Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

The man lost his consciousness because of the impact of the elbow that hit the man's nose and slid down to its jaw. The other two swordsmen were dumbfounded by Mia's strength at that moment. They didn't anticipate that they had been trying to attack Mia from the start but in the end, it only took 1 hit for Mia to knock out one of them.

Keiji on the other hand was fighting with ease. After the other man joined they started attacking Keiji seriously. Every one of their attacks was intending to kill Keiji. They have changed their treatment to Keiji as they knew among themselves that Keiji had enough strength to face them. 

The three strongest people in the group joined together as they fought with Keiji. The leader was fighting Keiji from afar as he also kept observing the other side of the battlefield. When he saw that Mia defeated one of them he immediately ordered two of his remaining subordinates to join the fight. 

They were watching from the side and decided to first attack Mia who is more vulnerable. As they observe, they have already found out that Keiji was stronger than Mia. They have been a professional team for years and they know exactly how their group works. The three who were fighting Keiji were their three strongest members in the group and the whole group knew that the gap between the strength of the three is not just one rank.

Keiji was dodging the attack of the two and was moving swiftly. The two of them were getting irritated as time passed by, especially the first strongest in the group. He was fighting with Keiji from the very start and until now he still hasn't landed a single blow. Meanwhile, the leader who was more at ease was much more shocked because he was observing the battle while finding an opportunity for Keiji but then he saw that Keiji had never left his place from the very start.

He only moves his feet if needed and later it will be back to its original position. He thought that Keiji's superpowers was that and was now observing it carefully. He was thinking carefully to find out if he could spot Keiji's weakness. He thought that Keiji's power was the same as those who have restrictions and conditions that need to be met. 

He observed Keiji and his subordinate fight then decided to throw another batch of shuriken. He three shuriken at the same time which aimed at Keiji's toes and one in his abdomen. Then after the shurikens left his hand he three another batch even though his companion was in the surroundings. The second batch of attacks aimed at Keiji's chest and the other was on both sides of his body. And before the first batch hit Keiji, he threw another batch of shuriken. It aims at his calf, knee and hips. 

Keiji saw this and was amused. He liked the man's attitude because he doesn't care for his subordinate just to kill his opponent. He smiled and saw that the two assailants who were engaging in close combat with him had begun to retreat as they also sensed their leader's attack. 

But before they could take a step back Keiji grabbed the sword of the first strongest man in the group using only his finger. He pulled the sword and the assailant was also dragged because his grip on the hilt of the sword was strong. 

Keiji then stepped back a little and moved his body so that the assailants would continue to move forward. Then Keiji used the assailant's body to block the incoming attack. The assailant wants to resist but he loses control of his body when Keiji touches him. 

Keiji was looking at the incoming shuriken. He could dodge it with ease or even grab it but he wanted to see the reaction of the man who threw the dagger that doesn't care for his team. Then before the shuriken got near them Keiji saw something he didn't expect. The dagger that was thrown shook a little and it changed direction. 

Keiji was a little confused as he didn't sense any mental energy in the surroundings that changed the direction of the dagger. When he was using his telekinetic ability he would use his mental energy that travels in the most finest way and for them, mental energy is the strongest source of their power. Because mental strength doesn't rely on anything. 

Overall vampires have three main components for their power. First is the body which relies on muscles, tissue, and bones. Second is their blood which is the trademark for vampires, they can either control it or make it as their source of strength and energy which can change the energy around. Lastly is their brain or mind which is the main source of strength for vampires and in their time everyone also relies on the mind. 

And if one grasps the concept of how to use their mind power they will have the ability to see mental energy. Unlike the energy that they use to strengthen and compress their blood, mental energy is different and has unique qualities. Mental energy came out of nowhere and unlike any other energy that always exists and just in the surroundings metal energy emerges in the brain itself and it doesn't store anything.

Vampires' mental energy is naturally stronger which is why they have dominated the world before. They gain their strength by controlling every cell in their body but their control, of course, has certain conditions and that is high control on mental energy. Keiji could control all the cells in his body, which is a million times that of a human being which means that his mental strength is much higher than anyone. Even Keiji himself didn't know the limit of his brain; he could even sense everything on earth if he wanted. 

The dagger staggered and slanted before it changed its direction as if it wanted to go away from that direction. 

'So that is why you didn't bat an eye when you attacked me,' Keiji thought then his movements sped up he grabbed the sword on the assailant's hand then pushed him forward. The shuriken hit the assailant's body and it stacked on him which caused the assailant to reach a near-death state.

Nine shurikens stuck on the assailant's body and blood poured out from it. The assailants then fall down. The leader was now so confused that his powers didn't work. His ability was already high level in real life and was also sure that it wouldn't go wrong that easily but now he was at a loss for words. But soon he shook his head and focused on the man but his gaze was fiercer than before. He was professional and he didn't let himself get enraged by Keiji killing his subordinate.

He then pulled out something from his waist and then a pile of metal was there. It is a kind of throwing weapon and it has a circular shape that has two blades on both sides and it releases needles in the surroundings. And it can be activated by the leader himself as in his gloves there is a little button that controls the activation of the needles that will shoot out from the throwing weapon.

The other assailants were now wary of Keiji; he was lucky that Keiji did jot pick him up and chose the other instead. But although his subordinate died he did not falter and stood in a fighting position. He was ready to engage in another fight with Keiji even though his team died. 

Meanwhile, Mia was also fighting but when another two people joined the fight she was getting oppressed and was bound to be exhausted. Mia fought with four assailants at the same time but she was still able to cope up with them and not let herself get hurt. She picked up the sword of the other assailant that she knocked out and then went into a fighting stance. 

She had learned martial arts before and was still practising it. She was also practising swordsmanship and different kinds of fighting techniques, which is why she was confident when she decided to help the old man. But even though she was good at it, she was still not that good enough to fight four people who are already professionals and have a lot of experience, especially because they are not afraid to kill while she still hasn't killed someone in real life. 

Four assailants then attacked Mia with good coordination; they slash Mia at the same time. Mia dashed forward to one of the assailants and slashed her sword upward to parry the assailant's sword. Before she crouched and used her foot and tackled the opponent's feet that made it stumbled. As she was rotating her body she also swung her sword to attack the other assailant.
