Avatar, the spirit of knowledge

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Desicions and POV

"You can't imagine, how much I wanted to talk to to you." He said with his low raspy voice.

"Ehh? You know me?" aks the woman with confusion apparent in her voice.

"Of course I do, you were the only one visiting me and talking to me."

"Wait, how were you able to hear me talk to you?"

"I couldn't exactly hear you, I just knew you were talking to me and what you said. Until I somehow managed to sense sound. Now that I think about it, that ability vanished after I was freed from that place."

'Although I got a huge amount of knowledge in my head in exchange.'

"So what concept do you rule over?" asked Thanatos as he butts in their conversation

"I don't know. Why?" asked the man looking at Thanatos.

"That's not suposed to happen, you should instictively know what you rule over." comments Aether with concern in his voice.

"Well I don't know, there is nothing we can do about it right now."

"I agree with him, rushing him is wrong, give him some time. He will most likely find his concept during his life." Chronos agrees from the side.

"Right now we should find out what we are going to do about him. We can't exactly set him free in a world he knows nothing about. Now that humans are about to be led by Raava he would be in danger, they will hunt him down like an animal to 'control' his power for themselves." remarks Vaatu with frustration in his voice, since his loss put his newborn brother in danger.

"How about teaching hm things about our concepts and ourselves? That way he may find out his own concept and at the same time we will have some family time with him." asks Aether.

"That is a good idea, however I believe he has the right to decide for himself, even if his choice is less than ideal." Chronos shares his wisdom with his siblings.

"So what do you want to do,... sorry I have no idea what you name is, have you chosen one for yourself?" asks Aether with excitment, as the man stops hugging Zoi.

"I have, I shall be called Solon."

"So, what do you desire to do, Solon?" Zoi repeats her question.

"I want to learn." he answers with conviction.

"Very well then. We shall teach you to the best of our abilities."

"Yay, family time." Zoi, squeels from the side as she hugs Solon once again.

[Chronos POV]

What an interesting being, my new brother that is. Even I, as the oldest among my siblings am unable to find out anything about him. It's as the world itself hides all information about him. I can't even see his future, that means I cannot protect him from danger, I cannot follow him around after all.

Nonetheless, I am happy I have a new sibling to look after, family is never enough after all.

He seems to accept us as family, thats a good sign, I don't think Zoi could handle another rejection from someone she considers family. The mother of faces dared to make my little sister cry, every time I remeber it, I feel like erasing her from existence.

Just because she managed to reach our level of power doesn't mean we are equal... or that she is nessessary for the world. She doesn't seem to understand that.

"Come with me Solon, I will be teaching you first. You must learn about the neutral concepts before you learn about chaos and peace. Beings of our level cannot and should not take sides, other than those two of course." I call out to Solon while he nods, hugs Zoi once more and then follows me.

[Aether POV]

I wanted to teach Solon before Chronos. I have a rivaly with him. He was born zeptoseconds before me, and that's only because time was needed for me to be born, but I refuse to let these feeling of frustration influence me, my older brother might be annoying, but he is the wisest among us. He is the best choice to teach Solon first, his wisdom will prove to be a useful tool to shape his ideals.

[Zoi POV]

I am so happy. Not only did I get a new younger brother but I also get to teach him about myself. I am sure he will be so exited to learn from me too, unlike the mother of faces Solon seems to like me quite a lot. I still don't get why she rejected my offer to become part of our family. I was sad during that time, I had to stop Chronos from erasing her. He is so overprotective, not that I hate that, it show we are close to each other. I can't wait to be my turn to teach him.

[Thanatos POV]

Chronos teaching Solon is the best outcome we could get. Letting him wander around could be dangerous, although I doubt he would get himself in danger, he would most likely follow Zoi around, he seems attached to her and I don't blame him, when he said he knew what happened around him during his fruit period, I felt guilty. I can't imagine what it's like to stay put in one place for one million years, unable to do anything.

Right now Zoi is the only being he truly knows and the only reason he agreed to be taught by Chronos is because Zoi trusts him to be a good teacher, the fact that she didn't object to the plan showed that. I just hope he will come to accept us as family as well.

[Vaatu POV]

I put my brother in danger. Because I lost to Raava, Solon won't be able to travel around the world. NO! It's not my fault, it's because of humans, if they weren't so easy to get consumed by greed, Solon would be able to explore and see the wonders of this world. Even if I represent chaos I can't deny that this world is full of beauty.

What can I do now? Raava won't let me erase the remaining humans and the lion turtles she convinsed to protect them will notify her immediately if I use my powers to influence them while inside the city. What if I manipulate them? Instead of using my powers to control them I can make them make the choice themselves.

Yes, I will make them use this power they gained to destroy themselves, then Solon can explore withour fear.

I have to get to work if I want this to work. Right now, because of the lack of humans Raava and I are equals in power. I should try to weaken her first.

Time to bring some chaos.

[Raava POV]

I am sure I will be the last to teach Solon, my siblings never really liked my ideals about the world. The only reason they never did anything about it is because we are family, but with the birth of Solon everything changed. It's not about just insignificant beings anymore... for them, if humans endanger their new sibling they won't care about my opinion.

They will erase all humans and I will be powerless to stop them, even if I can keep Vaatu in check, I won't be able to stop the others. I am sure Vaatu already has planned something to create chaos and destroy humans. That's what I would do in his place. I will keep an eye on him for now.

I just wish that once Solon observes humans, he will see the same potential I see in them.
