After the car accident, my boyfriend got straight

Chapter 17

Shen Li didn’t know what he said to the school, but in the end, he didn’t move out and stayed in the same dorm as Jiang Shiyu. When he told Jiang Shiyu this news, he didn’t forget to warn him fiercely not to go looking for Wang Qing.

Jiang Shiyu was sitting on the bed applying body lotion at that time. His two legs, extending out from his shorts, were white and straight, resting on the chair. The milky white body lotion spread from the base of his thighs to his calves, like a lump of cream melting into milk.

He looked eagerly at Shen Li, holding the open body lotion in his hand. “I can’t reach my back, can you help me apply it?”

Shen Li had grown up wild and rough, playing with equally rugged guys. He had never seen a boy as delicate and troublesome as him, who applied lotions and creams after every bath.

But what he once considered effeminate now strangely fit Jiang Shiyu perfectly. It seemed to him that Jiang Shiyu needed to be carefully nurtured and pampered, different from the other stinky men.

“Shen Li, help me~” Jiang Shiyu waved his hand in front of him when he saw him lost in thought.

He took the body lotion, and Jiang Shiyu naturally lay on the bed, lifting his shirt to reveal a section of his fair waist.

He stared at that patch of skin, his eyes darkening.

“You should squeeze some into your palm first, warm it up, and then apply it to me.” Jiang Shiyu lay on the pillow, his voice buzzing with unintentional delicacy.

Since the day Shen Li slammed the door and said he wouldn’t change dorms, Jiang Shiyu no longer seemed as scared and timid in front of him. He started testing boundaries like a kitten, scratching to see no reaction, then continuing to be bolder.

Just like now, lying on the bed, imperiously instructing him to help him apply body lotion.

“Would you ask someone else to help you apply body lotion like this?”

Jiang Shiyu, resting his head out of boredom, paused at his question. “Huh? What do you mean?”

“If I moved out and your senior Wang Qing moved in, would you ask him to help you like this?”

Jiang Shiyu instinctively wanted to refute but then pretended to be indifferent, “Of course… mm!”

The next second, a large hand pressed against his waist. The rough calluses from years of boxing stimulated his sensitive skin, causing him to let out a muffled groan.

Shen Li leaned over, his broad chest covering Jiang Shiyu’s back, making him feel like a predator had his neck in its jaws. He whispered in a dangerous tone, “Well? Would you or wouldn’t you?”

Jiang Shiyu trembled under him, every sensation magnified. The warm breath in his ear, the grip on his waist tightening, even his breathing seemed constricted.

Jiang Shiyu, blushing furiously, stammered, “No… of course not.”

Satisfied with the answer, Shen Li released his grip on his waist, noticing the two prominent red marks left by his fingers.

He hadn’t used much force, yet his skin was so delicate.

Jiang Shiyu, no longer concerned about his back, lay on the bed like a stranded fish, occasionally trembling under Shen Li’s hands. Shen Li seemed amused, pulling the shirt higher with each movement, revealing a slender back adorned with delicate shoulder blades, like a butterfly about to take flight.

Jiang Shiyu was indeed very thin. Shen Li’s hands could almost cover his entire back. He had always known he was slimmer than the average guy but hadn’t realized how fragile he looked beneath his clothes.

When his hands reached the shoulder blades, Jiang Shiyu began to struggle, unable to bear the sensation.

“No, don’t touch there.”

The body lotion hadn’t been fully absorbed, and Jiang Shiyu’s movements threatened to smear it on the bed. Shen Li had to restrain him.

As they tussled, Jiang Shiyu ended up on his knees with Shen Li behind him, his hands pinned, his legs forced apart, and his body arched like a drawn bow, unable to move.

“Stop moving, the lotion will get on the bed.”

Jiang Shiyu’s eyes were red, pleading for Shen Li to let him go.

“Don’t move.”

Smack.

A crisp sound echoed as Shen Li’s hand landed on Jiang Shiyu’s butt, sending a wave of numbness through him. Jiang Shiyu’s eyes widened in disbelief.

He hit my butt.

He quieted down, lying still as Shen Li finished applying the lotion, flinching only slightly when he touched his shoulder blades. Once done, Jiang Shiyu rolled into the covers, glaring at him.

Shen Li chuckled, heading to wash his hands.

Buried under the covers, Jiang Shiyu felt like his whole body was on fire, the heat radiating from his butt up his spine.

Shen Li, you jerk, how could you hit my butt? No one has ever done that. It’s so embarrassing.

When Shen Li returned, he saw him wrapped up like a turtle. He patted the little turtle’s head. “Don’t smother yourself, leave your nose and mouth exposed when you sleep.”

After a long pause, a muffled “Oh” came from under the covers, followed by Jiang Shiyu turning to expose the back of his head and a very red ear.

Shen Li chuckled, said nothing, and went to his own bed.

The moonlight was particularly bright tonight, casting a glow through the window, illuminating the dormitory.

“Jiang Shiyu.”

Shen Li had learned his sleeping habits over the past few days. If he was really asleep, his breathing would be heavier, and he wouldn’t be so still.

From across the room, a head turned, half his face still buried under the covers, grumbling a soft “Hmm.”

“What were things like before?”

The question seemed out of nowhere, but Jiang Shiyu understood.

In just three months, those times had already become memories of “before.”

He felt a tightness in his chest, pulling the covers down a bit to reveal his mouth, but it didn’t help.

After a long silence, Shen Li called again, “Jiang Shiyu?”

With a tearful voice, he replied, “Shen Li, you’re really annoying.”

“I’m not telling you what things were like before.”

With that, he turned his back, hugging the covers.

You lost those memories, you forgot about me, so I won’t tell you about the past, Shen Li. I hate you.

He hugged the covers, silently crying until he drifted off.

A figure quietly approached the bed. Shen Li, seeing his tear-stained face and damp eyelashes, felt a sharp pain in his chest, as if a needle had pierced his heart.

He knew he had been acting strangely recently but didn’t want to explore what was wrong. Even knowing this was a trap, he plunged in headfirst.

With a gentle brush of his finger on Jiang Shiyu’s nose, he whispered a silent goodnight.

Jiang Shiyu subconsciously nuzzled into the touch, his brows relaxing as he fell into a deep sleep.

Before the National Day holiday, the school was holding a sports meet. All departments participated, except professional athletes, but sports students acted as referees to involve everyone.

Despite the approaching October, the weather remained scorching, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees during the sports meet. Returning to the dormitory at noon, Shen Li pulled off his shirt as he walked in, revealing his impressive abs to Jiang Shiyu, who was in the middle of eating noodles.

“Eat your food, you little pervert.” He walked over, pressing down on Jiang Shiyu’s head to make him focus on eating.

Jiang Shiyu slurped his noodles, grumbling.

After showering, he found Jiang Shiyu had barely touched his bowl of noodles. He sat down and quickly finished his own meal, then handed a bottle of room-temperature milk to him.

“Is your class’s event this afternoon?” He asked.

Jiang Shiyu nodded, putting down his chopsticks to drink the milk.

“Are you going to watch?”

Despite the sports meet having been on for days, Jiang Shiyu had stayed cooped up in the dorm like a hibernating snake, ordering food or getting Shen Li to bring it. He claimed the sun was too harsh. Shen Li wondered if his blood was made of snow, melting under the sun.

Jiang Shiyu said he would go.

Shen Li raised an eyebrow, amused. “Not afraid of melting? Little snowman.”

Jiang Shiyu ignored the teasing. “I have to help Muzi bring water to the athletes and buy milk tea for the class.”

Shen Li’s face darkened. “Just you two, delivering drinks to the whole class?”

“Some classmates are participating in events, and I haven’t helped with the sports meet these past few days. It’s my turn now. The class monitor knows I’m not well and only asked me to help this afternoon. Some girls have been busy all day.”

Seeing his earnest expression, Shen Li couldn’t help but pinch his chin. “So, you only deliver drinks for your class? I’ve been bringing you meals and water for days, and you haven’t brought me anything.”

Jiang Shiyu’s cheeks flushed with a rosy hue as she stammered in a small voice, “Muzi said there are so many people bringing you water at the sports meet that they could circle the track, so how could it be my turn?”

Upon hearing this, Shen Li’s mood suddenly lifted. He leaned in close, his dark eyes staring straight into those bright, shy cat-like eyes, “Jiang Shiyu, are you jealous?”

Jiang Shiyu’s ears burned as she pushed him away, “Who, who’s jealous? I don’t care who brings you water.”

Shen Li reached out and accurately pinched his crimson ear, his voice low and seductive, “I’ve never drunk the water anyone else brought, so…” The soft earlobe was wantonly kneaded by his rough fingertips, as if he had seized her Achilles’ heel.

“Little snowman, won’t you take care of me?”
