Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

He moved his body backwards but because of his heavy armor he couldn't dodge in time but fortunately or unfortunately the arrow didn't penetrate his body that much because of the armor protection but after just a second notification popped up inside Rufus' retina.

Rufus felt the hot sensation coming from his wounds to his body which made his movement slower than before.

Meanwhile after retreating a few steps Keiji went to Ralph's direction and went to his back. Ralph was still wary of his surroundings but he didn't notice Keiji's presence with his low perception of the surroundings. 

Keiji went and snuck up behind him as he was still golding the arrow in his hand. He cautiously went near Ralph and waited for the right time to come. Then an arrow shot through the dust cloud and went past Ralph which distracted Ralph's wariness. 

Keiji didn't let the opportunity go and pounced at Ralph and pierced the arrow on its back. Ralph sensed Keiji and tried to dodge but he was still hit. And at that instant a notification popped up in Ralph's retina but it didn't hinder him in any way.

Ralph then swung his sword towards Keiji with all his might. But before he could turn his head around he was punched by Keiji in the jaw and it was soon followed by Keiji's punch in the back of his head. 

Ralph lost his concentration but still able to fight properly he stumbled a meter away and when he was about to stand up he was kicked in the face by Keiji and almost made him lose his consciousness but because of his high vitality that didn't happen so he raised his sword and swung it with all his might towards Keiji but before he could even raised it Keiji stepped on his forearm and restrict it to move the sword. 

Keiji continuously punch Ralph's face until he lost consciousness. Rufus didn't let this chance go even though he was damage. He activated all of his skills and followed the sound that Keiji made and raised his war hammer toward it and slammed it down to the source of the sound. 

Keiji sensed the attack because of his insticy but he couldn't dodge in time because Rufus had already slammed down his war hammer. Keiji jumped sideways but his lower left leg was hit by Rufus' war hammer.

Keiji fell on the floor but he stood back by pushing both of his hands on the floor and made his body rotate and stand on his foot. One of his feet was limp and was smashed into pieces.

After smashing the ground Rufus swung his war hammer to where Keiji was standing. Keiji skillfully dodged it by jumping upwards and after that he pulled out a sword from his inventory but then he suddenly felt something. He instinctively move sideways to dodge the incoming attack of the archer but because he just landed he didn't have the time to dodge it.

He was hit by his arm and a notification appeared on his retina.

Keiji couldn't move one of his arms and he felt that his movement speed had decreased. Rufus then swung his war hammer to Keiji. 

Keiji was hit and flung a few meters away and because of his low vitality he died and his consciousness went back to his original body.

The battle continued and Rufus won with a little bit of struggle. They waited for nearly an hour before the battle started. They were once again standing inside the large Colosseum. 

Minutes later, the host eventually spoke and made its entrance. He made an opening greeting and then the event started after that. There will be 4 battles in this day that will happen and the first one to fight were the Killer of the kings and the Night striker Both teams were famous, the king of killers were famous because of the battle yesterday when they made their debut while the Night strikers were known for their assassin organization.

Rumors said that their organization is not only in the game but also in real life. But authority can't do anything because of lack of evidence. 

The Night strikers consist of 4 assassins that made their team at disadvantage but still the fight was still intense. 3 members of the Killer of the kings died and only the berserker remained while there were still 2 assassins left on the opponent but both of them were injured. The berserker eventually wins after fighting intensely and only 2% of his health remains.

Many high-rank players were astonished at the berserker and they started paying attention to him. They were amazed by the berserker performance because it fought with pure stats.

Then came the second match, the first team were the Isekai gang consisting of one assassin, one chef, one summoner and one trainer. Their teams were considered as the weirdest team because of the class of their members which made them unique. The second team was just a mob and eventually lost to them. 

Then the second match was between the two well known teams. The first team was Run b*tch*ss which consisted of one sorcerer, one cleric, one blader and one dance fighter. The second team was Black love which consisted of one knight, one assassin, one tank and one mage. 

The fight started and the second team was on the winning side at first but then in a blink of an eye the Black love lose and the Run b*tch*ss wins without any member dying. This is the first battle in which each member remained alive and to top it up they all seemed fine and weren't even exhausted. 

This made the audiences look at them in new light. Keiji was also watching the whole battle and couldn't help but smile when he found many strange abilities to him that he didn't have any idea if not for him reading some novels and manga and also watching anime.

Then the next battle and also the last battle of the day were Keiji's team and the Ranger. Their opponent team consisted of four rangers.

Then the battle starts after the host says so. Both teams dash towards each other. Two of the rangers were using bolo in each of their hands as they started running towards them while the other two were using archers in the distance and started shooting at Keiji's team.

Henry attack after he reach a certain distance between them using a bow. The two ranger saw the attack and didn't bother to dodge as it was not aiming at them which made them think twice but they were still wary and didn't let their guard down. Then the arrow split into three in the air and two at the side aim at the two rangers while the last one aimed at the back which was thought to hit nowhere so no one bothered about it. 

The two rangers already anticipated that because no one would aim at nowhere so they easily dodge it by going sideways but their slight movement gained advantage for Keiji's team. Ralph dash forward and slash his sword in the air and created a wind blade that shot through the air and eventually hit the ranger. 

The ranger dodged it by jumping upwards and rotating himself mid air as he continued to run and when they reached their range of attack they started attacking each other.

Meanwhile the arrow that was in the middle suddenly shook and change its trajectory which the two rangers at the back holding a bow didn't notice because they were busy attacking someone. It then shot through the air and aim at the rangers body. But before it could hit the ranger, the ranger tried to dodge by going sideways as he remove his grip on the string of the bow and let the arrow travelled through the air while aiming at Keiji who was in between Ralph and Rufus waiting for opportunity to pounce. 

The arrow hit the ranger's arms which made his arms lay limply but can still be used. The other ranger who was holding bolo went near his teammates and joined in fighting the knight which is Ralph. Ralph fought and was going to lose because the two were using two weapons which were light weapons at that which made it hard for him to keep up with them. 

Keiji felt the arrow before it could hit him but he didn't bother about it because he saw the ranger before the arrow was released and saw that he got distracted. He instead went and pounced at the ranger who was helping his other team to fight Ralph. 

The ranger saw him and raised his sword intending to slash Keiji before Keiji could reach him.
