Chapter 14
Shen Li was originally tall, and combined with his swimming and athletic training, he stood in front of the table like a door panel, his handsome and firm facial features involuntarily furrowing, making his look somewhat intimidating.
Jiang Shiyu was still surprised at how he suddenly appeared. The sports students kept coming up the stairs one after another, a group of tall and sturdy figures, instantly making the previously spacious second floor of the milk tea shop feel cramped.
“Sis-in-law, what are you doing here?” The one who spoke was Chen Xu, from the swimming team. He went to the same high school as Shen Li, so there was nothing between them that he didn’t know about.
When the group of boys saw him sitting there, they were all a bit awkward after the initial shock. After all, the matter of Shen Li losing his memory and becoming straight had long been circulating in their circle. He had warned them before not to joke about it anymore, and now that they stumbled upon it, except for the thick-skinned Chen Xu who called Jiang Shiyu “sis-in-law,” they didn’t know how to speak.
Most of the people in this group knew him. Whenever Shen Li went swimming or boxing, he would always take him to the venue and arrange for him to sit in a quiet corner. During breaks, he would come over and take advantage of him. They had teased Jiang Shiyu countless times, even joking that he was Shen Li’s little ornament, hanging around whenever Shen Li went.
Shen Li didn’t spare much attention to the atmosphise around him. He stared fixedly at Jiang Shiyu’s swollen eyes. He had been fine when he left in the morning. How had he become like this in such a short time? Then his sharp gaze shifted to Li Muzi across from him. Li Muzi instantly felt a chill creeping up his spine.
He immediately raised his hand to report to the big demon in front of him, “It’s not my fault he cried.”
Jiang Shiyu realized that Shen Li had misunderstood, so he quickly spoke up to defend him, “It’s not Muzi, it’s my own problem.”
Shen Li withdrew his oppressive gaze, and Li Muzi let out a sigh of relief, feeling a chill on his back.
Shen Li instructed the group of boys behind his, “You guys go downstairs and order something. I’ll come down later to settle the bill.”
Everyone understood and rushed downstairs. Before leaving, Chen Xu suddenly had a bright idea and dragged Li Muzi, who was still sitting there watching the show, away with him. In just a few seconds, the upstairs quieted down.
Shen Li pulled out the chair opposite, sat down with a thud, and the small space of the milk tea shop, with its small tables, couldn’t accommodate his tall figure properly. His long legs were a bit cramped, so he straightened them out and inadvertently stretched them over to Jiang Shiyu’s side of the chair.
He glanced at his milk tea on the table and noticed the label saying “with ice.” His eyebrows furrowed again, like those parents who worry about their children eating ice or drinking cold beverages, and nagged, “You’re not feeling well, so you drink with ice. Do you think you don’t take enough medicine every day?”
Jiang Shiyu took almost as much medicine every day as a small bowl of rice. He had to mentally prepare himself every time before taking his medicine.
He looked at the milk tea on the table and explained, “This cup is Muzi’s. Mine had the ice removed.”
The air suddenly quieted down.
This lousy milk tea shop, with such poor business and so few customers, should just close earlier.
“Why did you skip class at this hour? What are you doing skipping class? Otherwise, I’ll call home later and let my mom know you’re not studying well at school.”
Jiang Shiyu’s eyes widened in disbelief at how Shen Li suddenly pinned him with the accusation of not studying well, and even threatened to call his parents. It was something even elementary school students wouldn’t do. He was really childish.
He secretly scoffed in his mind.
But he still obediently explained to him why he skipped class and why his eyes were swollen.
After listening, Shen Li looked at him with a skeptical expression, staring at his earnest and obedient face, his round cat-like pupils shimmering with joy. He didn’t look like he was lying at all.
Because Li Muzi was too eager to drink milk tea, he dragged him to skip class and come to the milk tea shop. On the way, Jiang Shiyu choked because they ran too fast, causing him to cough and cry, which led to his eyes becoming red and swollen.
This reason was really…
Shen Li suddenly stood up, startling him.
“Finish your drink and go back to class, good boy.” He used the nickname that Bai Yun often called him, emphasizing the last three words, as if deliberately.
Jiang Shiyu’s face, which hadn’t yet faded from its blush, suddenly turned completely red, like a dumb tomato perched on his neck.
After Shen Li left, Li Muzi came up from downstairs, carrying two cups of milk tea in his hands, placing one in front of Jiang Shiyu.
“here, Shen Li asked me to give this to you just now. Taro coconut milk, specially ordered at room temperature. Huh, you guys, with your amnesia and straight guy play, this is just one part of your drama.”
Jiang Shiyu understood his teasing, hummed a couple of times without speaking, and hugged the cup of milk tea on the table, his ears blushing.
Li Muzi felt like he was going crazy. Even after losing his memory and becoming straight, he still loved him. Damn it, it was driving him crazy.
“What did he say to you just now? Look at you, so love-struck. Forget about the amnesia and straight guy, he’s totally in love with you. You’re just a pure little kitten, getting yourself into a story protagonist role and unable to extricate yourself.”
Jiang Shiyu couldn’t help but stammer as he explained, “Muzi, what are you talking about? I, I don’t understand.”
“Hey, who knows who it was, but as soon as he came upstairs, he locked onto you.
Seeing your swollen eyes, he thought you were wronged. Someone just now gave me a look as if they wanted to kill me with their eyes. I heard from Chen Xu downstairs just now.
During the summer vacation, when you went to tutor someone in the pouring rain, Shen Li was at the boxing gym. Without a word, he left and drove to pick you up. I told him not to be too fond of you.”
Jiang Shiyu was stunned after hearing this. Wasn’t it Aunt Bai Yun who called him and asked him to pick him up? He vaguely remembered accidentally bumping into that voicemail when he got into the car.
He remembered the message being sent ten minutes before he arrived. At the time, he didn’t think much of it. If it was because of Aunt Bai Yun’s orders, Shen Li couldn’t have arrived in just ten minutes. So, he came specifically to pick him up.
Instantly, it felt like his chest was filled with a whole bottle of sparkling water, bubbles bubbling incessantly with a sour taste.
Li Muzi waved his hand in front of him, “What are you daydreaming about, Shiyu?”
Jiang Shiyu turned to look at him. His slightly swollen eyelids, due to crying earlier, were sharply contrasted against his black and white eyes, which were shining remarkably bright with a determined light, as if he had made up his mind about something.
“Muzi, I’ve made up my mind. I want to help Shen Li regain his lost memories. I don’t want him to forget me, and I don’t want to be separated from him. I love him.”
Li Muzi was delighted to hear this. “That’s great, Shiyu. You’ve finally figured it out.”
He nodded earnestly and absentmindedly scratched the cup’s wall with his fingers, his gaze flickering uncertainly. He leaned in curiously, like a curious little cat, and asked, “Muzi, what did you mean earlier about seducing someone in a white shirt?”
Immediately leaning in, he whispered eagerly, and Jiang Shiyu’s face turned red and red, but he still earnestly made notes in his memo pad. When he heard the more explicit parts, his mouth formed a perfect “O” shape, shocked and unable to close.
Li Muzi paused and looked at him with a skeptical expression. “Seriously? You’ve been with Shen Li for so long. Didn’t he take you to bed a long time ago? Why do you still react like a virgin when you hear these things?”
Jiang Shiyu stammered, “I, I wasn’t feeling well before. He, he was worried that my heart couldn’t handle it, so he was always very gentle.”
Li Muzi facepalmed. “Very gentle? But didn’t you complain to me before about how rough he was with you?”
Before meeting Shen Li, Jiang Shiyu was completely innocent, both physically and mentally, due to his poor health. It wasn’t until he was with him that he realized their physical differences and mismatches. Despite Shen Li being gentle in bed, it was still difficult for him to endure. Every time they finished, he felt like he had lost half his life. Once, after a night together, he was so exhausted the next day that he had to lower his head to the table during class.
It wasn’t until Li Muzi reminded him many times and asked what was wrong that he reluctantly complained a bit. As a result, Li Muzi remembered it until now. In his impression, Shen Li was the kind of 190 cm sports student with eight-pack abs who was as hard as a diamond, and he was only fierce in bed.
As they both facepalmed, they sighed together, resting their heads on the table.
“You should have said your sex life was not harmonious earlier. I have 800 tutorials in my folder, hundreds of toys in my Taobao shopping cart. I’ve been wanting to share them with you for a long time.”
Jiang Shiyu wished he could just cover Li Muzi’s mouth, which liked to talk nonsense. He tried his best to defend Shen Li, “It’s not disharmonious! Muzi, stop making wild guesses.”
He waved his hand dismissively. “Okay, okay, it’s harmonious. So it seems that Shen Li is really a ninja turtle. He can actually restrain himself from going crazy with a beautiful, white-skinned, and perky-bottomed cat like you. What a pity.”
Jiang Shiyu felt embarrassed to reply, “He cares about me.”
Li Muzi rolled his eyes. “Silly lovers, you’ll die if you don’t show off.”
Jiang Shiyu tried to please him, reaching out to touch the golden hair sticking up behind Li Muzi. “Okay, okay, Muzi, don’t be mad. Will you share those videos and toys you’ve collected with me?”
And so, the two of them, who had skipped a class to vent their feelings, spent two hours on the second floor of the milk tea shop sharing their resources.
As they left, Jiang Shiyu stood up straight, feeling like a sponge soaked with knowledge, his confidence soaring. He felt like he could win over Shen Li soon.
Li Muzi cheered him on, raising his fist. “Believe in yourself, you can do it!”
Jiang Shiyu nodded firmly. “I will!”
