After Becoming a Villain, the Fairies Regretted and Chased Me

Chapter 003:

Chapter 003: Song Ye Leaps into the Fallen Immortal Pool!:

Song Ye was still somewhat confused at this moment.

He hadn’t fully merged with the memories of his former self, so he furrowed his eyebrow, struggling to recall the route to the Fallen Immortal Pool.

Just then, a group of disciples from the Enforcement Hall burst in.

“By the Sect Master’s order, Song Ye, a disciple of the ‘Sword’ generation, has disgraced his immortal virtue and is sentenced to stand on the Punishment Platform for three days as a warning to others!” one disciple announced.

Before Song Ye could understand what was happening, he was taken to the Punishment Platform.

Soon, the platform was surrounded by curious onlookers, eager to watch the drama unfold.

However, all Song Ye could think about was finding an opportunity to ask his fellow disciples for directions to the Fallen Immortal Pool!

As soon as he was on the platform, someone hung a sign around his neck.

He turned it over to read the words inscribed on it: “I am the Shame of the Sect!”

‘What?! I’m the Shame of the Sect?!’

What on earth had happened? Could it be that the shameless behavior of his former self had provoked such widespread anger?

Song Ye was left bewildered.

At this moment, Zhu Jian, the head of the Enforcement Hall, approached and spoke to him.

“Song Ye, the Sect Master asked me to deliver a message,” he said. “She said that if you continue to shamelessly fawn over the fairies of other sects instead of focusing on your cultivation, she will personally throw you into the Fallen Immortal Pool!”

As Zhu Jian spoke, he pointed in a direction.

Song Ye followed his gesture and saw a stone monument not far away. On it were the words “Fallen Immortal Platform!”

So the Fallen Immortal Pool was right next to the Punishment Platform!

“No need for the Sect Master to act!” Song Ye declared with sudden resolve. “I’ll jump into the Fallen Immortal Pool myself!”

With that, he channeled his spiritual Qi to shatter the sign on his chest bearing the words “I am the Shame of the Sect.” This would be his last use of the sect’s spiritual Qi!

He then turned and headed toward the Fallen Immortal Pool.

“What? What did you say? You’re going to jump into the Fallen Immortal Pool?” Zhu Jian asked dumbfounded.

He thought he must have misheard.

But while he was still dazed, Song Ye had already made his way onto the Fallen Immortal Platform.

The crowd, which had been noisy and chattering, fell silent, struck dumb by what they were witnessing.

Song Ye was really going to jump into the Fallen Immortal Pool?

No one could believe it.

In the 400 years of the Heavenly Mystery Sect’s history, no one had entered the Fallen Immortal Pool!

Zhu Jian, regaining his senses, shouted, “Song Ye, are you mad? Come down from the platform immediately! This isn’t a joke. If you fall into the Fallen Immortal Pool, all your cultivation will be destroyed!”

Although Zhu Jian had disliked Song Ye’s previous actions, he had only intended to give him a mild reprimand. He never expected that it would drive him to this extreme.

Of course, Zhu Jian didn’t know that Song Ye was jumping into the Fallen Immortal Pool to fulfill a system mission!

And more importantly, Song Ye was the Sect Masters direct disciple. If Zhu Jian’s punishment led Song Ye to jump into the pool, the Sect Master would surely hold him responsible.

Zhu Jian was well aware of the consequences.

Unfortunately, according to the ancestral rules of the Heavenly Mystery Sect, if anyone willingly steps onto the Fallen Immortal Platform, no one was allowed to forcibly stop them from jumping, not even the Sect Master.

Therefore, Zhu Jian had no way to forcefully remove Song Ye from the platform.

“Quick, inform the Sect Master! Song Ye is about to jump into the Fallen Immortal Pool!” Zhu Jian hurriedly instructed a disciple beside him.

In the Sect Master’s hall of the Heavenly Mystery Sect,

“What did you say? Song Ye is going to jump into the Fallen Immortal Pool?!”

Upon hearing the urgent report from the disciple, Xie Liuzhen leapt from her seat in shock.

Could it be that the punishment for Song Ye had been too harsh, driving him to this?

For a sect disciple, standing on the Punishment Platform with a sign that read “I am the Shame of the Sect” was indeed a deep humiliation.

But Xie Liuzhen knew Song Ye’s nature well; he was thick-skinned. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have repeatedly pursued the fairies of various sects, despite being repeatedly rejected.

Could it be that the words she’d asked Zhu Jian to convey had struck a nerve?

Even if that were the case, it wasn’t reason enough for him to jump into the Fallen Immortal Pool. Losing one’s cultivation was a fate worse than death for any immortal.

“Sect Master, please, go and persuade Song Ye!” Her four maids implored, kneeling before her.

Clearly, these four had a close relationship with Song Ye.

It wasn’t surprising, given that Song Ye, the “friend of all fairies,” treated every fairies with the utmost courtesy.

But Xie Liuzhen didn’t need their pleas to know she should dissuade Song Ye.

Then, however, she paused, realizing that Song Ye’s reputation in the cultivation world wasn’t exactly good. As the dignified Sect Master, if she publicly intervened to prevent him from jumping into the pool, rumors would spread. People with ulterior motives might seize the opportunity to slander the Heavenly Mystery Sect, even insinuating an improper relationship between her and Song Ye.

She couldn’t risk tarnishing her reputation—or that of the entire Heavenly Mystery Sect—for a single personal disciple.
