Chapter 693: Instant Annihilation, the Loneliness of Invincibility...
The more Lord of Hell observed, the more dread and fear grew within him.
Especially because, despite not sensing any Divine Power or Law-level Divine Authority from Sterl, the aura that emanated from him made even his formidable being feel a chill of terror.
He was the Lord of Hell, a powerful existence on par with those Divine Authority beings in the Upper Realms of the main world. He was a true Divine Authority powerhouse.
Even so, as he stared at the mysterious figure above, a sense of horror gripped him. It felt as though within Sterl, there was an invisible vortex capable of annihilating everything. If unleashed, it could destroy the entire world!
But Sterl paid no attention to the thoughts and emotions of the gods. Upon arriving on the battlefield, he could clearly sense that, whether strong or weak, all the insect legions on the ground and in the sky had locked their gaze on him. Their eyes carried a sense of focus and malice, as though he were their natural enemy.
It was as if the moment Sterl appeared, all other enemies were immediately forgotten.
"Heh, looks like I've definitely been targeted," Sterl muttered lightly, his heart sinking for a moment before quickly loosening up again.
It was evident that the force behind these creatures had already placed some sort of mark on him. This mark would make him their primary target, the first one they would attack.
In other words, he was about to face a relentless pursuit from these monsters.
But did Sterl fear these ugly insects? Not at all! If they dared to chase him, their fate would only be one— he would turn the tables on them and use their destruction to fuel his own power!
"ROAR!!!"
Suddenly, a deep, resonating roar echoed across the battlefield, its sound flowing like a torrent, instantly covering a thousand miles.
The source of this roar was none other than the massive creature battling the Lord of Hell.
This monster's form bore some resemblance to the mother body's combat shape, but it was entirely silver, with six arms growing from its massive body, standing over ten meters tall. It looked incredibly powerful and robust.
What made it even more dangerous was that a surging layer of gray energy, forming a sort of Flame, enveloped the creature. This raised its threat level by several tiers!
"Trivial tricks," Sterl sneered disdainfully, seeing through the creature's essence at a glance. Whether it was the monsters birthed by the mother bodies, the combat form of the mother bodies, or the fusion of the two, he could tell exactly how powerful they were.
They relied purely on their physical bodies, fighting with raw strength, speed, defense, and soul impact—unlike ordinary beings that would also rely on Divine Power, Laws, or various skills and abilities.
It was pure and incredibly powerful. Furthermore, the gray energy that enveloped them could be considered their core power. With this gray energy combined with their formidable physical form, these creatures became nearly unstoppable.
The strength of this particular creature's body was probably only enough to deal with weakened upper-level Divine Authorities, but with the addition of this layer of gray Flame energy, it could break through the power and laws of Divine Authorities.
It also disregarded the restraints and control of Divine Authorities, which allowed it to fight on equal terms with the Lord of Hell.
But for Sterl, this gray Flame energy would no longer be enough to make him helpless.
In the blink of an eye, the monster charged toward Sterl, while other elite creatures surrounding it also rushed toward him in a frenzy. Even the ordinary insects on the ground began to surge upward in waves, pushing toward Sterl in the sky.
Moreover, the insect legions of the Core Hell were far more diverse. In addition to the Silver Spiders, Mantises, and flying creatures, there were also self-destructive, defensive, and even healing types.
This made Sterl involuntarily think of a terrifying creature from his previous life—a fictional insect race.
The insect race was known for its terrifying ability to mass-produce soldiers and could steal the genes of the creatures they hunted, creating even stronger soldiers. Not only that, but they could evolve to develop abilities suited to different environments, and they were also absolutely loyal to the insect race's mother body.
The strange power these monsters displayed was almost identical to that of the so-called insect race, and even more bizarre and formidable!
"Could it really be a force similar to the insect race?" Sterl paused for a moment. This was the first time he considered this possibility.
But after a closer reflection, it seemed it was more than just a simple comparison.
"If it's really a force like the insect race, then this could be trouble..." Sterl took a deep breath. The insect race from his previous life had been called the Interstellar Calamity, a truly terrifying existence. He could only wonder how strong the insect race of this world might be.
But he wasn't going to dwell on it. No matter what they were, if they dared to provoke him, they would all fall into endless destruction and vanish completely!
With that thought, he turned his gaze to the swarming insects, especially the strongest of the elite creatures. A cold glint flashed in his eyes.
"A mantis trying to stop a chariot? Even the mother body that gave birth to you is a soul in my hand. How dare you, a bunch of trash like you!?"
With a thought, the four hundred and eighty types of Law that Sterl had mastered surged forth in an instant!
In that moment, Sterl became like a supreme god who wielded countless Laws. A terrifying and chaotic tidal wave of Law powers surrounded him, as if he were a Genesis Lord, or even a demon capable of destroying the world.
The Lord of Hell, who had been watching Sterl, shuddered. His eyes bulged, wide open, staring as if he had seen some kind of miraculous, impossible event, utterly fixated on Sterl.
"Wh... What is this? How can this be possible!?"
As an upper-level Divine Authority, he could clearly sense that the power radiating from Sterl was Law Power. But that was precisely why he was filled with profound fear and disbelief.
Because this Law Power—it was just too much! Could a living being even possess this kind of power?
Hundreds of Law Powers—wasn't this enough to tear oneself apart?

The Lord of Hell stood there, stunned. Having lived for so long, the only place he'd ever sensed this kind of rich and complex Law Power was within the world itself. But never had he encountered it in another being, let alone a single individual.
He never even imagined that so many Law Powers could coexist within a single person.
After all, even gods have limited Law Power. They simply don't have the energy to master that many Laws.
But Sterl, his Laws not only numbered in the hundreds, but the intensity of his Law Power had also reached a perfect level. Was this some kind of dream!?
With a gentle gesture of his finger, Sterl condensed all four hundred and eighty Law Powers into a terrifying vortex.
It was like a Black Hole in the Endless Void, exuding an aura of total destruction.
The strength of the Law Vortex significantly increased as Sterl's mastery over Law Power grew from three hundred sixty to four hundred eighty.
Moreover, Sterl could feel that he was much closer to reaching some kind of profound, elusive level.
But, he realized, even though he was closer, he was still a long way from truly grasping that level.
The moment the Law Vortex formed, an overwhelming force of restraint surged out. In an instant, all the elite monsters closest to him were sucked into the vortex, being relentlessly ground down by the chaotic Law Power.
In the blink of an eye, all the monsters, except for the strongest one, were torn to shreds and reduced to dust.
As for the strongest monster, its gray Flame energy was visibly fading away at an alarming rate.
This strange gray energy Flame was indeed capable of ignoring even the Divine Power and Law of upper-level Divine Authorities. Though Sterl's Law Vortex was made up of ordinary Law, each had reached a perfect level, and with such a massive quantity, its power had unknowingly transcended the level of upper-level Laws.
As long as the energy level was sufficient, no matter how strong this gray Flame was, it could still be worn down.
"It's over, trash."
Sterl casually extended his hand and suddenly swung it toward the monster.
In an instant, space collapsed. Under the empowerment of Hell's power, Sterl's pure strength could easily overwhelm even upper-level Divine Authorities. A devastatingly terrifying force immediately engulfed the monster.
Sterl quickly realized that this gray energy could only resist and wear down various types of energy. However, it had little effect on pure strength.
After all, the bodies of these monsters were nearly invincible, extremely tough, and nearly unmatched in strength. Who could have imagined they would meet a monster like Sterl?
His strength pierced through the gray Flame, striking the monster's body. It was as if dozens of nuclear bombs had been detonated within it. Its body rapidly dissolved like a candle, meeting the same fate as all the other monsters.
With a thought, Sterl activated his Phantom Purgatory ability, his gaze sweeping over the billion-strong insect army, immediately pulling all of their souls into the Purgatory.
Under Sterl's terrifying soul power, even the most powerful elite monster could only resist for a second.
A second later, the silver-white torrent that nearly covered the entire land suddenly collapsed, turning into countless silvery-white excretions that spread out in all directions.
However, Sterl, with the attitude of completely finishing what he started, waved his hand, collecting all of the excretions.
In the blink of an eye, the army that had been tormenting the Core Hell layer was completely wiped out.
"Too weak."
Sterl said calmly.
Having already faced the assault of twelve mother bodies, the monsters fused from those bodies, and the five water drops' attacks, this level of combat felt like nothing to him. In fact, he found it somewhat dull.
