Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

As a part of the Union Sophia already knew that Klyzer has a certain connection with the Union but she just said that she would hide something from the Union which means that she betrayed the Union and if a word gets out it means not just losing her job but also losing her life.

But even though it is like that she trusts her instinct that Klyzer was not a person like that. Klyzer was cautious at Sophia from the start because she knows that there are only a few individuals in the Union that don't sign a contract that uses an innate ability which means that no one can betray the Union but if a tester suddenly turns back to the Union it means that something is happening.

After Sophia left the four continued stayings because it was still early and they didn't have anything to do yet.

Keiji was so engrossed at what he was reading while listening to the music that was playing. Klyzer also read something while Mia walked towards the musician with Ryle. As they observed both musicians they got engrossed in it.

Mia said, "Ryle let's play some music," after getting an idea she knew that Ryle was good at playing some instruments and she herself was good at it so she decided to play.

Ryle nodded at her and didn't say anything anymore. Mia told the musician that they wanted to play and they let them as they were customers and this was a VIP area so they needed to satisfy their customers. 

Mia picked up the violin and placed it on her shoulder. While Ryle sat on the stool in front of the Piano. Ryle and Mia looked at each other waiting for someone to pick a song.

"What song?" Ryle asked, waiting for her to reply.

"You choose," 

"But I don't have any in mind," Ryle said.

"What about when we play Solitary wind?" Mia asked.

"Ok I'll try," Ryle said as he nodded. 

Then he raised his sleeve and placed his beautiful hands on the tiles of the pia. Mia also did the same thing. She placed the violin on her shoulder then she picked up the violin bow and placed it a little on top of the string of the violin. 

They were both ready as they looked at each other and nodded at the same time. After that, he faced their own instruments and started playing them. 

Sof sound rang out in the room as Ryle's finger swept through the tiles of the keyboard. Then after five notes there comes the sound of the soft but high notes sound of the violin. 

As the two started playing, both Keiji and Klyzer continued reading and glanced at them once. They kept reading the books in their hand and seemed not to be bothered about the two but they were pleased because the sound was good and soft. It was very pleasing for the listeners.

Ryle kept pressing the tiles of the piano as a pleasant sound came out of it. Mia also keeps playing the piano in her hands. The combination of the two was perfect but their music choice was a little bit uninteresting. So after they were done with playing they changed to another song and played again. 

"You choose the song, I suck at choosing songs," Mia said bashfully as she was not that good at picking music and she was also not that good at playing it.

"How bout we play winter wind by Chopin?" Ryle got an idea and told Mia.

"Good Idea but are you sure you can keep up?" Mia doubtingly asked.

"Hmphh!, you'll know it soon," Ryle boastingly said. 

Then they both looked at each other again and waited for the signal so that they could start. Mia and Ryle nodded at each other before turning their respective heads in the direction of the instruments. Then after Ryle started pressing tiles after tiles of the piano it produces soft sound and as it goes on it goes faster and faster. 

Chopin's piece was known for how fast his piece played. It was played in a fast-paced and needed practice so that you could remember everything. Ryle was playing it at a standard pace but it was perfectly executed. 

The sound was pleasant for Keiji and it was even more pleasant when it was accompanied by the sound of the violin.

After enjoying themselves for almost an hour they finally decided to get out of the shop as Keiji remembered that he still needed a phone. They all came and accompanied Keiji with his shopping but before they got out Keiji was going to pay but Klyzer said that it was already paid.

They didn't bother about it anyway and just go and continue what they were doing previously. They started to pack up and walk towards the fourth floor of the building where the shopping mall is. They entered the elevator and got to the designated floor then they walked out of it.

After exiting the elevator there are different kinds of shops at the side from shops that sell shoes, clothing, gadgets, etc. The mall was organized and was not crowded and there were only the staff and a handful of customers on that floor. When they walked out first they spotted an accessory shop so Keiji went to it and as he wandered around a certain accessory caught his attention. 

He looked at it and saw that it was a silver necklace with a pendant of a silver skull. It doesn't have any special characteristics but Keiji could feel something about it. He couldn't explain what it was until he wore it. He went towards it and now he could confirm that it really has something different about it. 

"Hello sir, do you need any help?" a girl went near Keiji who she thinks is going to buy something. Before Keiji could enter she was already paying attention to them because she saw how handsome Keiji was and all of them were top beauty and only one was a little behind but still above the average. When they entered she wished that they would buy something so she naturally paid attention to them.

"Yes, I'd like to know how much that would be?" Keiji asked as he pointed at the necklace that was placed in the middle and sealed in a glass. It was the necklace he saw previously that had a pendant of a skull.

"That one side?" the girl asked to confirm his question. 

"Yes that one"

"Sir, I am very sorry but that item is currently not on sale. It was only displayed here and it will be auctioned for tomorrow so if you want to get that you might want to attend the auction tomorrow. 

" What? Auction?" Keiji muttered to himself.

Klyzer saw that Keiji liked the necklace so much and she even wanted to help him but even she herself couldn't get that item easily. Although it looks like it is displayed here just like that she knew that there are more than 30 high-level ability users in this shop who are protecting that. As she was in a rich family of course every precious thing that would be auctioned would be known by her especially those super precious. 

And when she was home this was the most valuable treasure in the auction that will be held tomorrow and it is not just a simple auction because many international figures and high-level players would participate in this event. 

The Union might also send a representative for this because this item is not a simple one. After all, this one has been confirmed to have a special effect and the effects were too strong that it is considered a rank-s item.

She knew that even the president of the Union might be interested in it so she doesn't have the ability to get that item.
