Chapter 36: Chapter 33
Mikasa, standing beside Eren, observed the grand sight before them. The streets were packed with people, all cheering and waving for the Survey Corps. The soldiers marched with confidence, their Wings of Freedom insignia shining in the sunlight.
"Look at them, Mikasa! The Survey Corps is stronger than ever!" Eren's voice brimmed with excitement. His eyes lit up as he watched the troops pass by, especially Captain Levi, whose presence commanded the utmost respect.
The memory of his mother's tragic death still burned vividly in Eren's mind. The flames of his hatred for the Titans had never dimmed. Joining the Survey Corps had been his dream since childhood, but now it was more than a dream—it was his purpose. He clenched his fists, his determination unwavering.
"Yes, they've grown much stronger," Mikasa replied, her voice calm but slightly wary. She could sense Eren's resolve, but she couldn't help worrying about the danger he would face. The thought of losing him was unbearable.
Eren, however, was undeterred. "This is our chance, Mikasa. They're preparing to reclaim Wall Maria. We'll finally take back our home."
Mikasa nodded but kept a watchful eye on him. His fervor reminded her of the pain and loss they had endured, and she vowed silently to protect him, no matter what.

Meanwhile, across the street, Ryo Akira noticed a familiar figure struggling with a heavy wooden box. It was none other than Sasha, trying her best to carry supplies for the Survey Corps.
"Hey, that box looks heavy. Let me take it," Ryo said, walking over and lifting the box effortlessly. It was packed with folding blades—essential equipment for Titan combat.
Sasha blushed slightly. "I can manage if I go slow…"
Ryo chuckled. "It's not a competition. Let me help. Besides, I've been sweating all day. If I take a break, I'll cool down."
Sasha hesitated before pulling out a handkerchief to wipe his forehead. Ryo blinked in surprise, then grinned. "Hey, you'll dirty your handkerchief."
"It's fine!" Sasha insisted, standing on her tiptoes to wipe his face clean. Her face turned crimson as she suddenly planted a quick kiss on his cheek before darting away.
Ryo froze, touching his cheek in stunned silence. A wide grin spread across his face. "She's full of surprises," he muttered, shaking his head. "Next time, I'll make sure to return the favor."
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of hoofbeats. Turning, Ryo spotted a group of riders passing by. They were none other than Levi's squad, led by the strongest soldier himself.
"Levi's Squad," Ryo murmured, recognizing their distinct formation. As they passed, the soldier with the sharp tongue muttered something about "kids these days," clearly referring to Sasha's earlier gesture. Ryo simply smirked.
