Chapter 25: Eternal Bond and Serum of Adaptive Evolution
A few years ago, Logan made a decision that would change his life forever—he decided to propose to Jean and transform her into a werewolf, binding them together for eternity.
Over the years, Jean had become increasingly comfortable with Logan, and their relationship had blossomed into a deep and abiding love. They had been dating for some time, and Logan felt it was the right moment to take their relationship to the next level.
One evening, under a sky filled with stars, Logan took Jean's hands in his, his eyes filled with a mixture of determination and affection. He proposed to her, his voice is conveying his emotion. Jean, taken aback by his heartfelt words, nodded with a smile, her eyes brimming with tears of joy.
Logan and Jean then kissed for few minutes before breaking it, after that with a reassuring smile, Logan leaned in and bit her neck, the mark of his intention to turn her into a werewolf.
However, as soon as his teeth pierced her skin, Logan felt an overwhelming force pulling him away from reality.

.
Logan found himself in a strangely familiar, otherworldly dimension, surrounded by swirling flames and a vast expanse of cosmic energy.
In the center of this fiery realm sat the Phoenix, on a fire chair and she had taken on Jean's appearance. Her eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, and her voice resonated with an otherworldly power.
"Why do you wish to turn my host into an animal?" the Phoenix demanded, her gaze piercing through Logan.
Logan took a deep breath, and begin to explain. "I want to be with her for eternity," he explained earnestly. "I want to share everything with her, including the benefits of being a werewolf. This transformation would give her strength and a long life, one that matches mine. I want her to be by my side, always."
The Phoenix listened as her expression is unreadable.
She stood up and then floated closer to him, but he didn't back down. They looked eachother in the eyes, neither breaking the contact.
After a long silence, she leaned in and kissed Logan gently, her lips searing with heat. Then, she bit his lower lip, her eyes never leaving his.
"Don't do it," she whispered, her voice echoing through the dimension.
.
.
.
In an instant, Logan was back in the real world, He looked at Jean, who was now staring back at him with glowing eyes, her face marked with fiery patterns resembling burning veins.
Logan quickly explained what had happened, telling Jean about his encounter with the Phoenix Force and the warning it had given him. Jean's initial excitement turned to sadness as she realized she wouldn't be able to become a werewolf and share that aspect of Logan's life.
Determined to find a solution, Logan decided to consult Selene, the powerful witch and guide of the werewolves.
.
.
.
Selene listened carefully as Logan explained the situation. After a moment of contemplation, she suggested an alternative—a ritual that would interlink Logan and Jean's life forces, making them life partners in a profound and mystical way apart from mate bond.
The ritual would bond their essences and life force, ensuring that they were connected on a deeper level than any physical transformation could achieve.
The connection would be so strong that Jean would only die when Logan did, effectively granting them a form of eternal union.
Both Logan and Jean agreed to the ritual. Selene prepared for the ceremony, which would take place under the light of a full moon, and set a time of great magical significance. The ritual was to be intimate and sacred, with only Logan, Jean, and Selene present.
"Nobody else is allowed to be here," Selene declared, emphasizing the solemnity of the moment.
Soon, they prepared everything necessary and on the fateful night, as the full moon reached its zenith, Selene began the ritual.
Logan and Jean stood across eachother with both holding eachothers hands inside a magic circle.
Because Logan had mysterium claws magic won't work on him, so Selene changes the core magic with his own energy.
Now, he will be the sore battery for this entire ritual.
Selene stood few feet distance from them, she is also standing in smaller circle.
Soon she chanted ancient incantations, her voice resonating with power as she called upon the forces to bind Logan and Jean's life forces together.
A soft glow surrounded the couple, their bodies bathed in moonlight as they stood hand in hand.
To their surprise, the Phoenix Force did not interfere. Instead, Logan once again found himself in the Phoenix's fiery dimension. This time, the Phoenix appeared more amused than angry.
"That's a smart idea," she said with a sly smile. "I didn't want my host to turn into a little beast. But this...this I can tolerate."
With the Phoenix's approval, Logan returned to the physical world, just in time to see the ritual conclude.
A surge of energy coursed through them both, and Jean's body began to glow. Her physique shifted subtly, her muscles becoming more defined, her senses sharpening.
She now possessed physical capabilities on par with an Alpha werewolf, though her race remained unchanged.
Logan felt a momentary weakness, his body adjusting to the energy transfer, but quickly returned to normal.
Selene smiled as she watched them, her eyes twinkling with satisfaction. "Jean absorbed some of your essence, Logan," she explained. "Her physique has been enhanced without altering her fundamental nature. It seems the Phoenix Force permitted this change because it didn't affect her identity as a human and a host."
Jean and Logan were overjoyed, embracing each other tightly. They had found a way to be together forever without turning Jean.
Jean find it hard to control her senses but with both Logan and Selene's guidance she got some hang of it.
Few days after Jean got her abilities under control, Logan and others prepared feast for celebrating their union.
Many friends and pack members attended the party.
Later to celebrate their union, Laura opened the mirror dimension where they could enjoy their honeymoon in peace.
Logan and Jean spent several months there, reveling in their newfound bond and the intimacy it afforded them.
Every moment was filled with laughter, love, and the joy of being together without any constraints. They didn't whatever they want inside the dimension without care.
After spending some months there Logan and Jean found an interesting thing.
They can now communicate in their minds, they can also hear the surface thoughts of eachother if they concentrate a bit harder.
They are happy with this discovery and soon left the dimension when Laura pulled them out.
------
A few days after Logan and Jean's return from their honeymoon in the mirror dimension, Laura called them back to the pack house.
The atmosphere was thick with anticipation as Laura gathered Logan, Jean, Selene, and Hank in the meeting room. It was time to discuss the serum developed from Darwin's DNA—the serum of adaptive evolution.
Selene and Hank stood by a table, displaying two small vials filled with a shimmering, translucent liquid.
Hank looked both proud and cautious as he explained the significance of what they had created.
"We've finally managed to complete the serum," Hank began, his voice is filled with pride. "Darwin's DNA is incredibly complex, adaptive, and dominant.
It took years of meticulous research and careful experimentation to stabilize it and create just two samples.
The properties of this serum are particularly challenging when mixed with the wolf gene, so we had to be very careful in its preparation."
Selene nodded in agreement, her expression serious. "This serum is unlike anything we've ever worked with.
It grants the ability to adapt and evolve at an accelerated rate, similar to Darwin's mutant power.
However, because of its unique properties, creating even these two samples was a monumental task. It will take us several more months to produce another one, if we can at all."
Logan stood quietly for a moment, his gaze shifting between the two vials.
He had been thinking about this moment for a long time. The serum represented a rare opportunity to enhance the strength of a person, but he knew the decision of who should receive it was critical.
After a thoughtful silence, Logan spoke up. "I've given this a lot of thought and while I'm getting stronger each day, using my energy manipulation abilities to push my limits, I can wait for few months or years for other dose. Jean is learning to control her powers under Selene's guidance and can already use a portion of the Phoenix Force.
Not to mention her connection with me makes her the second Alpha werewolf of the pack.
so she is incredibly powerful in her own right."
He turned to Laura, his eyes filled with determination. "But you, Laura—you've always been strong, but this serum could give you the ability to keep up with me, to grow even stronger and adapt to any challenge we might face. I want you to have one of the serums."
Laura's eyes widened in surprise. She had not expected Logan to make this choice and soon she kissed Logan passionately.
After seperating from Laura, Logan then turned to Selene and Hank. "As for the second vial-"
Selene smiled warmly and cut him off. "I'm fine with Hank having it. I'm fine with my current powers, and I think Hank could use this more than I could."
Selene powers are already formidable, and no one truly knows her limits. She never lost a training battle. So, no one objected her desition.
Hank agreed, a look of grateful determination crossing his face. "Thank you, Selene. And Logan."
Logan nodded, satisfied with the decision. "Alright then. Laura, you'll go first."
Laura stepped forward, taking the vial in her hand. She looked at Logan, then at the rest of the group. "I'm ready," she said confidently, though there was a hint of nervousness in her voice.
Selene nodded and began to chant a protective spell around the room, ensuring that if anything went wrong, the effects would be contained.
Hank monitored the machines nearby, ready to record every moment of the serum's integration into Laura's system.
Laura uncorked the vial and downed the contents in one swift motion.
Almost immediately, her body reacted. She felt a rush of energy surge through her veins, and she staggered back, clutching her chest as the serum began to take effect.
Her eyes flashed with a blue light, and her muscles tensed as she dropped to her knees. Logan moved to support her, his eyes filled with concern, but Selene gestured for him to stay back.
"This is part of the process," Selene said calmly. "Her body is adapting to the changes."
For several intense minutes, Laura's body continued to convulse as the serum worked its way through her system. She felt every nerve ending felt alive, on fire with a strange, potent energy.
Slowly, the intensity began to fade. Laura's breathing steadied, and the light in her eyes dimmed back to their usual color. She stood up slowly, her body trembling slightly but her expression one of awe.
"I...I can feel it, the changes in my body," Laura whispered, her voice filled with wonder.
Hank, who had been closely monitoring the readouts, nodded in approval. "Her vitals are off the charts, but stable. It's working exactly as we hoped."
Logan stepped forward, his eyes searching hers. "How do you feel, really?"
Laura smiled, a mix of exhilaration and calm in her expression. "I feel...incredible. Like I'm ready for anything."
Logan nodded, a sense of relief washing over him. "Good."
With Laura successfully adapted to her new abilities, it was now time for Hank to take the second serum. Logan handed the vial to him, and Hank took it with a firm nod. "Let's do this."
As Laura stepped back, Selene prepared to guide Hank through the same process.
Both Laura and Hank got themselves new powers and did some test. Fortunately everything was fine.

**Inside Whitehaven, Logan's training room**
Few years after that Logan is now floating in the air with his eyes closed and his whole body is glowing with blue energy.
He slowly opened his eyes as they glow red.
"It's time to get the Tesseract back."
He then instructed his pack to gather the information about the Tesseract. While he can go through Peggy and Howard, he wants to make it looks like someone stole it.
So, it's the best way he can think, and it also worked.
But the thing is the Tesseract's location is currently unknown from the Project PEGASYS.
Logan then recalled the plot and decided to wait for Carol's arrival to get the Tesseract.

**Present day, 1995**
Inside the music shop, Logan looked at the blonde beautiful women with blue eyes who stood before him.
She wore some green costume with star symbol in the office her chest.
His eyes widened sensing same energy and feeling coming from her "You got to be kidding me."
