Wanda knelt down on the ground, sobbing and shaking her head, a crystal tear sliding down her cheek.

"You need to rest." Looking at Wanda's appearance, Griffin sighed and stepped forward to help.

"Actually, I know... that everyone doesn't like me..." Wanda suddenly raised her head, her eyes red under her messy hair, and tears had already covered her cheeks.

Her trembling voice was filled with sorrow, and her pitiful face was etched with helplessness.

Wanda's painful expression and words made Griffin suddenly realize, 'What had happened recently must have dealt Wanda a heavy blow.'

In order to avoid massive casualties, Wanda had no choice but to throw the bomb that was about to explode into the air. The violent explosion directly shattered the building, causing heavy casualties.

It was clearly an act meant to protect more people, but what awaited her was not understanding, but endless pressure from public opinion.

"Actually, you've done a great job... No one hates you." Griffin walked forward, ready to help Wanda up, and spoke to her in a gentle tone.

To put it bluntly, Wanda's emotional world is far more fragile than that of other superheroes. It was inevitable that things would turn out like this. The public opinion on the internet must have made her start to doubt herself.

"Really?" Hearing him, Wanda raised her head, revealing a deep ravine under her snow-white neck.

This sudden movement made her breasts look like they were about to come out of her clothes.

"Cough! Cough! Cough!" Faced with this scene, Griffin admired it discreetly, then looked away, subconsciously touching the tip of his nose and coughing twice.

It wasn't that he was lustful, but any normal man would appreciate such a sight.

"Are you lying to me?" Wanda was keen enough to notice Griffin's evasive eyes and asked with a questioning tone.

If he wasn't lying to her, why would he avoid her gaze at this moment? This must be just to comfort her!

"How is that possible!" Griffin looked at Wanda and said in a firm tone, "No one is perfect. No one can control every situation firmly in their hands!" Although Wanda is incredibly powerful, it doesn't mean she can do everything.

Even the Thanos couldn't achieve everything he wanted, let alone her.

"You... are right." Wanda took a deep breath and nodded slowly.

She had tried her best, but... she really hadn't expected...

"Don't think too much. The ground is cold. Let me help you get into the car first!" Griffin came to Wanda's side and leaned over, ready to help her stand up.

Wanda nodded slightly to Griffin, who was so close to her. She didn't struggle but allowed herself to be helped into the back seat.

"Let's send her back to the Avengers first." Seeing Wanda leaning in the back seat with a distant look in her eyes, Griffin shook his head helplessly.

Who would have thought that he would meet Wanda in a place like this.

Just as he straightened Wanda's legs, which were hanging outside the car door, and was about to close it, a cold, slender hand suddenly grabbed his wrist.

"What's wrong?" Facing Wanda with her blushing cheeks, Griffin asked with a puzzled look.

"You... are you telling the truth? I really did nothing wrong?" Wanda asked as her flashing eyes were like stars, searching for something to hold onto.

After what had happened, all she faced was contempt. The public's lack of understanding and the officials' selfishness had left her unsure of what to do. It was for this reason that she had come to this secluded place to drink alone.

But she hadn't expected that at this moment, the man in front of her would resolve her inner turmoil.

He even stood firmly on her side.

"Yes, you have tried very hard!" There was determination in Griffin's voice. And the next second, Wanda suddenly pulled back, and a red light flashed in her hand.

Then a force pushed Griffin directly toward Wanda.

In this unexpected moment, Griffin could only brace his hands on either side of Wanda's shoulders. The two of them fell into the back seat of the car, their faces so close that their breaths mingled.

At this moment, what wafted to his face was not only the aroma of wine but also a faint scent of jasmine mixed with wood. The closeness of her face made Griffin's heart race, even though he was a seasoned veteran.

Wanda's blue eyes, as bright as stars, were like black holes, locking his gaze tightly.

"Uh…" Griffin opened his mouth slightly, wanting to say something.

"Stop talking!" Wanda said as she closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling constantly, like a flower waiting to be picked.

Griffin was stunned. He never expected that things would unfold like this. And if he couldn't understand Wanda's action, he would have lived all these years in vain.

He didn't hesitate and kissed her directly, his lips meeting hers with a hunger that had been simmering beneath the surface.

At first, the kiss was slow, tentative, as if testing the waters of their shared desire. But soon, the dam broke, and they gave in to the raw, unrelenting pull of their lust. Their lips moved together with a fiery passion, each kiss deeper, more urgent than the last.

"Hmmmm~ Mmmmm~ Hmmmm~"

The sound of their mingled breaths filled the air, hot and heavy. Their tongues danced, tangling and teasing, exploring every inch of each other's mouths. The taste of her was intoxicating, a blend of sweetness and something uniquely Wanda, and he couldn't get enough. He sucked on her lower lip, gently at first, then with a growing intensity that made her whimper softly into his mouth.

Wanda's hands clawed at his shoulders, pulling him closer, as if she could erase any space left between them. Her body arched into his, her warmth pressing against him, igniting a fire that threatened to consume them both.

"Mmmmm~ Haah~ Haah~" Wanda moaned as they finally broke the kiss, her breath coming in ragged gasps. Her lips were swollen, glistening, and her eyes were half-lidded, dark with desire. She licked her lips, savoring the taste of him, before diving back in, her hunger insatiable.

Their kisses grew more fervent, more desperate. His hands roamed her body, tracing the curves he had only dreamed of touching, while her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer, deeper. The world outside ceased to exist—there was only the heat of their bodies, the sound of their shared breaths, and the electric current of need that pulsed between them.

When they separated, a thin line of moisture connected them.

Wanda blinked her wet eyes, which sparkled like a clear lake.

Delicate and charming...

The corners of her eyes were still red and seductive. Perhaps she was nervous at this moment, and the corners of her lips trembled slightly.

It had come to this! If Griffin retreated now, wouldn't that make him a fool?

Bang!

Griffin gritted his teeth, turned over, and closed the car door. He had always adhered to one principle: if something was offered to you, there was no reason to refuse it.

Seeing Griffin's actions, Wanda exclaimed, "What do you want to do?"

"Finish what we started~"
