Chapter 56: Chapter 56 (R18+)
Note:
- Fair warning Erlend comes off as a bit 'dark' in this one at the beginning. He's a reincarnator with god-like powers and a paranoia complex, he was never going to be a good person to begin with.
- This chapter contains sexual content, if you are not interested in its contents or are underage, you may skip the parts marked as R18+, you have been warned.

(Erlend Mudd, Pyke Ruins)
"So it isn't you…"
The admittedly impressive structure that once stood in this place was gone, by his hand or his dragons to be precise.
He felt nothing, neither pity nor empathy for those who fell because of his actions, in the end, all he did was stand aside and let them make the decision that doomed them all. The Ironborn chose war and he gave them it with a fervor unseen by all.
Foolish as it was, he at least respected their bravery to stand against him, as misguided as it was.
Turning his gaze to the sea, Erlend searched for any sign of supernatural activity, yet barely anything could be felt. The drowned god's spiritual consciousness had been here briefly, as Erlend could make out small tremors of divine energy about, though nothing to indicate serious activity.
It seemed like the deity only wanted to understand what had occured.
The precision and power needed to make such an impressive guise for the would-be assassin meant that it also required a significant amount of divine energy, which was absent from this location and the islands as a whole.
Erlend's orders hadn't helped; by destroying the god's temples, he had further blocked the deity's ability to act in the mortal plane. While the deity might have begun the process elsewhere, it wouldn't have been able to reach the level needed, had the drowned god done it in the Iron Isles.
This left only the horse god, who still had a strong presence in the world either due to the fear his followers inspired or the fervor worship they showed him. A god who many knew little about, with most knowledge about him coming from the unreliable Dothraki and their oral traditions.
Another thing to note, was the assassin had indeed traveled to Essos, further supporting that theory.
Erlend had entertained the possibility of the Ghiscari being involved, something that wasn't out of the question, due to the dragon's role in the fall of Old Ghis, but it was unlikely any of the Ghis divines themselves could make a move.
His confidence in this stemmed from a visit to New Ghis during his tenure in Essos, where there was a distinct lack of divine energy in any of their temples. Even the Starry Sept had weak divine energy permeating about. This suggested that the Valyrian gods had wiped out their ancient rivals after destroying their empire.
Cruel, but extremely practical. Valyria had taken everything from the Ghiscari, even their slaving ways, it would be foolish not to finish the job, not if there wasn't any advantage in doing so.
New Ghis wasn't entirely innocent. The nobles probably aided the Warlocks through materials and opening communication channels between them and the 'assassin'.
Since extracting his shadows from the horse fuckers camps for their safety, Erlend had been receiving less information on their movements. His imprints were the only thing he could use and that was limited due to how far the distance between him and them, and their ability to get close enough without being killed as a game for the savages.
It did make him miss his old phone, to be honest.
He was already covering a whole continent with his imprints, doing so for another continent placed a troublesome burden on him, thank the old man for his children, otherwise he'd be sucked dry.
Nothing mattered in the end, this ploy between the Warlocks and the surprisingly devious horse was interesting but expanded too much power for him to be a threat at the moment.
Naturally, he was already preparing to forever cripple the Horse's power just as had been done with the drowned god, making it a non-factor soon enough.
His men were already hunting down the remaining warlocks' trail, if the Ghiscari were truly providing support, then finding the last remnants shouldn't be too difficult for his imprints and shadows.
Letting them go was also a benefit in itself, if they did as he suspected, in a few years time, Erlend would be completely rid of his most troublesome mortal foes. No… Gazing northwards and knowing what awaited him there, he felt alive. His blood pumping and muscles itching to let loose, it was only a matter of time.
Getting a hold of himself and glancing back at the ruins, Erlend was reminded of the only good thing he did for the squids. Obliviating the Greyjoy girl was the best thing he could do for her, without outright killing her and alienating his only competent administrator in the region.
With nearly everyone who'd recognize and use her, either dead or in the process of dying, nothing was threatening about her. After much deliberation, Erlend had wiped her memories clean, chucked her to old Harlaw, and forced him and his living kin to sign a contract that binds their loyalty and silence towards him.
It was as good as they'd get if they wanted to live and be happy.
At the moment, as far as anyone and even herself was concerned, she was just Harlaw's bastard daughter. The madwoman Alannys helped solidify the claim by taking on the role of her 'mother' to deal with the grief of losing all her children.
Tragic and all that, but nothing too shocking. Not to mention that many were more accepting of bastards these days out of necessity. Profit and opportunity can make even the most disdainful and rigid people happy to change their views, that was just how the world worked.
Disgust filled him as he was reminded of just how lacking in magical power the Greyjoy blood was, of all the squids, only Euron's blood was worth using and that was due to the man's unique compatibility with various supernatural elements.
Sure all those elements leaned to the more questionable side of magic, but it was still useful for experimentation. Soon enough, he might be able to place a thorough bloodline curse on anyone that pissed him off.
Hell, even that sacrifice he used during the ritual had a higher concentration of Hoare blood than most Greyjoys.
Frankly, it was pathetic, they were just as useless dead as they were alive.
…
(Ashara Dayne, Firmridge)
"You want the honest answer, it's magic Starborn… Your family should be familiar with it, considering your heritage."
Those words constantly rang through her mind as she walked away.
Ashara was not one for deep thinking, but it felt oddly calming due to her current situation. She had asked Erlend what happened to her, and why she felt so invigorated after every deed they committed and that had been his response.
His words about her heritage and family confused her for a bit, not knowing what it had to do with the aftermath of their copulations. Erlend simply pointed her to the library and told her to look for it herself.
Muttering under her breath, "Fucking asshole." She eventually succumbed to her curiosity and headed to the library.
It was filled with so many books and tomes that Ashara was confident that it easily dwarfed the one in Starfall. What surprised her more was just how the Mudds managed to fill it up so quickly.
Firmridge was technically a new seat after all, and the Whents had been allowed to take everything, including their library to the new territories bestowed upon them. It was astonishing considering how long it tended to take to fill a library of this size.
Decades if not centuries in fact.
In the end, she couldn't care about that for long as she found several tomes covering not only her own House but that of the Hightowers and Starks as well. Why were they in Mudd's possession? She couldn't answer that.
"Maybe Malora helped?" Speaking her thoughts out loud, Ashara looked at the sizeable tomes in front of her with trepidation.
Unsurprisingly there was mention of the well-known fact that House Dayne, Hightower, and Stark were some of, if not the oldest major families in Westeros. Sure there were some families here and there that shared a similar longevity, but they were too minor to pay much attention to.
It was something every single Lord or member of the stated Houses had boasted about without fail. Not a generation went by without these three Houses talking someone's ear off about it.
The Durrandons of today for one also technically shared that status, but there was much debate in that, since many regarded them as a cadet branch of the original, and thus ineligible despite recovering their name.
What she did not expect was several excerpts mentioning the fact that all these Houses, including the old Stags and the Casterlys, were heavily involved with each other during the days of the infamous Long Night.
This was surprising, since very little was known about the Lannister's predecessors, and the idea that they kept contact with her House, seemed almost fantastical.
The Durrandons on the other hand were the most odd, since they were the most violent of the ancient Houses, preferring war over diplomacy most of the time. So having what was claimed to be as passable relations with the other Houses came off as ridiculous to most.
At first, she didn't place much care on it, as far as she was concerned these were just legends and superstitions that the book provided little evidence of, rather she was more interested in trying to find any information focused on this mysterious magic Erlend referred to.
However, her focus shifted as she went more in-depth.
---
House Dayne has always stood out from the rest of Westeros, from their unnatural beauty to their ancient heritage and even their near-guaranteed proficiency with the way of the sword.
No House has confounded Maesters as this mysterious noble line has, some even whisper of pacts with the divine or deals made with the demons of the old. Regardless, what can be confirmed is that this House holds terrible secrets that should not be uttered. One detail that must be taken into consideration, is the mysterious sword Dawn, which is said to have affected their line in ways not known to any. Whatever it did to the Daynes, there is no question that the blade has served them well in their long history.
---
Ashara didn't know why, but one line stood out to her above all.
'the mysterious sword Dawn, which is said to have affected their line in ways not known to any'
Her instincts screamed to her about the importance of these words, unlike the pacts or deals which she had scoffed at, these words seemed more accurate to her. As if she had stumbled upon the key to it all.
She was sure that she would find the answer in Starfall, where Dawn lay, waiting for its next wielder. The full answer was with the greatsword, she just didn't know if she wanted to find out.
What troubled Ashara more, were new questions that came to mind, "Why do the Mudds hold this information, and who exactly wrote this?"
…
(Erlend Mudd)
"I'm surprised she never bothered to look through her family's true history before."
"You really can't talk Lya, it's not like you were bothered to look up your House's history," Erlend said.
His lover looked indignant at his words, "I was busy, who has time to finish some boring old tomes." The She-wolf tried to defend herself.
Erlend understood well enough Ashara's reasoning for not doing so after the war, she did after all have to run House Dayne's territories on behalf of her nephew, all the while stewing on her past regrets.
There were also her past attempts to get her brother free, most were pretty pathetic, some were hilarious and others were just silly. Did she think offering to kill Darkstar was going to be worth anything? He could do it himself, why the hell would he need her help?
Truthfully, few of the aristocracy alive today even knew a smidgen of their ancestor's accomplishments, and that was a shame considering just how impressive they tended to be.
Good thing it wasn't that difficult for him to sneak into their seats and copy their oldest and most precious tomes for his personal use. Someone needed to show some appreciation for the glories and lessons of the past and if they weren't doing it, he would do so on their behalf.
It also provided a lot of interesting information that helped close the historical gaps that largely remained a mystery to most. Erlend could proudly boast that he had one of the most complete historical compilations in this world.
Unfortunately, if he actually went ahead and did so, it would probably start a rebellion, so best to keep that under wraps.
Lyanna looked at him strangely, "You could've just told her outright, you know."
"Where's the fun in that, often it's the journey that truly matters, more so than the destination." He spoke enigmatically.
The unimpressive stare of his lover did not change whatsoever, clearly judging him for his antics.
Erlend, not one to take things lying down, immediately grabbed the Stark lady and threw her over his shoulders, displeased by her audacity to question his perfect reasoning.
Her response was to lightly scratch him on his back, trying to force him to let her down, much to no avail. As if he would do something so silly as that, it was high time Erlend spent more time with his wolfish partner.
A good nice smack on her impressive derriere quickly put an end to her resistance, though the moan she let out was music to his ears.
She needed some affection he could tell. Seeing her family again had made her happy, but had also reminded her of past mistakes. Mistakes that continue to haunt her to this day.
He needed to distract this woman and make her happy again.
As for Ashara, if she wanted to truly understand just how deep her family's background went, then she needed to make this discovery herself. Erlend himself had not been surprised at the revelations, but he knew they would be life-changing for his gorgeous star sapphire.
After all, it was common for many people in his past life to theorize about the Dayne's and their past. Confirming that they did indeed have a legendary background was just a formality at this point.
To think, sex was what motivated this little knowledge hunt for his newest lover, how apt. Truly the words 'What a time to be alive!' had never felt so appropriate.
…
(R18+ Incoming)
Lyanna wrapped her hands around his length, his tip still protruding from her grasp, demanding her sole attention.
The woman's tongue lavished its attention on his swollen head, drawing out his pre-cum onto her lips, and taking undeniable pleasure from indulging her lover. At the same time, her hands moved in tandem, traveling up and down his lower head, doing their best to push him further. She stared up at him with lidded eyes.
Erlend did not remain motionless, his hands trailing through her curves, sending pleasurable shocks to her body and keeping her close. Occasionally palming her breasts and squeezed her backside at random intervals, bringing out moans from her throat that sent vibrations at his length.
Lyanna's mouth diligently worked over his length, slowly taking him in deeper with every breath. Her saliva coated his length in an attempt to go as far as possible and the sound of her oral ministrations echoed around the usually silent chamber.
It was an incredibly erotic sight that further raised his arousal, his moans, and grunts indicating his satisfaction.
Sensing his length nearing its climax, her head bobbed up and down more speedily as she serviced his length, increasing her pace, whilst letting out more moans of desire. The combination of her ministrations and the vibrations coming from her throat as she serviced his cock was enough to bring him to his end.
His release exploded like a downpour, with Lyanna refusing to let go, wanting to taste everything he had to give, for him to fill her to the brink, and she wouldn't stop until she swallowed it all much to his arousal.
It didn't take long for him to harden once more with arousal, as he watched his lover help everything down. His cock reared up to go as if it hadn't just released ropes of liquid down his lover's throat moments ago.
Satisfied with her ministrations to his lower half, Lyanna grinned at him with a mischievous glint, her eyes practically smiling at him much to the young King's amusement.
Erlend watched as his lover gently left his grasp and raised herself, carefully positioning herself in preparation for her next move. All too happy to let her continue taking charge, if only to see where she intended to go with this.
Tracing her finger playfully across his bare chest, Lyanna let out an uncharacteristically seductive grin. "Get ready, Lenny... I'm going to rock your world." She purred, her expression brimming with lust as she stared at him challengingly.
With an arched eyebrow, "By all means, Lya. Go ahead." Erlend looked at his lover with anticipation, realizing her intent.
Once sure, she was in position, the infamous she-wolf dropped herself abruptly on her lover's length. Immediately penetrating her surprisingly slick yet tight backdoor.
"Someone came prepared," he growled out, driving deeper into his earnest partner, and stretching her walls that struggled to accommodate his cock.
Lyanna cried out in pleasure as Erlend filled her, his size pushing deeper into her the more she moved. "FUCK! It feels so good, FUUUUUCCCCCK... you're breaking my ass." she moaned, her voice getting louder the more he went at it.
Not wanting to hurt his lover, Erlend carefully gripped her ample backside easing his length into her at a much more controlled pace.
The pleasure of her tight depths squeezing him even harder, regardless of what he did, and refusing to let go. Despite that, he didn't let the ungodly grip get to him, as he allowed his lover's formerly virgin hole to adjust to his length and new feeling.
With his hands expertly massaging her backside, and her tight walls getting used to the feeling of being penetrated, the ever-impatient Lyanna did not hesitate to forcefully speed up their movement, wanting him to go harder.
The mixture of pain and pleasure sent her to climax as she came abruptly. Her slit gushing and her fluids spreading all over the bed. Once he was sure she was no longer out of it, Erlend thrust right into his lover with a ferocity that sent the recovering woman into a second climax. Not letting her get her bearings as he retook back control from her.
Thrusting even harder into her, Erlend delighted in just how tight she felt. "Fuck, we aren't stopping." he let out.
Her response was just as fierce, "I never told you to stop, FUCK! HARDER YOU HANDSOME BASTARD!" She screamed, whilst moaning into his shoulders, barely getting a hold over herself.
Taking her challenge head-on, Erlend let out another grin, pausing only momentarily to stare right into her eyes, before directly piercing her again.
Her moans were like music to his ears, as she simultaneously cursed and praised him.
Their voices echoed throughout the chamber.
