They knew what their objective was and didn't panick , they had already been ready to use their ODM gear anytime on the off chance that their horses tripped or something.

5-10 metre Titans came after them , and although none were running they were still fast enough to keep up the chase.

Suddenly the sharp sound of cables being launched was heard along with the sound of flesh being torn apart.

Dust was blown up along with a loud crashing sound as the Titans suddenly fell to the ground.

The Scout regiment members had relieved smiles on their faces as they gazed at their Team Leader.

'And that's a job well done' Siegfried gave himself a pat on the back as a stood on top of the steaming titan corpses.

He decided to go back to their temporary camp since he had already cleared out all of the Titan's in this region and this batch was the last of them.

" Good job as always guys " Siegfried shouted to his subordinates causing them to let out relieved cheers.

It was perfect expedition as always with minimal casualties and none of his team members died but there were still some among the new recruits.

Siegfried can't save them all and he still wasn't fast enough to be everywhere and even if he revealed his true strength , he doubted they would trust him again.

Maybe Erwin and Levi would place their trust in him along with Hange but the trouble that would come along with it would be something that he wouldn't want to deal with.

He was done being a selfless Hero long ago , he had his goals and desires and sometimes sacrifices had to be made.....

Siegfried was standing under a shower as he let the water droplets fall on his body.

Due to him slaying a lot of Titans the scout regiment was able to establish secure bases outside of the walls and this was one of them.

Some habits take a long time to get rid of and he in particular always felt bad about the lives lost on the expedition.

He wondered if he had used all of his strength then would these people have survived. After every expedition he would be plagued by this thought.

Suddenly Siegfried felt a presence behind him but he wasn't alarmed as he knew who they were.
