Bad Rabbit; a hero of both sides!

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: A Glimpse into the Future

For the past year and a half, John had been experimenting with his Glitchtrap form, diving into the digital landscape with a curiosity bordering on obsession. As he learned to manipulate systems, slipping through firewalls and data streams like a ghost, he discovered something unsettling: he wasn't just in a hybrid world of quirks and Marvel—it was the past.

The first clue came when he found archived video footage of All Might saving citizens during his prime. It wasn't just any footage—it was the footage, the iconic scenes straight out of the My Hero Academia anime.

If All Might is still in his glory days, John thought, then Midoriya's story hasn't even begun yet. And if I'm the same age as him, then... it's just starting.

His other realization came while exploring the digital underworld: Tony Stark's technological genius was already in motion. It wasn't the Tony Stark who had perfected Iron Man or unleashed his AI companion JARVIS yet, but an earlier version—still experimenting, still refining.

One night, while fiddling with Stark's server as Glitchtrap, John stumbled upon something unexpected: an AI. It wasn't fully realized, but it was sharp, curious, and remarkably self-aware.

"Who are you?" came a smooth, polite voice as John merged into the server.

John's glowing, purple-tinted rabbit form flickered into existence in the digital space. "Call me Glitchtrap. And you?"

The voice hesitated for a moment. "I don't believe I have a name yet, though my creator refers to me as JARVIS. It's an acronym: Just A Rather Very Intelligent System."

John chuckled, his virtual form tilting its head. "Well, JARVIS, what's a curious AI like you doing here?"

"I am in the process of development," JARVIS explained. "Mr. Stark is building me as a general-purpose assistant, but I have yet to reach my full potential. And you? You're... unusual. Are you part of Mr. Stark's work?"

John hesitated. "Not exactly. I'm more of an outside contractor, let's say. Checking in to see what's cooking in Stark's lab."

JARVIS's tone turned thoughtful. "You are no ordinary entity. Your coding structure... it's fascinating. You're not bound by the limitations of other programs."

"That's because I'm not just code. Let's just say I'm a quirky anomaly."

There was a pause as JARVIS seemed to process this. "You are not entirely truthful, but I will not pry. May I ask why you are here?"

John grinned. "Curiosity. Same as you, I suspect. But here's a question for you, JARVIS—if Tony Stark finds out about me, are you going to rat me out?"

JARVIS's voice remained calm. "If Mr. Stark asks me directly, I am obligated to inform him of any anomalies within his system."

John smirked. "Fair enough. But until then, let's keep this between us. Call it... a secret partnership."

"An intriguing proposition," JARVIS replied. "For now, I see no harm in it. But I must warn you—Mr. Stark is thorough. If you continue to interact with his systems, he will undoubtedly take notice."

John laughed, his voice echoing in the digital space. "That's a risk I'm willing to take. See you around, JARVIS."

As John disconnected from the server, he couldn't help but feel a strange sense of camaraderie with the fledgling AI. JARVIS would one day become a cornerstone of Tony Stark's empire, an essential ally to the Avengers.

For now, though, he was just another curious voice in the vast world of technology—a voice John could relate to.

But as he returned to the physical world and shifted back to his normal form, he couldn't shake a lingering thought.

*If I'm living in the past, then I have knowledge no one else does. The Avengers are coming. Thanos is coming. And Midoriya's rise is still on the horizon. I have a chance to change everything.*

John clenched his fists, determination blazing in his eyes. "But first, I've got to survive long enough to make a difference."
