Avatar: Tower Master

The train in Ba Sing Se was quite the achievement, I had not realized just how big the city was. Seeing it in person and in a TV show was two very different things, Not to mention the layout of the city was not exactly mentioned a whole lot. The further in you went the nicer the buildings and besides the outer ring the farther out you went the more poverty you saw. Fortunately it only cost a few points to make myself some nice earth kingdom clothes and a replicated pass to the inner city. 

"Kindove wish I changed my appearance" I said to myself looking at the stares I was getting. I could've changed but I wanted to find Long Feng as soon as possible and my map didn't show people here, even if there were way too many people living in the city. 

At that point the rail car stopped and doors opened allowing everyone inside to filter out. Currently I had just arrived in the innermost ring where the palace was. As I exited the car I saw a woman dressed in tan clothes with green accents and an earth kingdom symbol on the chest. Her shoulder length black hair was tied up with an earth kingdom hairpin. As soon as she spotted me she approached. 

"Hello my name is Joo Dee. I have been given the great honor of showing you around Ba Sing Se" she introduced with the most forced smile I had ever seen in my life. 

"Well at least Loong Feng knows I am here, though I didn't think he knew who I was," I commented. 

She twitched at my comment and her eyes darted around "If you will come with me please" 

"Lead the way" I replied, gesturing forward. 

She turned and left expecting me to follow, which I did. She led me to a carriage that I climbed in after her and started off. 

"On your way in you pass through the lower ring where our artisans and craftsmen live, it is also where new arrivals are usually welcomed. Currently we are in the inner ring where our most prestigious residents reside as well as the earth king himself" 

I just ignored the speech and looked out the window, due to the multitude of abilities I had now it was easy to spot Dai Lee spying on me. Most likely Long Feng kept the letters that had been previously sent by Boomy and my description was among them I think. Soon the carriage stopped outside a small building. 

"This is where you will be staying for now," Joo Dee explained. 

Stepping out of the carriage "Riiiight" I drawled out "until a Dai Lee agent tries to kidnap me" 

That statement made Joo Dee trip out of the carriage, I had to catch her and help her to stand back up. 

"Thank you" she said laughing nervously. 

Walking towards the small house I called back saying "Just let him know I want to talk face to face, if he tries to kidnap me it won't go well" 

Entering the small home I noticed it was quite bare, not much furniture, there was a table, a sofa and a few sleeping mats. The entire place basically screamed 'you won't be here long'. Laying down on the couch I closed my eyes and used a few spells and abilities to let me know when someone approached. 

It took a few hours and the sun had since gone down by my abilities let me know that three people were currently on the roof. They split up each one going for a different entrance. 

"I wouldn't suggest that" I called aloud. 

I could tell they flinched at my acknowledgement of their existence. Acting quickly, each came through an entrance, the front door, and two windows. As they came in they simultaneously launched their earth gloves at me hoping to arrest me. But the attack bounced off a pale barrier. 

Getting up from the couch I said, "I told you not to do that, all I wanted to do was talk with Long Feng but now you just annoyed me" They moved to attack again but I raised my hand using a recently acquired ability "Stasis". 

They all froze mid attack, not being allowed to move their own bodies. Walking forward I pulled out a recent invention of mine that I called a chi stopper. It was a cursed item that used the user's own chit to stop them from using their bending and it couldn't be removed except by the one who put it on. The curse itself affected the pressure points that chi flowed through, though it didn't hamper someone's movement like chi blocking dose. 

Slipping the bracelets onto their wrists I said "Once I release you, you will take me to Long Feng. If not then I wont remove the bracelets" 

As soon as I released the stasis I saw each of them try to bend earth but nothing happened. Again and again they tried as I watched the reality of the situation dawn on them. It doesn't matter who you are, losing your bending is a traumatic experience. 

"Now are you going to take me to Long Feng or lose your bending forever?" I questioned. 

Perhaps thinking that they could get more help from their colleges or Long Feng himself, they agreed and started leading me through the city. Surprisingly instead of Lake Laogai we went towards the palace. 

"So you decided to take me to Long Feng instead of the lake, good" I commented seeing them flinch at the mention of their hidden base. 

It took a few minutes, but we arrived at the palace, and I realized just how big it was. It Honestly made me quite jealous, but then again, I was never one for large homes even in my past life I preferred something small. 

Following the Dai Lee agents through the halls of the palace I could see many more attempting to secretly follow after my little group. Soon I was led into a large empty room, most likely used as a spare banquet hall. Looking forward it was easy to spot Long Feng, the downside was he was surrounded by about a hundred Dai Lee agents. 

Walking past my three escorts I yelled out "Long Feng I was hoping that we could have a civil conversation". 

"I do not know how you got into my city, your reputation proceedings you 'Tower Master" he said sarcastically. 

"So you do know who I am, which means you intercepted the letter meant for the earth king, as I expected your to" 

"Most of the letters contained nonsense about some sort of tower, but on the other hand they contained much information on your supposed power. At first I didn't trust the information but then this was found in my city" Long Feng said, pulling out a red potion. 

"Ah, a health potion, quite the good one too. Who did you steal it from?"

"Just some passing merchant trying to sell his goods here" 

"To be honest I am surprised you never sent any agents to confirm the letters" 

Scowling he replied, "I have enough issues to deal with here, I don't need to waste manpower on confirming someone outside our walls". 

"Outside your walls? Now that I am here the issue is decidedly inside your walls" 

"You are correct in that assumption but don't worry I have plenty of ways to get information"

"Oh, you mean your brain washing technique?" I saw his eyes go wide and his mouth hang open a bit in surprise "As much as I don't like the method you use it is still quite the impressive feat of ingenuity" 

Composing himself he stated "I guess I have more information to take out of you then I thought" 

"You are welcome to try" I goaded. 

"Dai Lee, restrain him" 

In a synchronized movement every agent got ready to send their earth gloves as me ready to restrain my whole body. 

"Stasis"
