Avatar, the spirit of knowledge

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Birth

[Spirit world, the first harmonic convergence]

Raava, the spirit of peace and ligh and Vaatu, the spirit of Chaos and darkness. These two primal forces have fought over the control of the spirit world. However due to their power they destroyed parts of the world around them completely. So they decided to fight every 10 thousand years to decide the fate of the world.

Now the first battle that would decide how the world would develop in the future is about to start.

[Raava POV]

This fight is way too important for me to get distracted. I have to win or Vaatu will bring chaos and darkess upon the whole spirit world.

"Are you ready Raava?" he asks as if he has already won. It's so annoying, why can't he understand that the world needs peace to exist.

"I am ready Vaatu. Let's get this over with."

[Third POV]

The moment Raava states she is ready, the fight starts with vaatu shooting a beam of pure energy aiming to distract raava as he flies towards her and attacks with his limbs.

Raava evades the beam and rushes to Vaatu using her own tentacle-like limbs to block his attack and catch him throwing him towards the ground creating a smokescreen that hides his figure.

"You know you can't beat me Raava, darkness will take over the world whether you like it or not." Screams Vaatu in anger, as he attacks Raava with a beam of dark energy.

Raava ignores his provocation as she once again dodges the beam trying to get close to Vaatu in order to trap him with her limbs.

As she is about to attack Vaatu a black tentacle comes out of the ground trapping her in place.

"You are weak Raava, that's the difference between us, trying to protect these lowly spirirts was a mistake, they are not worthy of our protection. We represent one of the fundamental forces of the world, we are not supposed to interfere with their life." Stated confidently Vaatu as he charged a huge beam of dark energy and shot it towards Raava trying to vanquish her.

"What I do with my powers in none of your bussiness Vaatu. I want to protect these spirits and I will do so." Said Raava as she used her light energy to shot and equally big beam at Vaatu.

For a single moment there was complete silence as if the world itself was anxious about it's fate.

Then, a huge explosion took place, destroying the ground around the two fighters, leaving a huge cloud of smoke around them.

After the smoke went away, the both looked at each other silently for a single moment before they once again rushed at each other.

However, before they came in contact, the both stopped and looked at the places they were standing on. There two big balls of energy were created out of their energy. One ball was red symbolizing chaos and darkness while the other one was blue representing light and peace.

With the creation of these portals, the world itself changed. The ground took the shape of a yin-yang symbol with the dots inside the symbol being the portals.

While that was happening, a small sapling grew in the center of the symbol and started growing until it became a big tree filled with leaves and flowers. Among the flowers and the leaves, a small fruit filled with huge amounts of pure energy was formed.

As the two spirits representing yin-yang were looking around two more spirits appeared looking directly at the fruit.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? Space itself is twisted to the extreme in this place, you have taken this vendetta too far." asked one of them looking like a snake-looking spirit that looked like it contained the universe inside it. (A/N Like Celestialsapiens)

"I am afraid that I have to agree with Aether in this one. Your fight has twisted space-time inside this symbol, making it a place no spirit other than us can survive." commented a tortoise-looking spirit with a clock floating behind it.

"Why are you here Aether, Chronos? I thought you said you won't interfere with our battle." asked Vaatu with annoyance in his voice.

"We are here because of that fruit. It has a colossal amount of energy inside it, energy that has no attribute. Meanig that we will soon have a spirit joining our ranks." answered Chronos calmly as he looked at the fruit with interest.

"Shouldn't Thanatos and Zoi be here then? After all, life and death fall under their jurisdiction?" asked Raava with interest in her voice.

"I am afraid that is not correct, all concept-level spirits do not fall under them, we are equal after all." answered chronos

"Stop conversing with them Chronos, we must fix this place quickly otherwise the distorted enviroment will expand vanquishing a big number of spirits."

"Ok, Aether let's fix this place and call Zoi and Thanatos to look at this fruit."

[Unknown POV]

Everything is so interesting, yet confusing at the same time. I feel like I know so many things but I don't know anything. I can see but I have no eyes, I can hear but I have no ears. What am I?

"The space is finally stabilized, now no spirit will get erased by coming close."

I look towards the sound I hear. I can see nothing but I know what I would be seeing. It's confusing, as if I know everything that happened or happens without trying to know.

"These portals you two created connect the spirit world with the material world. From now on these two worlds will come in contact with one another." comments a turtle from the side.

I don't understand, how do I know that is a turtle? I have never seen one before.

[Third POV]

"We are here, what happened exactly?" Two more voices come from the side. A butterfly and a raven join the group of spirits observing me.

"Hello Zoi, Thanatos we called you here to take a look at this tree. We hope to understand what it represents. It hosts one of the concept-level spirits after all." answers Chronos as he looks at the butterfly.

"We are getting a new sibling? That's awesome. What is he going to rule over?" squeels the butterfly, clearly excited.

"We are unaware of that after all he needs to hatch in order to get control over his powers." Aether comments from the side.

"The only thing we are sure of is that he needs a colossal amount of energy to come into existence." States Raava with confidence.

"And how do you know?"

"Call it an instinct. I just know it."

"How much energy would he need exactly?" Asks Zoi with concern in her voice

"I don't know, however I believe that if Vaatu and I fight here every 10 thousand years, after approximately 100 fights would be enough."

"Hmm... I see then how about this, every 10 thousand years you two will have a fight that decides the world's fate form the next 10 thousand years in this very place. That way you will help this young one mature and solve this stupid vendetta over peace and chaos. Who agrees and who doesn't?" suggests Thanatos
