

The last time Shu Hanyu had leapt down the waterfall, he had directly slammed against the water surface with a coiled body because the water wasn’t deep enough, so his large body naturally received a tremendous beating which led to him suffering internal injuries. But this time, with a deep enough buffer, Shu Hanyu didn’t get injured at all.

Shu Hanyu searched inside and out nearby, but still couldn’t find any traces of Shu Jintian, and couldn’t help growing anxious. Where’s Tiantian? Where did the little snake go to?

Shu Hanyu had a strong body, and such small waves naturally did not affect him much. But the little snake, with his female father who was much larger than him, couldn’t handle it as well. Don’t even talk about going ashore, even supporting female father was a little difficult.

As such, he now didn’t even imagine that the little snake and Shu Jintian had already been swept up by the receding blue water to the center of the blue water.

As the setting sun fell, the blue water began rapidly receding, and the surges gently discharged before firmly withdrawing, dragging both the little snake and Shu Jintian even farther into the sea.

Because the beastman mainland only had the sun and stars, and did not have the moon like earth, the blue water rose with the sunrise and fell with the sunset. Now, it just happened to be time for low tides, and added with the rather strong wind, the blue water was now much more violent compared to daytime.

The little snake’s upper body was curled around female father and his tail kept shaking repeatedly just so that he could ensure female father’s head remained afloat. But maintaining this action for a long time made the little snake have no energy to do anything else, so he could only wait for male father to save them. But unexpectedly, when he turned his head, he already could no longer see the shore.

The little snake was a little panicked, spitting out his snake tongue to lick his female father. But Shu Jintian did not react at all, and his face was paper-white while his rather long hair covered half his face. The black and white formed a boundary and produced a clear-cut comparison, turning his complexion even paler.

The little snake panicked, afraid that something was wrong with female father, and kept crying out.

This small distraction led to Shu Jintian being covered by the blue water once. The little snake felt very guilty and did not dare get distracted, swaying his tail rhythmically.

Female father will be fine, he should obediently wait for male father to come save them ba!

Until the sky darkened and the little snake was thoroughly exhausted, male father still did not rescue them. But he unexpectedly bumped into a reef that wasn’t very large

The little snake was delighted and did his best to sway his tail and approach the reef. But the waves at the center of the blue water was even more turbulent, and drifting with the waves and staying afloat was already strenuous to the little snake, so wanting to actively head in a direction was even harder.

The little snake looked at the reef occasionally nearing and drawing further from them, perseveringly exerting his effort. After a long time, he finally had the good fortune to be slapped against the reef by a wave that was following their route.

The little snake arranged female father properly and his body was practically out of strength. His tail hooked around Shu Jintian’s waistband to steady his body and then went soft, panting a little weakly. His long and soft snake body drifted with the waves, like a seaweed on the reef and looking like a swaying life force.

When was male father coming ah? I’m so tired, I really want to sleep ah! The little snake rubbed against female father before keenly realising that female father was now no longer as warm. He was now almost as warm as the little snake, which made him feel very uneasy.

Male father still isn’t coming, but female father is about to freeze to death already. Wuwu~~

The sky had completely darkened and the waves were no longer as violent as before, gradually settling down. Nearby, a stroke of red appeared on the water surface.

The little snake glimpsed a stroke of red out of the corner of his eyes which frightened him so much that his drowsiness disappeared, but there was nothing at all when he looked again. Shaking his head, he realised that he was seeing oddly. What red thing was there before him? Everything was water ah!

The little snake had just relaxed when there was a sudden sound of water behind him. The little snake drew his body taut in a split second, spinning around and getting in a defensive posture.

Once the little snake turned its head, he saw a tall male floating on the water surface. He wasn’t wearing clothes like male father, and because it came out of the water, his head of long, bright-red hair was sticking to his body, outlining his well-shaped figure.

The little snake arched his body slightly and hissed in warning, sizing up the visitor alertly. It was then that the little snake realised that his body hidden in the water unexpectedly turned out to be a similarly red fishtail that was gently swaying. It looked very effortless and casual, and it was clear that he was being ignored. What was even more hateful was that he even poked his female father with a hand.

The little snake hadn’t awakened too many inherited memories and had no idea that he was of a different breed with him; he just felt that his tail was unimaginably short.

Hmph! How short! His tail must have been bitten off by someone!

When the little snake saw this person daring to touch his female father, he grew crazy from age. He himself did not dare to casually touch female father, yet this person was so impudently touching him. How hateful; he must bite off his remaining tail!

Ssss~” The little snake bared its teeth and snapped at the red mermaid, but was effortlessly waved off by the other. A long green snake flew high in the air and streaked across the water surface before finally dropping in the water with a plop.

【Hehe… Little thing, you’re pretty smart ah!】the red mermaid laughed playfully and then no longer looked at the young Spiritual Snake, turning his attention back on Shu Jintian.

The mermaid carefully poked the back of Shu Jintian’s ears, his eyes even more amazed.

【Huh? No gills? Is this a dry land female? Why would he run off into the blue water? Is he also part of the Spiritual Snake race? Oh, it doesn’t matter, he should be brought back first!】

The mermaid thus decided so cheerfully, then picked Shu Jintian up and swam off elsewhere while floating on the surface. It was said that dry land females couldn’t breathe underwater, so it was better to be careful!

This drove the little snake crazy from anxiety, and he hissed out a few sounds of warning. After being ignored again, he made threatening gestures as it haphazardly swam in the water. It took a good while before he could return to female father’s side, but before he could steady himself, he was thrown out by a raise of the mermaid’s tail. A green arc appeared on the dark water surface again.

Let go of my father!

Seeing his father being seized by someone, the little snake flew into a rage and turned its body before rushing towards the female, and then was flung out again. But this time, that person’s strength seemed a little stronger, and the little snake was pained from the fall. But he wasn’t afraid at all and continued rushing at the mermaid.

The red mermaid was annoyed by this Spiritual Snake that was acting recklessly, and was getting increasingly impatient with it. At first he even felt that this little guy was cute, yet he was unexpectedly such a thoughtless guy. If it weren’t for him being the same breed as the female, he would have long eaten him up.

Due to the mermaid being in a standing posture and carrying an unconscious female, his speed was slowed a lot. This conversely allowed the tiny Spiritual Snake to be at the advantage.

The little snake was flung further and further away, and made him unable to catch up with the person who took away female father. To be able to follow behind female father, the little snake had no choice but to maintain a certain distance and watch him closely all the time.

Baobao Notes

Actually, some small trivia: 1)I translated 67 quite a while ago and while I sobbed over it, after that my editors and I went like: man, cant wait until the readers see this chapter. Every time yall commented ‘awww the snakes are so cute’ we were like ‘hehehehe yall buckle the FUCK up’. The day the chapter was gonna be published, we really pulled out the popcorn and i screenshotted all the comments (at first, cuz wow there was a lot of comments at that chap)

2) When I asked the cg tlers to help me to 67, i continued on to 68 and 69. To clarify my sadness, I deadass said: man, I’m so sad about the deaths I didn’t even say ‘nice’ upon hitting chapter 69…
