Animation academy

It had been 15 minutes since the body of Himeno Yayoi had been discovered by Conan, the police had arrived 5 minutes earlier and were currently in the bathroom.

The people inspecting the crime scene were the inspector, and two other random police officers. The inspector was a large man who wore a brown suit jacket, brown pants and a circular fedora. His name was Juzo Megure. Looking down at the body he sighed,

"The victim is Himeno Yayoi, a 24 year old Freeter. From what we can tell she was stabbed multiple times in the heart and other parts of her chest...how horrible."

(A.N: A freeter is a Japanese term for someone who is unemployed, underemployed, or works part-time instead of having a full-time job.)

"She was also strangled." looking down at the body with his hands in his pockets was Kira. The body had signs of something being wrapped around her neck with a lot of force, enough to leave a mark. Megure turned his head around to see Kira, a person who he hadn't noticed in the five minutes he'd been in here and it seemed no one else had.

"Who are you?" Megure asked, a tone of surprise in his voice.

"Me? Oh I was here ordering a coffee and when the commotion happened I was curious so I came in here to take a look and found this whole thing along with the boy." He pointed to Conan who was surprised at his story.

'I didn't notice him at all earlier. Is he lying? But why would he lie, unless he murdered this woman and was in one of the other stalls and just came out when we all walked in. Who is this guy?' Conan thought to himself while another horrifying thought creeped into the back of his mind. 'What if he's with them?' He looked at Kira's black outfit that struck him as odd for the warm summer weather.

"Well, could you get out? You're hindering our investigation," 

"Oh, sure thing," Kira bowed and began to leave but not before passing by the beautiful woman Kisaki Eri.

"Hold on." She said, grabbing onto his shoulder with a tight grip.

"Hmm, You need something?" 

'Innocent eyes, an easy trick it may fool some but not me.' She thought staring into Kira's eyes

"Earlier you were about to leave, but when the scream happened you didn't react with curiosity you reacted with disappointment and said 'Just when I was about to go home'. Almost like you knew whatever situation was happening would take up some time."

"Y-you're, Kisaki!" Megure said with a surprise as she interrogated Kira

"Oh, assistant inspector…well no, I guess now it's just Inspector." She said with a nostalgic smile adorning her red lips.

"Inspector, you know this lady?" Conan asked 

"Yes, she's-" He was cut short by Kisaki continuing

"Anyway, You won't be leaving till we figure this case out…just in case."

"Ok." Kira had no reason to complain, after all he already knew who did this murder and how they did it.

20 minutes later

'God this is taking forever, I don't get it Conan should have solved this case already. We've followed most of the basic plot so far. We've brought in the other three people who could have done this murder, which was 

Sumeragi Yuuichi Who had entered the bathroom right before the victim

Kisaki Eri Who came in right after Sumeragi

Tonoyama Juuzou Who came in after Kisaki

Wakaouji Shirou Who was the person who entered last and discovered the body.

After that they realized that the only way for the person to leave the stall where the woman was murdered was with a small gap between the ceiling and stall door. The only people who could fit through it were Sumeragi, Kisaki, and me who they made try just in case, but seriously why hasn't Conan figured this out yet? It's a simple murder, once you figure out who did it you figure out the trick pretty easily. Even if the body was up against the stall door leaving it impossible to open you can easily achieve this trick with a string or piece of rope, like what they used to strangle the Victim.' Kira thought, staring at the young boy holding a bag that contained the murder weapon, a bloody knife. He looked at it weirdly trying to figure out what was bothering him about it.

'The grip of the knife is covered in blood and then there's a little section right below the grip that isn't splattered with any blood. Why is that?' He had been trying to figure this out for about 5 minutes and still nothing, it was on the tip of his tongue he could feel it but he was missing one thing. 

"Hey boy, why don't you leave the investigation to the professionals, that way they can wrap this case up in a nice little bandage." Kira, who had grown tired of waiting for the plot to kick in, had decided to help Conan out with figuring this one out.

'When did he!?' Conan was shocked by Kira's sudden approach that he couldn't detect at all, but then a word he said struck him as odd. 'Wait bandage…that's it I know who killed her and how they did it…but did he already know that?' Conan looked at Kira who gave a bad attempt at a clueless smile, his true intentions were showing in his eyes, that looked happy to see Conan finally figure it out. 

'I'm actually super happy about the fact that I could help a favorite character of mine, but why didn't Kisaki do anything? In the original she was supposed to give the clue of the wedding ring to Conan and have him figure out that it was Tonoyama Juuzou who had killed Himeno, yet she didn't. Why?' Kira couldn't have guessed the fact that he was the reason why, With his added presence and her suspicion of him she had divided her attention and hadn't considered the actions she originally took in the story.

From there the story continued as normal, Conan points out a few things and reveals the trick used, which was that Tonoyama had used the bandage he had wrapped around his ring finger to strangle Himeno and then stabbed her in the heart. Wrapping the bandage around the end of the blade and then putting her over on the side of the stall so that none of her blood would spray on him when he pulled out the knife. After that he wrapped the bandage back onto his finger and left the bathroom hoping he wouldn't be caught. However by some karmic retribution he had accidentally put it on the middle finger instead of the ring finger like he originally had. 

"My, My. Talk about a pretty crappy culprit. To think he still has such evidence on him...if that's the case not even I could defend him in court!" Kisaki Eri declared, causing the man to grow a panicked expression and risk it all by running for it. He ran, punching out some officers and bolting for the door that Kira was standing next to. Kira, not really knowing what to do, tried his best to stop him by jumping onto him but he was easily pushed aside. Leaving it to Kisaki to throw him over her shoulder like he was as light as a feather. 

"...Damn." Kira whispered as she barely broke a sweat doing that. She still wore the same expression on her face and her suit didn't even have any wrinkles on it from her movements. 

After that he was hauled off to Jail and the case was over, Kira began to leave but was stopped by Kisaki Eri who had a question for him.

"You didn't do the crime, I know that, so I'm sorry for holding you back on my own suspicion, but I have to ask, why'd you react that way?"

"...I don't have a satisfying answer for you, I just figured something major went down based on the intensity of the scream and it was also just curiosity, that's why I didn't leave right away." Kira shrugged his shoulders and began to walk off,

"Jeez, mom, who was that? He looked to be around my age, don't tell me that you're dating him!?" A teenage girl with long brown hair asked.

"No Ran, he was just a person involved in this case."Kisaki said, returning to see her daughter and a very shocked Conan Edogawa.

'She's Ran's mother!?'

"...This damn system sure knows how to push my buttons." Sighing, Kira walked around the area he was at until finally finding his destination, a store. 

Kira had left with no destination in mind but decided to get himself some blankets and at least an air mattress or something. Walking through the store Kira found a shop that had everything he was looking for and bought them. He put them into his system's item box when no one was looking and headed back to Sakurasou. Except he got lost…again. 

"I swear I am the dumbest person alive." Looking around he had somehow ended up at the place that was supposed to be his school starting in a couple weeks. He looked at the wall that surrounded the school that had only one word written on it 

'ACADEMY''

The school was huge like HUGE. It had several sports fields that took up at least 100 feet. The 100 feet taken up by the sports fields was nothing compared to the school buildings that seemed like something straight out of fantasy, there were more than ten school buildings each designed differently and each one seeming to host different kinds of students. 

"Yeah…yeah I'm never making it to any of my classes, I'm gonna get lost here within ten minutes." That was just how ridiculous the school looked, even a compass would get confused here. The only students who knew their way around the school were the students in charge of the seven levels of the student Council.

Kira looked around and figured it wasn't bad to try to figure out the landscape here, he had the time.

A woman with black hair cut into a bob cut, violet eyes looking through her red rimmed glasses at the letter in front of her, it contained a simple and straight to the point message.

I found you a fiancé, 

you can't reject this one.

-Love Dad.

Her eyebrow twitched and she crushed the letter in her hand.

"If you weren't sick I would kill you." She threw the crumpled up letter into the wastebasket and sighed, "Haa, I guess it was only a matter of Time, Rias is engaged to Riser. So I guess this was inevitable…though I could probably get her to help me get rid of it. No, it's better to deal with this on my own. She's busy as is, there is no need to make my thing her thing." Sona Sitri sighed again leaning back into her chair. She thought up solutions to deal with this sudden engagement and for some reason the same idea kept coming into her head: get someone to pretend to be her boyfriend so she could stop this engagement. 

"Haa, how basic." She grumbled and then stood up, " Maybe a change of scenery will help." She opened the door to her student council room and began to walk the empty halls of her part of the school. Not knowing how much this decision would change her life.

Meanwhile back at Sakurasou

Misaki sat on her bed, a blanket covering most of everything except her face. She watched the screen flash in colors as she twisted the stick on her controller and pushed the buttons on the controller rapidly, her face unchanging as the screen flashed the words 

'VICTORY' 

Staring at the screen Misaki cocked her head to the side and sighed falling back onto her bed,

"Why didn't that change anything?" Rubbing her hand against her stomach the feeling was still there, that sinking feeling in her gut. She had got it before, and usually she just slept it off or would get rid of it by beating up people on a video game, but...that wasn't helping either. This feeling wouldn't go away. It just kept growing, sinking deeper into her. The feeling of betrayal. She felt that she had betrayed Jin by being mildly momentarily attracted to Kira.

"I can still remember the feeling of his breath on my cheek." She ran her fingers across her cheek as she lightly blushed. "I like Jin, I know that…but that didn't feel bad either." She crawled on her bed forming a circle with her body and blankets. Laying there silently she didn't know what to do She couldn't remember the last time someone had said her name that way...filled with so much affection, it reminded her a little of the way Jin used to call her when they were kids.

"Ugh, I should stop thinking about this and just sleep this felling off" So she pulled out her phone and searched on the internet for something to do with Jin that they would both be interested in and found an article that might be of use.

'The Nerve gear to be released next week alongside it's launch title Sword Art Online or S.A.O' Misaki looked at the article and smiled 

"This looks like fun."
