Chapter 32 A Distraught Show Producer and the Start of a Hospital Power Struggle!
“Man, Big Brother is merciless, isn’t he? Haha, this is insane!”
“One million, two million, three million, four million… Oh my God, the budget is going up in flames!”
“666, whoever was trash-talking Big Brother must be shell-shocked right now, huh?”
“Getting married? Our Big Brother is putting on a stunt show for you. Sounds fair, right?”
In Wang Yun’s livestream, the atmosphere was electric. Audience members were ecstatically counting the escalating budget and poking fun at the wedding convoy.

Simultaneously, in a room adjacent to the command center room, a staff member watched the livestream viewer count continue to rise.
“Whoa, Producer, our budget is on fire, but so is our viewer count. Haha, this is awesome.”
He clenched his fists in exhilaration and cheered toward the executive producer. However, when he looked at the producer, he noticed the arm holding the cigarette was trembling.
“Ten million.”
“Eleven million.”
“Twelve million…”
He mumbled to himself, his cigarette slowly dropping onto his lap without him even noticing. Soon, smoke started rising from his pants, catching fire.
“Producer, you’re on fire, literally on fire!” The staff member quickly pointed at the producer’s smoking pants and yelled.
“Yes, it’s burning. My heart is bleeding. The cost is spiraling out of control,” the producer said. His expression was vacant, his face a mask of despair. Gone was the calm and composed demeanor from just moments before.
When the budget had only burned through two million, the executive producer hadn’t blinked an eye. But now they were looking at an expense of at least over ten million. This was no small sum, and the entire production team was feeling the financial strain.
Strangely enough, the producer still seemed utterly composed, even with his pants literally on fire. A paragon of calm under pressure, indeed.

“Damn, holy crap!”
“This guy is so freaking cool.”
“Yes! That’s what you get for blocking the Stree. Woohoo, let’s fly, Wooho!”
“Hey, you, stop! What the hell do you think you’re doing? Pay for the car!”
The atmosphere on the street turned to chaos. Gloating sounds came from the drivers caught in the tailback, countered by the angry shouts and roars from the members of the wedding convoy.
Wang Yun pushed off on his skateboard and swiftly navigated through the entire convoy before accelerating ahead. Due to the roadblock created by the wedding cars, the road in front of him was completely clear, devoid of any vehicles.
This allowed his speed to skyrocket in an instant.
Behind him, a group of ten motorcyclists had just caught up to the tail end of the wedding convoy.
As Wang Yun sped along, he was keenly observing his surroundings. Three minutes later, he spotted a building and an idea flashed through his mind. He immediately vaulted over the railing, tossed his skateboard to the roadside, and sprinted forward.
He was heading toward a hospital, the largest municipal hospital in Nancheng.
Wang Yun knew he had to evade the cameras and find a hiding spot as soon as possible.
The delay caused by the wedding convoy had bought him only a limited amount of time. Those ten motorcycles were bound to catch up eventually. So he had no choice but to find a place to lie low.
The hospital was an ideal location for that. It was bustling with people, and not every nook and cranny had a surveillance camera. Wang Yun dashed into the hospital, scanning his surroundings with calculated calm as he looked for a place to hide.
Meanwhile, in the command center room, Zhang Xingchen was monitoring the situation. With a stern and focused expression, he spoke into the microphone, “Ahao, Saomao, the target has entered the municipal hospital roughly 500 meters ahead of you. He’s disappeared from our surveillance. Get to the hospital as fast as you can and lock down all the exits. He hasn’t gotten far yet.”
“Understood, Captain. You take care of the external surveillance, we’ll be there within two minutes, tops,” came Saomao’s response over the speaker.
“Very well,” Zhang Xingchen acknowledged, his eyes never leaving the monitor.
The room was tense, everyone else remained silent, their eyes fixed on the screens.
Those watching the live broadcast began to chime in on the situation.
“I have to say, that Wang Yun guy is incredibly skilled.”
“Not just skilled, he’s practically a force of nature. I’ve tuned into his livestream, he’s currently inside the hospital.”
“The odds of capturing Wang Yun now are dwindling, maybe 50% if we’re lucky, and even that seems optimistic.”
Seconds turned into minutes, and time continued to slip away.
Two minutes later, Chen Minghao, Saomao, and their team swiftly arrived at the hospital, their faces etched with seriousness.
“I’ll head to the hospital’s surveillance room to track down Wang Yun. The squad leaders should first lockdown and scout the hospital’s perimeter to prevent him from escaping. Everyone else, sweep through the building, floor by floor,” instructed one of the officers.
Chen Minghao and Saomao nodded in agreement. Organized and resolute, the twelve-member team sprang into action.

“By now, they must have arrived. They’ll definitely lock down the hospital and look at the surveillance. The amount of cameras in this hospital is neither sparse nor excessive,” Wang Yun mused to himself.
Simultaneously, he reached the hospital’s second floor, carefully observing the placement of surveillance cameras. Once he had a general idea of their locations, he deliberately began evading them.
The hospital was bustling with patients and family members. Wang Yun’s keen eyes swept across the crowd, picking up various bits of information. When he spotted a staff room, he took a quick look inside. Moments later, he re-emerged, transformed. He was now clad in a white lab coat, a mask covering his face, and a medical cap on his head.
Wang Yun looked around before heading toward the upper floors. As his gaze scanned the area, he found no suitable place to hide, prompting a slight frown. He made for the stairs to go back down.
“Seal of the stairs and elevators. We have to capture him,” a voice rang out just then.
The words caused Wang Yun’s face to shift ever so slightly. He spun on his heels and headed back upstairs.
