Chapter 245: The Beast of Time
[: 3rd POV :]
With the power of Seraph of the End coursing through his veins, Daniel felt an overwhelming sense of confidence as he faced the beast.
With his control over Spirit, Chaos, Void, and Space, Daniel wasted no time in launching his attack.
With a mere thought, he manipulated the fabric of space itself, closing the distance between himself and the beast in the blink of an eye.
In the next instant, Daniel's fist, imbued with the chaotic energies of Chaos and the consuming darkness of the Void, collided with the beast's form with bone-crushing force.
A sinister aura surrounded his fist as it made contact, shattering the very essence of the beast's defences.
The impact of the blow was devastating, causing the void to crack and fracture, tearing through the beast's formidable defences like paper.
It was a strike that seemed to defy the laws of nature itself, leaving the beast momentarily stunned by the sheer ferocity of the attack.
"How... did... you..." the beast managed to gasp, its voice filled with disbelief as it struggled to comprehend the overwhelming power of Daniel's assault.
Yet, before Daniel could press his advantage, he watched in astonishment as a clock materialized above the beast, its hands spinning backwards in a blur of motion.
In an instant, the wounds inflicted by Daniel's attack began to mend themselves, the beast's injuries vanishing as if they had never existed.
It was a display of the beast's control over time, a power that allowed it to rewind the clock and undo the damage inflicted upon it.
Despite Daniel's best efforts, it seemed that the beast was more than capable of defending itself against his onslaught.
Even though Daniel knew his attack was ineffective, he didn't panic.
Instead, with a smirk he raised his fist and pulled the beast towards him.
As the beast found itself inexplicably drawn towards Daniel, panic gripped its heart.
It struggled against the unseen force pulling it inexorably closer, its movements sluggish and ineffectual against the power of Daniel's will.
"What!? What is this!? I'm being pulled towards him!?"
The beast cried out in alarm, its voice tinged with a hint of desperation.
It was a sensation unlike anything it had ever experienced before, a feeling of helplessness in the face of an opponent whose power it could not comprehend.
Despite the beast's struggles, Daniel remained unfazed, his smirk growing wider as he prepared to unleash his next attack.
With a deft motion, he summoned forth the powers of the ancient grimoire, invoking a spell of unparalleled darkness and malevolence.
"Defiance of Heaven," Daniel intoned, his voice ringing out with a commanding authority as he called forth the sinister energies contained within the pages of the tome.
In an instant, a swirling vortex of black eyeball materialized above him, its dark gaze fixing upon the hapless beast below.
With a thunderous roar, a shockwave of devastating force erupted from the portal, crashing into the beast with bone-shattering impact.
Yet, to the astonishment of the beast, there was no visible damage inflicted upon the creature.
"What... did you do to me...?"
The beast gasped, its voice filled with confusion and disbelief as it struggled to comprehend the nature of Daniel's attack.
The black eyeball vanished as quickly as it had appeared, leaving the beast reeling from the aftermath of the onslaught.
With a smirk of satisfaction, Daniel regarded the beast with a glint of amusement in his eyes.
"What do you think?" he replied cryptically, his tone laced with a hint of mischief as he prepared to press his advantage in the next second.
As Daniel charged towards the beast, a crackling aura of dark purple lightning surrounded him, lending an ominous air to his advance.
With each step, the ground trembled beneath his feet, echoing the power that surged within him.
"It's useless, you can't hurt me,"
The beast boasted, its voice dripping with arrogance as it attempted to dismiss Daniel's efforts.
But Daniel's smile only widened in response.
"Oh really? Then, let's try it,"
Daniel retorted, his voice laced with a hint of menace as he raised his hand towards the heavens.
With a commanding gesture, Daniel summoned forth a storm of dark purple lightning, its jagged tendrils streaking across the sky with deadly precision.
The beast's eyes widened in disbelief as it beheld the approaching tempest, realizing too late the true extent of Daniel's power.
In a desperate attempt to defend itself, the beast sought to manipulate the flow of time, hoping to undo the damage wrought by the incoming lightning.
Yet, to its horror, it found that its abilities were rendered powerless in the face of Daniel's onslaught.
"AHHHHHH!" the beast cried out in agony as the lightning struck true, its searing tendrils tearing through flesh and bone with merciless efficiency.
With each successive bolt, the beast's body convulsed with pain, unable to escape the relentless onslaught.
For ten agonizing seconds, the storm raged on, its fury unabated as it poured down upon the hapless creature below.
And when the lightning finally ceased, all that remained was a smouldering ruin, the beast's once-proud form reduced to nought but ashes.
With a satisfied smirk, Daniel surveyed the aftermath of his attack, his gaze unwavering as he stood amidst the wreckage of his fallen foe.
As the smoke cleared, revealing the battered form of the beast, Daniel approached cautiously, his eyes narrowed with victory.
"Is that all you've got?" he taunted, his voice dripping with contempt as he surveyed the creature before him.
The beast's gaze flickered with a mixture of defiance and desperation as it struggled to rise from the scorched earth.
Despite its injuries, there was a dangerous glint in its eyes, a primal fury that burned with an intensity that belied its weakened state.
"You may have bested me for now, mortal," the beast growled, its voice laced with bitterness, "but I am not so easily defeated."
With a surge of dark energy, the beast unleashed a wave of power that sent Daniel staggering backwards, his resolve momentarily shaken by the unexpected counterattack.
Regaining his footing, Daniel gritted his teeth, his gaze hardening with caution.
"You may have some tricks up your sleeve, but I've got plenty more where that came from,"
He retorted, his voice resolute despite the looming threat before him.
"I admit that you're quite a powerful mortal that I have ever encountered, but don't think this is over just yet"
The beast declared as suddenly, the land around them distorted.
It was as though time had become chaotic and at the same time, the beast had undergone a change.
It went through a transformation where it had become a humanoid, and its appearance was creepy.
Its body was full of eyes and it was an abomination itself.
Moreover, with just its raw aura, the landscape around them seemed to tremble in response to the creature's newfound power, and Daniel could feel the weight of its gaze bearing down on him.
"..." Daniel silently watched as he assessed the beast's new form.
He could sense the overwhelming strength radiating from the creature before him, a force unlike anything he had encountered thus far.
It was as though he was facing time itself.
The beast, now transformed, regarded Daniel with a predatory gleam in its eyes. "You thought you could defeat me so easily, mortal?"
It taunted, its voice echoing with a chilling resonance that made Daniel frown his eyes.
But Daniel refused to be intimidated.
With a fierce glare, he squared his shoulders and prepared to face the creature head-on, knowing that the outcome of this battle wouldn't be as easy as it was to win.

As Daniel stood before the beast, he was about to attack when suddenly, he felt the time around his arm had distorted.
All of a sudden, Daniel's eyes widened in shock as he stared at his missing arm, a surge of panic threatening to overwhelm him.
But even as fear threatened to take hold, he remained calm.
In a matter of seconds, his missing arm had grown back, whole and unblemished, as if the injury had never occurred.
With a sense of awe, Daniel flexed his newly regenerated limb, testing its strength with a cautious touch.
"So, are you still that confident when knowing I had destroyed your arm instantly?" The beast questioned with a smirk.
It felt satisfied that this time, it had the upper hand.
But Daniel's reaction had disappointed it.
"It is impressive, but if that's all you have to show, then I'm afraid, you disappoint me" He declared as he shook his head.
"How dare you mortal!" It screamed as if its voice had destroyed the landscape.
It couldn't believe that Daniel had the audacity to challenge its authority despite knowing that it could kill him at any point in time.
With its rage, it distorted the time around all 4 limbs of Daniel.
However, even though his arms and legs had been destroyed, Daniel's limbs had regenerated within seconds.
