Chapter 10: Stranger
Hello everyone, sorry for the delay! I decided to add a new character to the story, and here he is. I've been thinking about how I want him to be, plus I was busy finishing Dragon Ball Super. I finally watched it all! I'll start posting more often; hopefully, I'll release two more today if I'm lucky.

Asta wandered aimlessly around the area, not knowing what to do with himself. Today, he had a rare day off—a whole day with no training! At first, he felt a bit strange, since this kind of leisure was unusual for him, but he decided that rest was important, too. "If I don't give my body a break, it'll just start giving out," he thought. And what kind of future Wizard King would he be then?
Walking along the village paths, Asta looked thoughtfully ahead, with Secre nestled comfortably on his head. Over the past two years, the village had changed significantly, and he had a hand in that. Asta actively supported village life with his hunting trophies. Sometimes, he brought back large animals, whose meat fed the village, while their hides were used for clothing. Gradually, rumors of his success spread around, and merchants began visiting more often, eager to buy his catches for good money.
However, money didn't mean much to Asta. He was and remained a simple village guy who found it hard to think of what to do with all that wealth. In the end, he decided to hand everything over to Father Orsi, who gladly took on the task. First, he repaired the church, making it bright and cozy. Now, there was more room for children in need of help and new beds where orphans could sleep warm and comfortably. The remaining funds went toward the village's needs, and the lives of the locals improved considerably.
Asta felt proud of all this. But pride quickly turned to boredom, and, not knowing what to do, he decided to take a walk in the nearby forest. That forest had always been a place of solitude for him, where he could train away from everyone.
But as he approached the dark, dense trees, his ears picked up something unusual. Ahead, between the trees, he heard loud shouting—piercing and distinctly human! Asta immediately tensed, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. "Could someone be in trouble?" he thought, instantly forgetting about resting. Could it be someone he knew?
Wasting no time, he rushed toward the sound, and the closer he got, the more clearly he heard words that didn't sound like ordinary cries for help:
— AHH, feckin' hell! I'm stuck down 'ere, ya gobshites! Can somebody bleedin' help me outta dis damn hole?! Christ above, why's it always me, huh? Ya bunch o' eegits, get yer arses over 'ere! Me leg's twisted like a feckin' pretzel!
Asta froze for a moment—those were words you didn't hear every day. Puzzled, he approached the pit from which the shouts were coming. Inside was a man in green, who noticed Asta and immediately yelled with even more enthusiasm:
— Oi, lad! Over 'ere! Holy feck, you're a lifesaver, ya legend! Listen, either help me outta dis bleedin' hole, or go get an adult, alright? Don't just stand dere, kid, I'm stuck like a feckin' fool down 'ere! Go on, be a good lad, an' get someone who can pull me out!
Asta was once again surprised by his loud voice, but without wasting time, he decided to help. However, first, he asked:
— What happened, anyway?
The stranger suddenly blurted out:
— I'm fuckin' stranded with me condoms, help me out!
Asta raised an eyebrow in surprise. You didn't hear words like that every day. The boy couldn't quite understand what this odd fellow meant, but Secre, sitting on his head, understood all too well. She froze in shock at first, not believing her ears. "What?! In front of a child?! Did he really say that?!"
Realizing she had heard correctly, Secre blushed furiously with embarrassment, then, in a fit of rage, flew off Asta's head, spread her wings, and dived at the stranger. Cawing indignantly, she started pecking him on the head, while he covered himself with his hands, trying to dodge.
— Oi, oi, that's fuckin' painful! Stop it, ye fuckin' bird! What the hell's wrong wit' ye?! Goddamn, dis is bollocks! Get the fuck off me, ye eejit! Ye motherfucker, I swear ta God, if ye don't stop, I'll lose me shit!
Asta stood above the pit, slightly bewildered, trying to hold back his laughter as he watched the scene unfold.
