Attack On Titan 2: New Era

Kale woke up after a long nap, trying to figure out what happened.

"Sir! You woke up!"

"Are you hurt?"

"I am fine... So what happened?" asked Kale.

"Well..."

The group members explained everything to Kale on what happened a half an hour ago.

"Well, looking at this ocean before us reminds me of a certain person who always wanted to see the outside world...." said Kale, while gazing at the ocean and the sunset.

"Sir, why didn't you ordered us before to help you? Why did you took on the Cerberus on your own?"

"Because you useless people would have get yourself killed before even you could help me up."

"*Gulp*" one of the member looked a little horrified.

"Few of you are well trained but not enough to defeat such monsters like Cerberus. You all would have just gotten in my way. Besides, if I unnecessarily let you get killed then how would I explain it to the leader?" reasoned Kale.

"But sir-"

"You have still doubt on me? Look at those three stupid elite members, getting themselves injured even after using the ODM gears to chase the boy and that man named Kaiser."

Everyone went silent after hearing this.

One of the group member arrived along with someone else.

Kale noticed it and immediately asked that

"Who is that terrified looking guy? Is he one of them?"

"Sir, we found this surviving person and he seems to know that boy and Kaiser."

Kale stood up and walked near to the terrified looking person.

"So tell me, what were you guys doing here? Who is that kid and that Kaiser?" asked Kale.

"Please don't kill! I will tell you everything."

The terrified man told Kale and his group that Aldo was a slave who worked under Kaiser.

Kaiser was the leader of the group and he was like a tyrant who showed no mercy on those who deny his orders. Jack was the second or co-leader who was close to him and knew alot about him.

Aldo was one of the children who was forced to do all the works he was ordered to do.

"I see, are you telling the truth? Is that all you know?"

"Believe me, I am telling the truth! And that's all I know...p-please leave me alone... Let me go..."

"Go." replied Kale.

"Sir!?"

"Let him go, I don't have use of him. All I needed was informations." said Kale.

Hearing that, the group members let that man to away. The man started to running as soon as he was released.

"By the way, what orders we got from the leader?" asked Kale.

"It was to collect some important materials and kill anyone who is-"

Kale shoot the terrified man, who was running away, with laser gun blowing his head off.

"Indeed, it can't be helped. We have to shoot anyone on the spot unless there is some exceptions. In other words, that boy is important one..." said Kale.

"What will you next, sir?"

"It's not your position to ask this but I am planning to report everything to the leader on what happened here on the island. And also, don't ask unnecessary questions. I won't tolerate it next time. Time is essential. Understood?"

"Yes sir! I apologise for my mistakes!"

Meanwhile, Aldo and Kaiser are moving forward using the motor boat which seems to be too fast.

"At this speed, we might reach Marley territory soon. I heard this is the right direction to reach there." said Kaiser while driving the boat at full speed.

"..."

Aldo hadn't replied to Kaiser not just once but many times. He is just staring at the ocean view and the sunset.

"Hey....I know what happened to your dog....Even I feel bad....I know you were both like a family to each other and that dog was your bestfriend who always stayed by your side." said Kaiser.

"I know it is hard to forget about that dog for you... I won't blame you if you isolate yourself. But if you never overcome your grief, isolation or depression, it would be bad for your health." continued Kaiser.

"..." Aldo nodded and responded for the first time since he left the island few hours ago.

"You don't have to act tough if you are trying to show it but you can take some time. You can punch me or break my legs or another arm but I want you to recover and move on." replied Kaiser, resembling the feelings of guilt.

However, Aldo seemed to be fine now and told Kaiser that it's not his fault. Aldo seemed to be thinking about something else as well.

"I see, you might also be worried about what happened in the island, isn't it? The strange group and that shitty bastard leader." said Kaiser, understanding what Aldo wanted to discuss about.

Aldo recalled the name of that leader, he is Kale.

"Oh yeah, his name is Kale as he told us earlier... It seems like he guessed that you have some Titan power or similar power resembling to it. He seems to be interested in your powers or perhaps wants to use you for their selfish reasons." said Kaiser.

"Furthermore, they are a group of criminals or something since they broke the laws. They mentioned it themselves."

Aldo recalled that as well and thought it was strange if the laws never allowed to visit the Paradis Island.

"This group seems to have some bad intentions perhaps. We gotta be careful, they might try to target you again." said Kaiser.

"But really, I wonder how you got these similar powers. Legend has it, Ymir got her powers through a strange huge tree."

Aldo, upon hearing that from Kaiser, told him everything what happened before he got these powers.

"You mentioned it before maybe but it isn't surprising if that's the case. But I thought that power of titans were wiped out 2000 years ago, right? Then why it occurred again?"

Both Aldo and Kaiser went silent. Then suddenly, breaking the silent atmosphere Kaiser spoke once again.

"We will figure it out later, first let's try to handle our current situation. Alright kid?"

Aldo nodded in response.
