Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 181: Strange two beings

Rin, Wacko, and Jofin stood in a tense standoff. Surrounding them, hundreds of lone warriors had backed away, maintaining a safe distance as spectators.

"What do you think will happen next?" one of the spectators asked aboard a spaceship hovering nearby.

"What else? A fight, obviously. Although the Federation is stronger than the two combined, they wouldn't dare start a war with both at the same time. The losses would outweigh the gains. You know how those old foxes think—they'd never allow it," a bystander replied, and several others nodded in agreement.

"And the Night Blood Clan and the Mercenary Group are evenly matched. I doubt any large-scale war will break out soon. Their backgrounds are equally formidable—neither side would easily bow. I mean, which of them doesn't have a top-tier universal-level being backing them? In the end, a clash between these three will decide everything," another added, prompting more nods.

He was right. If not for the presence of the other two, Rin—backed by the Mercenary Group—would've already taken control of the galaxy. Though technically it would be Mercenary King No. 9 holding ownership, Rin would undoubtedly gain territory and prestige, likely pushing her to the peak of the galaxy level—just a step away from universal rank. And if luck favored her, she might even break through entirely.

The thought caused the onlookers to gasp in envy, though their expressions softened into smiles.

Now, with two beings of equal standing opposing her, that dream was on hold.

The dark, somber expanse of space somehow felt brighter now, as the spectators found themselves appreciating the stars and the mesmerizing beauty of the void.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" someone said over the comms, prompting laughter.

"It really is," another responded.

Their ambitions to claim the galaxy faded—what they truly wanted now was to witness the battle. A war of titans. Pure entertainment.

Back at the standoff...

Rin glared at the two before her, teeth gritted.

"Really, Jofin? I thought the Federation didn't care about things like this," she snapped.

Jofin only shrugged. "Maybe we already have more than enough. But I don't like bullies. When I see bullying, I stop it. Now that everyone has a backing... can you try it again?" He laughed lightly.

At galaxy level, existing in space was no different than standing on a planet. Movement was unrestricted, and their power allowed them to travel to most parts of the universe—even without a spaceship, albeit more slowly.

Hearing his words, Rin clenched her fists in frustration. She knew it was all nonsense. Jofin was just bitter because she rejected his advances back when they were still at planetary level.

"Fine then. Let's fight for it," Rin spat coldly.

Wacko's face lit up with a wild smile. "Finally. Too much talking—I hate that," he growled, releasing his aura.

Space trembled. A fierce spatial wind burst outward, pushing the nearby ships backward. Just like cosmic storms and radiation fields, spatial winds were one of the dangers of deep space.

"Strong…"

"Is this what a top galaxy-ranked being feels like?"

Murmurs and frantic discussions erupted among the bystanders.

Two more equally powerful auras burst forth as Rin and Jofin unleashed their strength. The three were almost equal in power, prepared for battle.

Just as the clash reached its peak—space rippled.

Two figures appeared beside them, stepping out of nothingness.

Their faces were obscured by a strange darkness, but their forms were clearly visible. They wore tight, sleek black armor that clung to their bodies like a second skin, highlighting their builds—especially the curvaceous figure of the female.

The armor looked more like biological plating than synthetic gear.

"Huh. Three bugs and hundreds of ants?" a feminine voice said, full of disdain.

Everyone—including Rin, Wacko, Jofin, and the bystanders—frowned.

What was her problem?

Anger stirred in the crowd. Especially after sensing the male's aura—he was only at Galaxy Level One (early Rank 2). As for the woman… she gave off no aura at all, yet felt even more dangerous.

Rin, Wacko, and Jofin tensed. They were furious at the insult, but wary. The way these two ripped through space to appear meant the female was at least Galaxy Level—and likely far beyond.

One was a known level. The other, unknown and terrifying.

"Who are you?" Jofin asked, frowning.

As a member of the Federation, he was familiar with every being on the Tidal Ranking. These two weren't on it. Anyone ranked was marked with a unique crest—a mark imprinted by a powerful artifact of the humans. It couldn't be hidden or removed. But this woman had none.

That meant she wasn't on the ranking at all.

And yet… the pressure she emitted—mystery, power, terror.

"Oh? Are you interested in me? Look at my body," Junnie said playfully, spinning slowly and showcasing her curves.

Gasps followed. Even Rin stared.

She wasn't just hot—she was stunning. Beautiful, cute, sexy… all at once. The lust in the air was tangible. Men—and women—were captivated. Even Rin felt an odd heat rising within.

What kind of terrifying charm was this?

"Hahaha… So weak, yet so easy to control. What are you all doing in our territory?" Junnie asked with a soft smile.

Frowns spread across the faces around her.

"Our territory?" This region had only recently been discovered—scanned and marked. No one owned it.

"When did this place get an owner?" they thought in confusion.

"Yo yo… you wanna dance?" Junnie asked, grinning as they stood silent.

Everyone froze. What was she saying? Dance?

Was she… mentally unstable?

They were still processing her earlier words when—

Laughter.

Junnie chuckled darkly. Slowly, a dreadful aura crept through the void as everyone's eyes turned to five large spaceships in the distance.

Bit by bit, the ships were… vanishing.

No—being erased. Turned into nothingness.

"What… What power is that?" someone asked, trembling.

"Is this what a Genetic Warrior can do?" another gasped.

"Wait… there's no law being used. Law? You're a universal-level being?!" Wacko said in shock.

Most bystanders weren't affiliated with any major organization—they didn't know the signs. But Rin, Jofin, and Wacko did.

This wasn't just terrifying—it was beyond comprehension.

Not even dimensional-reduction weapons worked on universal-level beings.

And now, faced with that horror, all three of them stood frozen in fear.

They wished they had known. If they had, they would've never come.

But deep down… they knew that even if they had known—they would've still come.

Because refusing orders from their organizations?

Wasn't an option.
