Absolute Zero: History

Chapter 12: Chapter 11: Gratitude and the end of asylum

Alina laid Zero on a soft bed that she managed to find at the home of an unnamed camp resident.

What happened next shocked everyone again.

- He... is on his own... - one of the tent residents said quietly, and then flinched.

Turning around, Alina saw Zero sit up on his own and smile at her. This sight amazed her, even though she had already realized her child's unusualness. For Zero, it was natural and easy, because a few seconds after he was born, he already had all the knowledge he needed. As a super-quark, he studied and analyzed entire civilizations, observed their development, prosperity, and decline. When he transferred his macro-particle for incarnation, he transferred a part of the knowledge from his true body, which allowed him to adapt and exist in this galaxy. He existed before the beginning of everything and observed the development of the world. A minute after his birth, when his body had completed the process of adapting to neons, Zero was able to control every cell in his body and move independently.

A few days passed since Zero's birth. All the ten residents have become one family.

They had returned to their youth and gained extraordinary power, namely, interaction with neons, which allowed them to resist the animals of the forest. Everyone was grateful to Alina and Zero for their "second life" and was always ready to help. At this time, Zero had already begun to train not only his body but also his mind, delving into the depths of his inner world. TON618, after analyzing ancient civilizations, developed a unique technique that was suitable for any living organism and called it the "Absolute Training Technique". It allowed him to train his mind and body in another dimension of reality, where time flows much faster. Thanks to this technique, Zero could immerse himself in his own inner world, a complex system in which he created various battle and training scenarios. In this world, time passed much faster than in the outside world. One day in the real world could be equal to months or even years in the inner world, depending on the number of neons in the body.

The 'Eternal Flow Method' was another technique that allowed him to direct the neons in his cells to restore the body, enhance its physical parameters, and quickly heal injuries. This technique activated the internal circulation of energy and maintained a state of constant regeneration, so that even the most intense workouts left no trace of fatigue or damage.

In addition, Zero mastered the 'Hypermemory Technique', which allowed him to reproduce and analyze the experience of past civilizations, their battles and achievements. This technique helped him learn the tactics, strategies, and combat techniques used by ancient warriors, as well as train his mind for planning and quick decision-making.

Thanks to these techniques, Zero quickly gained strength and experience, enhancing both the physical and mental aspects of his nature, gradually preparing for his true awakening, when his body would be able to withstand the true power he had been hiding.

It may sound ridiculous and impossible that a child as young as a few days old would be training, but not for Zero, not for someone who is an absolute. Alina, his mother, was certainly amazed when Zero, only a few days old, was already able to walk slowly but surely. She knew that her child could not be ordinary, but to be so... Zero rarely spoke, although he could communicate like an adult, he did not want to. He just wanted to be a child who often just wanted to sit in his mother's arms.

A year passed and life in the camp changed.

Each of the ten residents who received a second life thanks to Zero's power felt full of energy. They lived like one big family, helping each other with daily chores, hunting and camp arrangements. People who had once been on the verge of death now felt energized, regained their youth and gained extraordinary abilities through interaction with neons. Every day was filled with work that was not only practical, but also symbolic - they were supporting not only their physical existence, but also a new sense of community and gratitude. People hunted mutated animals, gathered medicine and food, and set up shelters. Everyone knew that these changes were made possible by Zero. He rarely spoke, but his presence was tangible in every aspect of their lives.

Alina, who had also regained her strength after the "rebirth," became the moral leader of the group, always ready to listen and help. She nurtured Zero, trying to give him the opportunity not only to train physically but also to develop emotionally. One day, the residents who lived with Alina decided to talk to her. They expressed a desire to leave the camp and try to live again, because Zero had given them powers, namely the power to interact with neons, which could increase their earthly rating. Alina was not outraged, on the contrary, she supported them, knowing that it would be better for everyone. Now she was in no danger, because she had her son, protection, food for at least a few months, and strength.

She only asked the people who had become her family to keep the story of Zero a secret until the right time came. They all agreed, assuring her that they would not tell anyone, even if it cost them their lives, because Zero had given them this life. Each of them approached Zero, getting down on one knee, and expressed their gratitude while holding back tears.

- We will meet again, = the ten people said, and then turned around and hurried off to their hometowns.

At this time, Zero, who was a year and a few days old, could already walk on his own, and training became a regular and constant activity for him. He actively explored the world around him, studying animals that had mutated under the influence of neons. These were creatures with extraordinary endurance and speed, who had unique adaptations to their environment. Zero remembered the animals' habits and behaviors from his time as a quark, which gave him a huge advantage when training and hunting. He knew how these creatures reacted to danger, how they hunted, and where they usually hid.

Although he possessed all the necessary knowledge, his earthly body was not yet developed enough to fight on equal terms with these animals. Using his knowledge, he tracked his prey without any problems, gradually improving his speed and maneuverability. Each time, he controlled his strength better, worked on his accuracy, and learned to hide his aura so as not to give himself away.

Zero focused on training that helped develop his physical strength and speed. He covered long distances, developing endurance, preparing for any challenge. Constantly setting himself new tasks, Zero tested his abilities, which helped him not only strengthen his body but also better understand how to coordinate his every movement. Zero realized that his earthly body had to be not only hardy, but also able to withstand at least a small fraction of his true power in the future. He needed a body that could hold at least 0.1% of his true potential in the future, otherwise even the slightest release of energy could destroy his physical shell. Therefore, each of his workouts was aimed not only at developing speed or strength, but also at preparing his body for the incredible loads it would have to withstand. Even without the use of neons, his workouts were extremely effective, and he became stronger every day. This training was laying the groundwork for his future, when his true abilities would be available for use.

A few more months passed and there were almost no animals left in the forest, so Zero planned to go further, deeper into the forest, with his mother Alina, where even more dangerous creatures were waiting for them.

Alina, as a loving mother who always worried about her son's safety, was categorically against this idea. She understood his desire for strength, but her heart was sinking at the thought that he might be exposed to even greater dangers.

- You're too young, you're just a child, - Alina tried to convince him, - We can find another way, without such risks.

- I have to become strong, - Zero replied quietly, looking into her eyes.

He realized that his mom was worried, because she was worried about him, but he had to get through it. Alina sighed, realizing that her son really had incredible potential. During this time, she realized that the things he was doing were unlikely to be repeated by anyone on FX12 Earth. She knew that his drive to train and improve was important to him, and although her heart was filled with anxiety, she knew she couldn't hold back his development.

- Okay, = she agreed, - but only if we're careful.

Zero nodded briefly, his heart filled with determination. He wanted to become even stronger, and Alina, realizing his aspirations, decided to support him.

- I hope you see your beautiful son, - Alina whispered with tears in her eyes, looking up at the sky and remembering her husband. She remembered the moments when they were together, when he supported her and dreamed of family happiness.

- I promise I'll take care of Zero, - she continued, dropping a tear to the ground, - He'll be as strong and brave as you are.

Zero, standing next to her, quietly watched his mother, feeling a deep connection to her. He was a TON618, an absolute being capable of turning back time and even resurrecting his father. But he also knew that there was a price to be paid for his arrival in this world: you cannot change canonical events. His earthly heart was filled with pity for his mother, and he tried to support her by hugging her. With great power comes great responsibility, and he knew that he had to accept it
