The young man was Su Mu. The night in the forest was too dark, and he had just gotten lost, almost wandering into two other forests. After taking a large detour, he finally managed to get out.

Su Mu was standing on a small hill. Looking down, he could clearly see the opposite mountain wall and a massive cave at its base.
To one side was a green landscape with a stream winding down from the mountain, flowing into the forest to the left. On the other side, the forest connected to the right, with thick trees everywhere.
This natural formation created a small basin about a kilometer in diameter in front of Su Mu.
The basin was vast and flat, perfect for cavalry charges.
In front of the cave's entrance, two wolfmen were lying on the ground, resting quietly. Hearing the noise, their ears perked up.
The wolfmen were quite handsome and were among the more attractive monsters. Their appearance was very similar to the Garurumon from Digimon, though the differences were mostly in color. The two wolfmen in front of Su Mu were one blue and one red—male and female, one with ice attributes and the other with fire attributes.
Ice and fire were naturally opposing elements, but somehow, these two wolfmen had become mates, both with great strength, being level 12 BOSS monsters.

The tremendous noise instantly roused the Ice and Fire Wolfmen. The three-meter-tall wolfman couple stood up and let out a threatening howl towards the approaching group.
Su Mu, however, was not intimidated by the roar. His army of beasts rushed towards the cave, and in an instant, they were close.
Standing atop the Hellhound's head, Su Mu locked his gaze onto the wolfmen and raised his staff high. With a shout, he swung it down, "Crimson Lightning!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Dozens of blood-colored lightning bolts shot out from the horn on the Magic Panther's head, striking the Ice Wolfman in unison.
The sudden and overwhelming attack stunned the Ice Wolfman, whose body froze in place. Moments later, like the Goblin King before it, its body exploded in a violent burst.
A sorrowful howl echoed from the Fire Wolfman's mouth, who saw the Ice Wolfman's death. Her eyes burned with rage as she locked her gaze onto Su Mu, roaring as she leapt toward him.

A system prompt sounded, making Su Mu pause for a moment. He hadn't expected that killing the Ice Wolfman so quickly would trigger the Fire Wolfman's rage state.
This was a rare occurrence. Su Mu had only heard of it in the past, but had never personally encountered it.
Fortunately, it wasn't too much of an issue. With only one Fire Wolfman left, no matter how much its strength increased, it would still be no match for him.
While Su Mu was momentarily distracted, the enraged Fire Wolfman had already pounced. The three-meter-tall beast leaped into the air, soaring ten meters high, then crashing down with both fists aimed at Su Mu, who was standing on the Hellhound's back.
Su Mu raised an eyebrow. "Smart," he thought, swiftly retreating, evading the attack.
The Fire Wolfman did not hesitate, opening its massive mouth and gathering fire attribute energy. A fiery pillar shot out, targeting Su Mu.
Boom! The intense flames shot toward him, and the temperature around Su Mu spiked dramatically, even threatening to ignite his clothes.
Without changing his expression, Su Mu continued retreating. A bright yellow energy shield materialized in front of him, the Heroic Shield, while several Magic Panthers used their Charge skill to leap in front of him as a shield.
Boom!
The terrifying fire pillar slammed into the Magic Panthers, instantly turning them into ashes, reduced to nothingness. The blast's shockwave hit the shield, sending ripples through it. Su Mu's heart skipped a beat, but fortunately, the shield held, and he managed to retreat to safety.
At the same time, the Hellhound reacted, rushing at the Fire Wolfman. The two BOSSes collided with a furious roar, each one enveloped in flames, their bodies covered in energy armor.
However, the Hellhound's armor was much thicker and denser than the Fire Wolfman's.
The Hellhound let out a growl, its flames flaring up as it formed dozens of fireballs that shot toward the Fire Wolfman.
The Fire Wolfman, in its rage, was too blind to retreat. It crossed its arms in front of its head, charging at the Hellhound with all its might.
Boom! The fireballs exploded in midair, unleashing a massive shockwave.
The Fire Wolfman, badly wounded, had its fur singed black. It leaped high into the air, its ferocity undeterred, and threw a heavy punch toward the Hellhound's head.
The Hellhound's eyes flashed with anger. Provoked by such a challenge, it roared, and all three of its heads let out a simultaneous howl, firing three powerful black fire pillars directly at the incoming Fire Wolfman.
Boom!
The fire pillars struck the Fire Wolfman, and a charred corpse crashed heavily to the ground.

Done! Su Mu raised his fist and punched the air in excitement. With the Ice and Fire Wolfmen defeated, the task was almost complete.
Now, he just needed to get the golden roast meat from the cave, and he could upgrade his Netherworld Summoner to SSS rank.
This was an SSS rank class, something that had never appeared in any of the races. Just how powerful would it be? Even Su Mu, the former number one player in the world, couldn't suppress his excitement.
Unable to contain his anticipation, Su Mu quickly stuffed the items dropped by the Ice and Fire Wolfmen into his storage space and strode into the cave, eager to complete the final step.
