This person really has no idea what it means to be gentle and considerate to women!

"Why don't you eat something first to replenish your energy." Griffin suggested, his lips pursed in a slightly apologetic expression.

Even though it hadn't been entirely his initiative, things had already escalated to this point. It was only natural for him to transform into a caring and warm man. After all, that was one of his best qualities.

Just as he reached out to help Wanda up—

Buzz!!!

"Get out of my way!"

A sudden buzzing sound filled the air, followed by a surge of scarlet light erupting all around them. The furniture in the room trembled violently as Wanda's eyes flashed red. She swung her slender, pale arms with force, and a beam of scarlet energy, charged with rage and heroism, shot toward Griffin.

At the last moment, a flicker of tenderness crossed Wanda's eyes, and the intensity of the scarlet beam softened slightly. But the energy still roared forward with undeniable power.

"Naughty." Facing the surging tide of scarlet light, Griffin simply raised his hand and waved it gently. The scarlet energy dissipated like smoke, vanishing into thin air.

**!!!**

"This... How is this possible!?" Wanda's eyes widened in disbelief.

Although she had held back at the last moment, the attack was still powerful enough to overwhelm most people. Yet Griffin had deflected it with such casual ease.

"Witch, you're being unreasonable." Griffin said, his tone a mix of amusement and mock offense, "It was you who seduced me first. I'm just an innocent victim here. You even took my innocence so rudely. I haven't even asked you to take responsibility yet, and now you're attacking me?"

He covered half of his face with his hand, feigning a look of deep grievance.

"Me?!" Wanda laughed in disbelief, her voice tinged with anger, "I took the initiative? How could that be... It should be impossible..."

But as she spoke, the hazy memories in her mind began to clear. It *had* been her who pulled Griffin into the car. And she *had* been the one to dominate what happened afterward.

Her face flushed a deep crimson, and a burning sensation spread through her chest. If only she hadn't drunk that strong malt liquor!

"Although this was my first time, I'm willing to shoulder the responsibilities a man should bear." Griffin continued, his voice softening, "But since you treated me like that, you'll have to take responsibility for your actions."

He maintained his aggrieved expression, though internally he couldn't help but smirk. It *had* been his first time with a superhero, and the experience had been nothing short of exhilarating. The memory alone made him lick his lips unconsciously.

"I don't believe it was your first time!" Wanda shot back, her cheeks still burning. She rolled her eyes, her lips pouting slightly. She wasn't naive enough to believe someone could be so skilled and confident on their first try.

The thought made her face heat up even more, but the emotions that followed were far more complicated. The pain of being publicly criticized for the previous incident still weighed heavily on her. And now, this? She had only wanted to numb herself with alcohol, but things had spiraled out of control.

The more she thought about it, the darker her mood became.

"So, you're saying you won't take responsibility for me?" Griffin pressed, his tone teasing but his eyes sharp as he noticed the shift in her emotions.

"I..." Wanda hesitated, her expression conflicted. She bit her lip, her eyes red and watery, making her look both vulnerable and irresistibly charming.

"Alright then." Griffin said with a shrug, pulling out his phone, "I'll just call Tony Stark and let him know what you did to me."

Wanda's face paled. If Tony Stark found out, she'd become the laughingstock of the entire Avengers team—no, the entire world!

But before she could react, Griffin had already dialed a number. Panic surged through her, and without thinking, she extended her right hand. A beam of scarlet light shot toward Griffin's temple.

The next second, Griffin froze in place, his phone still in hand.

"I... I'll just erase his memory," Wanda muttered to herself, her voice trembling. It was a decision she made with great reluctance. This was something she would never forget, but it seemed like the only way to protect herself.

She took a deep breath, pushing aside her doubts, and focused her energy. Closing her eyes, she reached into Griffin's mind, ready to erase the memories of their encounter.

Into the Spiritual World.

What greeted her was a fiery red phoenix, its wings spread wide, flames soaring into the sky. The entire landscape was bathed in a sea of red clouds, and the sheer power radiating from the phoenix was overwhelming.

"Is this his inner world?!" Wanda gasped, her mind reeling. The phoenix exuded an aura of destruction, yet it felt strangely familiar, almost comforting.

To her surprise, she felt a deep sense of connection to it, as if she had known it for years. The closer she got to Griffin's spiritual core, the stronger the pull became, drawing her in like an old friend.

'Could this have something to do with the Phoenix?' She wondered.

Back to Reality.

"What are you doing?" Griffin's voice broke through her thoughts. He had snapped out of his frozen state and now held Wanda's slender wrist firmly.

"You... How?!" Wanda's eyes widened in shock. This was impossible! Even Thor, the God of Thunder, couldn't resist her mind control. How could an ordinary human like Griffin break free so easily?

"Miss Witch, it's one thing to avoid responsibility, but attacking me? That's a bit much." Griffin said, his tone light but his grip firm. He looked at Wanda, who was now wearing his oversized shirt, and couldn't help but smile. The contrast between her delicate frame and the loose fabric was undeniably charming.

"Have we met before?" Wanda asked, her voice trembling. She stared at Griffin, her bright eyes searching his face for answers. There was something about him that felt familiar, something she couldn't quite place.

Could they have crossed paths in the Hydra labs? She racked her brain but found no memories to support the idea.

"No." Griffin replied without hesitation, his fingers gently tracing the back of her hand, "My dear Miss Witch, there's no escaping your approach now."

In truth, when Wanda had tried to invade his mind, the Phoenix Force within him had automatically activated, shielding him from her powers. The Phoenix Force and Wanda's chaos magic were two of the most ancient energies in existence, and their connection was undeniable.

"I..." Wanda lowered her head, guilt washing over her. She knew that if she hadn't used her chaos magic that night, none of this would have happened. But taking responsibility? That was a step she wasn't sure she was ready for.
