Chapter 254: Leila's Progress
[: 3rd POV :]
In the world of modern fantasia, where magic and technology intertwined, there stood a lone figure atop a windswept hill, her silhouette framed against a blood-red sky.
Below her was a chaotic scene of monstrous beings, their hulking forms capable of razing entire cities.
These were Transcendent Monsters, creatures where players didn't dare to challenge even if they were Transcendent.
Yet, amid the turmoil, Leila stood unflinching, a calm smile appeared at her lips.
Her eyes gleamed with an eerie confidence as she gazed down at the horde.
Most players would have turned back or called for reinforcements, knowing full well that such beasts were not to be faced alone.
But Leila was no ordinary player.
She tightened her grip, raising her right hand slowly as dark energy coiled around her fingers like living shadows.
"Negative Atomic," she murmured, her voice barely a whisper yet carrying an ominous weight.
In an instant, the world seemed to hold its breath.
A pulse of black energy erupted from her clenched fist, a wave of pure destruction rippling outward.
The ground beneath her feet cracked and trembled as the dark wave expanded, swallowing everything in its path.
It streaked across the battlefield, distorting the very air with its malevolent power.
The monsters, towering and grotesque, barely had time to react.
Their roars of fury turned to cries of terror as the wave washed over them.
A heartbeat later, silence fell.
Where once there had been a mass of titanic creatures capable of bringing kingdoms to their knees, now there was only emptiness.
The monstrous army was gone, annihilated in the blink of an eye, reduced to nothing by Leila's sheer force.
Not a single remnant remained to suggest that such powerful beasts had ever existed.
Leila lowered her hand, the faint remnants of the dark energy dissipating into the air like wisps of smoke.
She stood alone atop the hill, her expression unchanging as if wiping out an entire horde of Transcendent Monsters was nothing more than a trivial task and afterwards, she smirked.
Leila stood tall, but she was far from alone.
Behind her was a group of followers, a diverse assembly of warriors, mages, and strategists who had pledged themselves to her cause.
Their gazes were locked on her in a mixture of awe and trepidation, eyes widening at the spectacle of power she had just unleashed.
Though they revered her as their leader, there was no denying the fear that simmered beneath their admiration.
After all, Leila wasn't just another leader barking orders from the safety of the rear lines.
No, Leila was the type to stride into battle herself, leaving destruction in her wake.
With the backing of her son, Daniel, she had gained powers that bordered on the unimaginable.
Much of her strength had been bolstered by the gifts and resources Daniel provided.
Thoses priceless treasures, rare artifacts, and ancient grimoires brimming with forbidden knowledge.
And so, as they stood there, watching the dark remnants of the vanquished monsters fade into the wind, a chill ran through the ranks.
They had known her strength in theory, but to see it firsth since some of them were their first time and to witness her erase an entire army of Transcendent Monsters with a single spell was something else entirely.
Their allegiance to her was firm, but the unspoken truth lingered in their minds: to oppose Leila, even for a moment, would be to court a swift and certain death.
With Daniel's support and her own ruthless determination, she was becoming more than a leader.
She was becoming a being above mortal.
[: You have killed 3000 Transcendent Monsters...
The aftermath of Leila's spell was nothing short of breathtaking.
The black wave of energy had seemed to devour the entire battlefield, and then, in a sudden blinding flash, it condensed into a searing, radiant light.
The monstrous forms below her, beings that had once been feared across the land for their unassailable strength, were reduced to nothing but drifting motes of ash.
Their death cries were drowned out, silenced by the brilliance of her power.
All that remained were shimmering drops—loot and treasures left behind, glinting on the charred earth.
But as the light faded and silence fell, something strange occurred.
Amid the desolation, a soft glow began to coalesce in the center of the battlefield, visible only to Leila.
It started small, a mere speck of luminescence, but swiftly grew, gathering into a swirling mass of radiant energy.
It shimmered with an otherworldly brilliance, like a miniature sun blazing against the dark sky.
Leila's gaze remained fixed on it, unflinching.
She knew exactly what it was.
It was the essence of power.
Slowly, inexorably, the mass of light drifted upward, spiraling toward her.
And then, with a blinding burst, it surged forward and fused into her being, vanishing into her chest in of dazzling sparks.
A surge of raw energy flooded her veins.
Leila's eyes blazed, her body trembling momentarily as her power swelled.
Her stats skyrocketed, all of it spiked to heights that would leave even the most seasoned warriors in stunned disbelief.
But that was not all.
There was a shift, a subtle rearranging of her very soul.
The essence she absorbed wasn't just increasing her physical attributes.
It was gifting her something more.
Fragments of the monsters' abilities, their skills, all of it melded seamlessly into her being.
This was the result of her blessing, one so rare and coveted that it bordered on absurdity.
With each creature she slew, Leila did not merely claim victory, she consumed their essence, their strengths and abilities becoming her own.
It was a power that defied reason, turning her into a being capable of destroying worlds if she so desired.
A monster that grew stronger with every battle, absorbing and assimilating until there was nothing left that could stand against her.
As the light faded and her aura stabilized, she stood transformed, her entire presence radiating a majesty that made even the bravest of her followers take an involuntary step back.
In that moment, Leila seemed more than human.
Her very demeanor, her calm gaze and the subtle, confident smile playing on her lips, was no longer that of a mortal being.
It was as if she were a goddess descended from the heavens, surveying the world of lesser beings with an aloof grace.
Everything about her, the way she stood, the way she moved, exuded an otherworldly presence, a reminder that she was far beyond the reach of ordinary men.
To her followers, she was not just a leader; she was a divine force, a being whose power eclipsed everything they had ever known. Experience tales at m v|l e'm,p| y- r
And as they looked up at her in silent reverence, one thought rang clear in their minds: Leila was no longer bound by the limits of humanity.
She was something more, a transcendent entity who stood at the precipice of godhood, staring down at the world that now seemed so small beneath her feet.
Moreover, the ultimate skill she had received from Daniel was a powerful one that already made her standout.

This utlimate skill was so broken that Leila was unstoppable in her marching.
It's not wrong to call herself a goddess as her abilities were far beyond what any Players could hope to obtain.
But it wasn't just because of this that makes her unstoppable.
Her Unique Class, Eternal Mother had evolved and she had obtained skills that were nonsensical.
It literally doesn't make sense at all in terms of how powerful it is.
It was too the point that she herself is a bug in a game that souldn't exist at all.
