Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

Mia stiffened her neck as she heard their reply " Ryle my friend, do you want to be the leader for us, please."

Ryle couldn't help but nod when he looked at Mia's pleading.

"Yey!! Ok, you can write our names there here I'll write it for you,"

Mia wrote the name of each member before handing it to Ryle. Ryle then walked towards their teacher in front and lined up with the other two leaders of a group in front. After Ryle listed their names to one of the groups he went back to Keiji and Ryle.

After Ryle left awkward silence penetrated the group and no one seems to have the courage to open up the conversation. Keiji just looked outside the window and he also didn't know what to do. Ryle then went back after listing their group.

"It's done."

Ryle said and let the others know what he just did. They nodded in acknowledgement and waited until the other groups finished listing up their names. 

"Ok so I think all of you are done. Go and draw four topics here and pick and discuss it among yourselves how will you do your research. The first group is the group of Tracy, go and draw here."

Tracy then walked up in front and drew four rolled papers before handing it to their teachers.

"Ok you can list your topics there and return to your groups and you can discuss it among ourselves on what topic you are going to pick. Then after that you can already start your research. Next group."

Then two more groups come up and draw their own topic after Ryle. Then Ryle went up and also did the same and returned to the silent group. While Seraph was feeling so awkward as the group was too serene and no one seemed able to talk.

"Here these are the topics." 

Ryle wrote the topics in a notebook and let their groups look at it. Mia and Klyzer looked at the topic before giving it to Seraph. Seraph reached to it and read through the list before giving it to Keiji who also looked if something could interest him.

Keiji looked at the four topics listed which are Innate ability, Chinese cultivation, Economical in-game currency, and In-game beast. The group were rather happy with each topic as all of it was interesting and they have a certain knowledge about it. Especially all they got was about the game except for the Chinese cultivation. And they can still narrow their research further so that they would only need to just try their best in gaining other articles about it. Especially cultivation since the start of the virtual game cultivation also soar up and was proven the only downside of this if they pick it as their topic they will have a hard time finding research resources about those. 

Keiji had already got the gist of Chinese cultivation especially he had read many novels with a cultivation genre. He had also read in some history that until now there are still some cultivators although it is not the same exaggeration as the novel said where one can split heaven and earth or something even crazy like ascending to immortal worlds.

But because of those novels, Keiji was interested if he could find something about cultivation. What he was using was not the same as cultivation. His powers came from the energy around which also had some similarities to cultivation in some novels which acquired his recognition. There are also things that said that if you are a cultivator you will have another organ called "Dantian" which Keiji lacked.

In cultivation there are many ways to cultivate but based on what Keiji knows the main power of cultivator is called life force which is also something new for him. Because his powers were distributed in his blood which means that his main power is blood. That is what he was and other vampires. Their method of strengthening their power is by compressing their blood. If a normal vampire started walking the path to become stronger, at first, his body was estimated to only have 5 liters of blood in average which has an estimated mass density of 5.25kg. But when they try to become stronger they need to compress their blood so one liter of their blood needs to be compressed to one drop of blood to go to the next level but they need to replenish all the blood that they lost. After compressing all blood and each drop of blood in your body is equivalent to 1 liters they will be ascended to the next level.

Keiji had compressed his blood to the point that each drop of his blood is equivalent to one million liters which has an estimated mass density of more than one million. His blood had already become solid-liquid state in the past which was the same as the previous vampire lord and now his blood evolved again and became a liquid state that is so dense and because of its very high density which is already at the limit of space capacity that made it still and tranquil which was like a clear water and the only difference is that his blood has a rosy color..

And the more dense the vampire blood is the more energy they can store in their body and use as their strength. This energy that was stored in their blood was called mana essence. And as their blood becomes denser and denser the stronger their body becomes and the stronger their power force is.

But still Keiji was curious about this so-called cultivation where one can accumulate the life force in the surroundings inside their dantian which is unknown to Keiji. He doesn't have an idea about cultivation that is why he was curious about it. 

"See we are quite lucky that our topics are all interesting so I suggest that each of us pick two topics that we want and two topics that have been picked more will be considered as our topic."

Ryle suggested as he looked at their group. Keiji nodded in agreement and was followed by Seraph.

"I agree,"

"I also agree," 

Klyzer and Mia both agreed to Ryle's idea and so the group came to agreement.

"Ok then shall we pick our topics," Ryle said and take the initiative to pick the topics by putting a line beside the topic that represents what he picked. Then he gave it to the rest of the group who did the same. And after it revolved around and went back to Ryle he showed it to the group.

"So our topic will be innate ability and chinese cultivation. If you have any inquiries or if you don't want our topics you can express your opinion." Ryle said. Ryle always had a position in the council of the school every year and he was naturally used to being the leader and leading everyone. He had even forgotten that he was talking with the two most well known beauties in the school. 

The group agreed with the topic and decided that they would just start tomorrow in talking about the title of the topic and the main idea about it as those two topics they have picked are too broad for a research. 

"So just tried to read some articles about our topic so we can talk about it tomorrow well." Ryle smiled as he explained their time planned and what they were going to do. Then after the class it went to art class.

The art class was just simple and it was also the first time Keiji would attend it because he had just transferred and everyday the schedule was changing and not every subject was being taught by the school. The teacher greeted Keiji and let him know the rules and what they need to do. Their teacher was a middle-aged woman but had decent features and could be a top beauty. 

"Reign you can choose to pick a seat," Lisa said and then after Keiji picked his own seat and organized his place Liza started teaching. "So that's the most common or well-known technique in drawing so you can go and try to draw something using one of these techniques. You have 1 hour to finish it." 

The student then began scribbling using their pencil and their paper. They started drawing and became serious. No one seemed to want to lose and left behind and only Keiji was left alone. He looked left and right trying to gauge what is the normal average level for this so that he won't stand out too much. He looked at Ryle and saw that his drawing was fine and seems to be flawless then he looked at Mia and Klyzer. Their drawing was also fine and neat although the image only started forming Keiji could already get the gist of how good they are at drawing.
