NOVEL NEXT Chapter 137: Idle chat

I've just realized that my novel has really short chapters. I thought 800-1100 words would be quite enough, but it seems that's too short to release three chapters a day, right?
So, I think I'll increase it to four chapters a day starting next week, including on Patreon. I'll see if I can keep up with that pace.
Anyway, the novel's setting might stay in the NES era for quite a while. I really want to explore each console's potential to the fullest. I considered switching to a 16-bit console around chapter 200 (that is, if I'm still writing by then, lol!). Just wanted to let you know. Anyway, ever since I've tried to ignore hate comments, I've been enjoying writing this fic more, hahaha.
Currently, I'm playing *Dave the Diver*, and let me tell you, it's so good! Indie games are truly gems in this world.
And for those of you who love story-driven games, you should try *Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy*. That game is so damn good and underrated as hell! It suffers from the bad reputation of the *Marvel's Avengers* game, so nobody plays it, but when I tried it, it was just so good!
I really want to play *Monster Hunter Wilds* and *Elden Ring: NightReign*, but I don't have a PS5! I do have a PS4, though, so I might be able to play *Elden Ring* on that.
As for a PC, I used to have one, but I sold it a few years ago for some extra cash.
Yeah, I don't have the money to spare to build a PC again or buy a PS5, lol.
