Arkham Knight: Reborn in Marvel as Bruce Wayne

Chapter 1: Chapter One: A New Beginning

I leaned back in my chair, wiping the sweat from my brow as the final piece of the device clicked into place. The glow of the machine cast eerie shadows on the lab walls, bathing the room in pulsating light. My masterpiece stood before me—a towering amalgamation of science, desperation, and pure genius. It had taken years, countless hours of research, and sacrifices I didn't care to recall. But it was done.

The voice of the AI I had programmed rang out, calm and clinical. "World selection interface active. Please specify the desired destination."

I cracked a smile. "Marvel. Upload the files."

The screen lit up, flashing as terabytes of data—every storyline, every character, every hidden gem of information I had meticulously gathered—streamed into the system. Years of my obsession poured into the machine, reshaping my future.

The AI confirmed the upload with a beep. "Marvel Universe parameters received. Specify physical attributes for host body."

I paused. This was the fun part. "Male, fourteen years old," I said, the words coming easily. "Peak human condition. Name... Bruce Wayne."

The irony wasn't lost on me. Bruce Wayne, the Dark Knight, reborn in a world of gods, mutants, and cosmic forces. I grinned at the thought. But I wasn't done.

"Activate Project Solaris," I commanded.

The screen flickered. "Upload genetic enhancements from Solaris Protocol?"

"Confirmed. Add the X-Gene template for Kryptonian physiology. No weaknesses."

It was my ultimate cheat code. Why rely on mutant abilities alone when I could merge them with the indomitable power of Superman? No kryptonite, no red sun limitations—just raw, unstoppable power.

The AI hummed in approval. "Gene sequence integrated. Initiating wealth transfer. Please confirm account routing."

I typed in the details with a flourish. Billions stashed away, hidden in untraceable accounts. I wasn't about to live this new life like the first one—scraping by, clawing for survival. No, this time I'd have every advantage.

"Transfer complete. Host body synthesis at 98%."

I stood, taking a final look around the lab. This world had nothing left for me. I had outlived its meaning, outthought its challenges, outlasted its hope. It was time to leave.

The machine emitted a low hum as it powered up, the light intensifying. The AI's voice echoed one last time. "Step into the transfer chamber and initiate the rebirth process."

I hesitated, my fingers brushing the cool edge of the control panel. There was a strange sense of finality in this moment. I wasn't afraid—fear had long since left me. No, what I felt was... liberation.

"Goodbye, old world," I muttered as I stepped into the chamber.

The door slid shut behind me, sealing me inside a cocoon of light. I took a deep breath and entered the final command.

"Execute."

The machine roared to life, a cacophony of energy and motion. A searing heat tore through me, and for a brief moment, pain surged—a sensation so overwhelming that even my enhanced mind couldn't process it.

And then, nothing.

Darkness. Silence.

I blinked. My body felt... different. Lighter. Stronger. I flexed my fingers and looked down. They weren't the hands I remembered—youthful, unscarred, full of potential.

A voice startled me. "Mr. Wayne! Are you okay?"

I turned to see a young woman—blonde, mid-twenties—staring at me with wide eyes. I was sitting at a chair in Wayne Manor. I closed my eyes and breathed as I let my memories flow back into my head as I turned to the blonde woman, it seems in this world instead of Butlar I have a secretary. Alice Pennyworth.

Though, that does give me an idea for the future to create an A.I like Jarvis that would be far more powerful, I think the name Alfred would suit it well.

Now I had made sure to add everything about Wayne family in my new life, if I was going to be Bruce Wayne than I couldn't just be some random kid. Though that meant that I had to deal with several problems... unlike in DC, Wayne Enterprises was small. A company overshadowed by Stark Industries, actually in this world Wayne Enterprise is not even at the level of Stark Industries yet. We are a simple Interprise that owns several failing companies.

Now you may be wondering why I din't just make Wayne Enterprise as grand as Stark? It was so I could build up the company myself and watch it grow instead of inputting some cheat codes to make my life a breeze. Well that also ment that those on the board of my comapny have been stealing money and not even doing their jobs, and of course young depressed Bruce let it all happen cause his parents had die. Welp no longer!

My lips curled into a smirk. "Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, my voice steady and unfamiliar, I looked down at my hands once more before standing and fixing my clothes. "Alice scedule a meeting with the board of Wayne Enterprise. I am taking back my company."
