Just a moment ago, Lin Feng heard the mother complain that the little girl had been vomiting, having diarrhea, and losing her appetite. Initially, he had thought it might be gastroenteritis.
With tenderness in the liver area, another possibility crossed his mind: liver cancer.
“Liver cancer?” He wondered aloud.
Lin Feng shook his head and chuckled, feeling overly sensitive. The probability of a 7-year-old girl having liver cancer was exceedingly low. Considering the general mechanisms of cancer, the incidence rate in children, except for certain types like leukemia, was not high.
As for liver cancer, it rarely occurs in children. However, Lin Feng couldn’t rule out the possibility due to his professional sensitivity. Lin Feng pointed out several examination forms, including complete blood count, urinalysis, B-ultrasound, and CT scans.
“You should get these tests done and pay first,” Lin Feng advised.
The mother nodded eagerly, saying, “Alright, I’ll go right away!”
The father hurried to the payment counter with the examination forms in hand. After paying, he swiftly went to the imaging department and the laboratory for the tests.

The father’s lips trembled, and he asked, “Doctor, what’s wrong?”
Lin Feng turned to the CT scan report, which confirmed his suspicion: “Massive space-occupying lesion in the right lobe of the liver, suspected liver cancer,” Lin Feng sighed. There was no need to say more. It was liver cancer.
“Perhaps the tests were incorrect..,” he mumbled, but deep down, he knew the diagnosis was likely correct.
Upon seeing Lin Feng’s change in expression, the parents grew uneasy. “Doctor, what’s wrong?” they asked.

The parents were stunned, unable to comprehend the gravity of the situation.

The father’s knees gave way, and he knelt heavily before Lin Feng. “Doctor, please save my daughter!”
“I can’t lose my daughter, please, I beg you!” the mother cried out, holding the girl in her arms, but the little girl, too young to understand, simply watched her parents with curiosity.
