But that didn't stop the incoming attack of the ranger and he was hit in his back and grazed past his shoulder. Deep cut appeared in Keiji from the middle of his upper back and vertically straight to his right shoulder. The attack of the ranger wasn't fatal but still damaged a lot. He twisted the spear that was protruding the ranger's stomach as his right foot stepped on the land and he stood while turning his body and raising his left foot and kicking straight at the ranger's head. 

The ranger couldn't react in time as he was distracted by the pain that led him to being hit in the head. He lost balance and was going to fall but he swung his spear towards his left side to attack Keiji as he was about to fall.

Keiji catched and held the spear in his hand and pulled it from the ranger then he rotated his body as he skillfully performed a spear stunt. The spear rotated in his hand as if he was performing some play. He then stabbed the tip of the spear in the ranger's head who was still lying because of Keiji's attack. 

After stabbing its head an arrow came towards him and it came from the ranger that was just thrown out. The arrow grazed Keiji's neck and a deep wound appeared on his neck. Blood flowed out of it as he raised the spear and performed a throwing stunt. He threw his spear towards the ranger who just shot an arrow but before he could throw it the ranger dodged and was trying to predict Keiji's attack. But then Keiji didn't let the spear go and pulled it before it could even escape his range. The spear went backwards and he grabbed it agajn before throwing it out with much more force.

The spear shot through the air and hit the ranger's body who was still in the air. The ranger fell and rolled a few times before he lost his strength. The ranger died and the battle ended not long after. 

Keiji's team won and many praises were given to them. Some high-level players were piqued about Keiji who have defeated two rangers at once although those two were not melee specialists they still have a lot of experience and the high-levelled players have a hard time coping up with that information.

After their battle the host then announced when the next match was going to happen. Then they dispatched and went back, some participants logged out and some just walked back.

Keiji went back to the town and decided that he was going to find a class now. But the problem is Keiji didn't know how to get a class. He was the only one who had no class but had the strength of having one and his levelling pace couldn't be compared with anyone. Keiji had already done many quests until now and still couldn't find a hint about any quest for class advancement. Keiji walked around the town and at some point a child tugged his pants.

"Can you please spare us some coins? Sir." 

The child that was tugging his pants had a thin and frail body and looked like it hasn't eaten anything for a week. Keiji wasn't really fond of childs and was irritated by it. The child's hands were greasy and soaked in wet sweat when he tugged Keiji's pants. 

Because Keiji was now on the verge of his anger, he couldn't help but feel irritated with the child. Keiji pulled out a sword in his inventory and slash the child's neck. 

The child was dumbfounded but also Keiji. Keiji was shocked and couldn't help but retreat as the child suddenly release some cold wind that chills his body and it indicates that his instinct were telling him that the child were stronger than him. The child didn't take any damage at all and Keiji's sword only left a bruise instead of a wound. 

"Oh! You... Did you just try to kill me?" the child spoke but his tone and voice this time was so different from what the child's voice earlier. The voice was sending cold chills all over Keiji's body which Keiji found addictive.

A notification popped up on Keiji's retina as the child kept speaking. 

"HAHAHA….Young one come here." The child said as he gestured for Keiji to come with him. 

Even with Keiji's strong mental strength he couldn't fight back the order of the child. Keiji's mental strength was lowered in the virtual world which is why the child can overpowered Keiji in terms of mental strength and forced Keiji to follow his order. 

Keiji unwillingly walked towards the child but he tried to take over his body and tried to resist and when he had control on his body the child was shocked at Keiji and praised him. 

"You are amazing, I have never seen anyone that can resist my power. Even the king surrendered and couldn't do anything but bow down to me. "

The child smiled and looked at Keiji before raising his hand and opening his palm which made Keiji stop.

Keiji retreated immediately when he had taken over some part of his body but before he could completely get away a sudden invisible force restricted his movements. Keiji couldn't move any of his body as if he was a statue.

Tugg** tugg..**Tugg** tugg..**

The child slowly walked in front of Keiji who couldn't move his body because of an invisible force.

"Don't be scared young one, at first I was really going to kill you but you have acquired my amazement." The child spoke as his body slowly changed shape. The childs face looks like it was boiling and was getting dislocated and distored. It's body slowly increased in size and stopped when it was in the same height as a middle aged man.

After the child's transformation an old man was standing in front of Keiji. The old man's face was half burned and some bones could be seen. The lower part of the head and left side didn't have a single muscle left. And half of its jaw could be seen. 

Keiji just looked at the man without any emotion as he thought 'F.ck why did I miss something important. I forgot that the child had appeared and tugged my pants without me noticing his presence. Ahh this is because of those goddamn useless quests.' 

Keiji couldn't help but swear and curse those quests that he did on his way while trying to find any class advancement but was just useless and only rewarded him coins. 

'Well this is just a game, if I die I will still be revived. That is what it says in the book.' Keiji didn't resist anymore as he himself already knew that any resistance would lead to nowhere but he was still trying to find any chance to escape even though it was impossible.

"You know, young one, I am already dying and I wouldn't last a month after this so I was thinking of trying to find an heir that would meet my requirements and that was you. You have met my requirements so I am going to ask you." The old man then snapped his finger and Keiji was freed. 

Keiji was not going to let the old man order him and was trying to find an opening but the old man was so strong and didn't have any opening. 

"Don't even think about it, young one, even though I am old I can kill with just my thoughts. " 

"Hmph.." Keiji snorted. 

"Now do you wish to be the next Master of my Clan the ''Shadow.''

Keiji picked yes and the old man continued.

"Ok, so I will put you into a test. Go and kill this town's Mayor and I will let you go to my next test."

"If you don't want it tell me now. And I think you still didn't have a class and that's perfect go and kill fifty guards that are guarding this town without anyone noticing."
