ATG: Multiversal Transmigration System

Chapter 1: The System Awakens

The once glorious Phoenix clan was located in the depths of the Ten Thousand Beast Mountain Range. The behemoth of the past was now just a shadow of its past self and what were once thousands in number, were just a group of seventy-two people today.

Their bloodline was one of the most desired possessions in the Primal Chaos, the bloodline of a God!

Thousands would fight for even a single drop of this bloodline, yet to the Phoenix clan, it had become a generational curse.

The very God that graced their ancestors with this gift cursed them for a mistake one of their ancestors made.

The curse had lasted for many centuries and the current generation was suffering from the curse as well. This curse from their god had limited the maximum cultivation level they could reach to the tenth level of the Elementary Profound Realm, which was just cannon fodders in a world where Sovereign Profound level beings existed.

If you were a part of this clan, would you still worship this God? Or Would you resent him?

Well, that was something going through Feng Tian's mind right now. He was a member of the very clan we talked about.

But he wasn't a normal person, he was a transmigrator. In his previous life, he had read about the world he was currently in. The knowledge he possessed had made him feel conflicted about his current situation.

The body's original owner had never cultivated, believing it pointless since even at his peak, he would remain weak.

Thus, he spent his entire life doing what he could to help his fellow clan members and silently passed away at the young age of fourteen.

Feng Tian possessed all the memories of the previous host as well as from his previous life.

It had been three days since he came to this world and for the past three days, he had been trying to figure out a way to survive in this chaotic world, but every way he found had no more than a ten percent chance of success.

The first idea he had was to get the Evil God's legacy before Yun Che, but he gave up as soon as he remembered the bloodthirsty child that Jasmine was.

Then he thought of defecting to the Divine Phoenix Empire, but he would most likely be killed after they got the coordinates of the legacy ground in the Blue Wind Empire.

The idea of trying to get another God's legacy did come to his mind, but remembered the trials he would have to go through with his current mortal strength, he dismissed them as well.

There wasn't any way for him to remove the curse and cultivate normally without the help of the Phoenix God. But, would pleading to that being would have any result at all?

He knew the answer to this question very well. Look at the previous generations that worshipped the Phoenix God in hopes that someday he would free them from this curse, but that never happened, did it?

'The Phoenix God is one of the biggest hypocrites in the entire series, just a bit lesser than Yun Che. He claims that he put on the curse due to one of my ancestors harming innocents, which happened by mistake.'

'But, ends up giving his legacy to an even bigger mass-murderer of this planet. Were all the millions of people Yun Che killed in his first life in the name of avenging his master, evil?'

'Nonsense, killing thirty-two thousand people in my previous world would have been punishable by death, but here? Strong killing the weak is as common as the sun rising and setting. While I do condemn it, as the God of our clan wasn't he supposed to be kinder and forgiving towards us, considering that in his prime he had destroyed billions of lives?'

'Even if that was not the case, wasn't he supposed to judge Yun Che as well? What is it with this subjective righteousness? Do the so-called morals only apply to us not to Yun Che?'

'And why? Because he's the inheritor of the Heretic God?'

'He even went as far as to help Yun Che when he was crippled even after knowing the countless lives he took in the Realm of Gods.'

'Phoenix God is not some Divine Righteous being and no True God was like that, but this fried chicken of a God claimed to be one. All he is is a hypocrite who is far stronger than me. And in this world the words of the strong are righteous.'

'It's not like I care about this facade. The strong can do whatever they want, but the only reason I am even contemplating this is because of a single fact, and that is....

....I am weak.'

'Is there no other way than waiting for the protagonist to come and free me from this curse?'

Just when Feng Tian was about to resign to his fate, a mechanical voice rang in his mind

[Ding! The Multiversal Transmigration System has been activated!]

[Would you like to have more information about the system?]

[Yes/No]

Feng Tian hesitated for a moment, wondering if this was some cruel trick. But the translucent blue screen before his eyes felt undeniably real. With nothing left to lose, he clicked 'Yes.'

He was familiar with this trope and did not doubt the existence of the system for even a second.

The moment he pressed the Yes button, a wave of information was passed into the depths of his mind as he understood how the system worked.

"Now, I also have a way of survival in this world."

Feng Tian opened the Travel tab in the system and saw that he had two chances to travel.

As his finger hovered over the 'Start Journey' button, Feng Tian took a deep breath. The moment he pressed it, the world around him dissolved into darkness, and he felt himself falling, weightless, into the unknown
