ace the conqueror

Chapter 11: capter11:Reunion of Flames

Ace had been training for what felt like years, his mind constantly whirling with the memories of his past lives. His golden wings, still growing stronger by the day, fluttered lightly as he flew into a bustling port town, eager to see more of the world beyond his training. The city was alive with noise—the calls of merchants, children laughing, and the rush of people going about their daily lives. For a moment, he took in the scene, marveling at the vibrancy of it all.

It didn't take long for his sharp gaze to fall on a familiar figure—a young boy standing by a crate in the market, his posture relaxed but with an undeniable aura of confidence. He was about Ace's age, wearing a long blue coat, and a big black hat was perched atop his messy yellow hair. Ace's heart skipped a beat as a flood of memories from his past life as Luffy's brother, and his bond with Sabo, came rushing back.

Sabo. The name reverberated in his mind, and for a moment, it felt like his heart had stopped. The memories of their time together—of the brotherhood they had shared—rushed in, and Ace couldn't deny the flood of emotions that overtook him. He had lost Sabo once before, in his first life. The pain of losing his brother had been seared into his very soul.

But here he was, standing before him once again, and this time Ace wasn't going to let him slip away.

Sabo's eyes met his, and a flicker of recognition passed between them. Ace's golden wings rustled as he stepped forward. "Sabo," Ace said softly, the name tasting strange on his tongue.

Sabo looked at him curiously, his brows furrowing slightly. "Do I know you?" he asked, his voice a mixture of caution and curiosity.

Ace smiled bittersweetly. "In a way, you do. You were my brother," he said, his voice carrying a depth of emotion that Sabo wouldn't quite understand—at least, not yet.

Sabo tilted his head, clearly puzzled. "Brother? What are you talking about?"

"I'm not sure if you'll remember," Ace replied. "But in another life, we were brothers. You were taken from me too soon." The words felt strange coming out of his mouth, but the truth of them rang clear in his heart.

Sabo stared at him for a long moment, searching Ace's face as if trying to read him. He could see something in Ace's eyes, something familiar, but also distant. It made Sabo uneasy. "That's a pretty weird thing to say to someone you just met," Sabo muttered, shifting uncomfortably. But there was something in the back of his mind telling him there was more to Ace than he was letting on.

Ace chuckled lightly, but his heart ached. "Yeah, I guess it is a bit weird. But I never forgot you. I couldn't."

There was a long pause before Ace spoke again, his voice quieter now, filled with a mix of sadness and resolve. "It's good to see you again, Sabo. Even if it's not the same as before."

Sabo's expression softened, his stance less guarded now. "I don't know what you're talking about, but…" He hesitated, then smirked. "If we're brothers, I should show you I'm not some weak kid."

Ace's eyes glinted, realizing Sabo had shifted the conversation into a challenge. He couldn't help but smile a little, feeling that familiar competitive energy rising inside him.

"Alright then," Ace said, his wings flicking slightly as he squared up. "If you want to test me, I'm game. But be warned—you're not ready for what I can do."

Sabo's eyes narrowed slightly, his expression serious now. "We'll see about that."

Without warning, Sabo dashed forward, his feet moving with speed and precision. He threw a series of rapid punches at Ace, aiming for his chest and face. Ace sidestepped the first few with ease, but then, with a brief thought, he summoned a gust of wind, making it harder for Sabo to reach him.

Sabo didn't stop. He leapt into the air, trying to land a kick on Ace, but Ace was already moving. With a flap of his wings, Ace soared upward, dodging the attack effortlessly.

"Is that all you've got?" Ace asked with a smirk, clearly enjoying himself.

Sabo scowled, determination flashing in his eyes. "I'll show you!"

With that, Sabo launched himself at Ace again, but this time, Ace decided to show him just a glimpse of his full power. He raised his hand, and in an instant, flames erupted from his palm, swirling around him. The fire crackled with an intense heat, forming a barrier of flames that danced in the air, creating a vivid, fiery aura around him. Sabo stopped in his tracks, his eyes wide with shock as he saw the flames.

"You…" Sabo's voice trailed off, his mouth slightly agape. "What the hell is that?!"

Ace grinned, watching Sabo's reaction. "This is the power of my Devil Fruit. It's not just fire—it's far more than that."

With a swift motion, Ace spun in the air, summoning even more fire, but this time shaping it into a controlled blast. The fire swirled around his body as he expertly controlled it, sending a small, concentrated flame toward Sabo.

Sabo, despite his shock, was quick to react. He tried to dodge, but the fire was too fast. He barely managed to avoid the brunt of it, though he felt the heat on his skin.

"That's…" Sabo's eyes widened even further. "That's not just a Logia, is it? You can control the wind and fire all at once? That's insane!"

Ace landed lightly on the ground, his wings folding behind him. He looked at Sabo with a mix of amusement and pride. "Yeah, it's not a Logia. My Devil Fruit is the Golden Crow. It's a Mythical Zoan. I can control fire, wind, and even the power of the sun if I push it."

Sabo stood there, stunned. "A… a Mythical Zoan?" He looked at Ace in disbelief. "I thought the only Mythical Zoan fruits were the ones that let you turn into legendary creatures. But… this is something else entirely."

Ace chuckled. "Yeah, it's a pretty rare one. Not the kind of fruit most people come across."

Sabo shook his head, still trying to process everything. "I've never seen anything like that before… How strong are you, really?"

Ace's smile softened, but there was a fire behind his eyes. "I'm stronger than you think. And I'm not done yet. I've still got a lot to learn, too."

Sabo stared at him for a long moment, clearly impressed. "I… I have to train harder. You're incredible, Ace."

Ace shrugged casually, still feeling that sense of brotherhood stirring deep inside him. "You've got potential, Sabo. But next time, if you want to keep up, you'll need to train harder. You're still not on my level."

Sabo grinned, wiping sweat from his brow. "Don't worry, I will. Next time, I'm going to beat you!"

Ace chuckled, turning to leave. "I'm looking forward to it."

As Ace walked away, Sabo watched him with a sense of awe and a new fire burning in his chest. He hadn't expected to meet someone like Ace—not like this—and certainly not with that kind of power. But he knew one thing for sure.

Next time, he'd be ready.

(Sabo is from a Nobel family he see the devil fruit book and know devils fruit)
