Chapter 6: Awakening & Selfishness
Four Years Later
A little chubby boy was outside of his family home.
The boy waddled about, his body heavy and his movements were very clumsy.
"Ack!"
The boy fell forward, his face hitting the floor hard.
"Still no good!"
Standing up with a frown, the fat boy ignored his bleeding nose. His eyes were serious and filled with determination as he forced himself back on his feet.
"Why am I still so clumsy! My running is all over the place!"
The boy grumbled as he took a moment to breathe.
'I know what to do. I feel like I'm controlling every part of my body, but it all comes out terribly… it's like the signal isn't clear,' Sora thought to himself as he felt his body.
All he was doing was a simple jog, yet it took everything just to not trip and fall over.
There was only one thing Sora believed that was causing this.
Lack of talent.
Despite mastering many martial arts in his past life, Sora would need to train in them again to get his new body used to them. Turns out that his mastery of martial arts couldn't be transferred over to his new body.
Training in martial arts wasn't just to condition his body, but to also increase his body's mastery of martial arts. Since his body now lacked talent, Sora would need to dedicate day and night to training.
Luckily, Sora won't need to worry about school in the future since his mind wasn't affected by his lack of talent. He could still memorize anything and comprehend everything in an instant.
Jogging forward slowly, Sora focused on every movement of his legs. He made sure everything was going smoothly before slowly increasing his speed.
Ta!
'Shit…'
Sora tripped and fell forward once more, failing to jog. His nose continued to bleed and now his cheeks were wounded as they bled a tiny bit.
"Hm… this will take more dedication and hard work than I expected…" Sora muttered as he turned his chubby body and turned to look up at the sky.
A sigh escaped his mouth and he lay there, thinking.
If it is going to take him this long just to simply learn how to job, training in more complex and difficult moves will be nearly impossible in the future.
At this point, Sora figured that he could only rely on his hard work and determination to grow stronger.
Reinvigorating himself, Sora got himself off the floor and onto his feet.
He clenched his fists and prepared himself to jog.
'Itchy…'
Standing still, Sora didn't move anymore and began to feel his face. He brought his hand up and touched his cheeks and nose.
The itchy feeling was present on his face, but it was slowly fading away.
Along with it, Sora felt with his own hands as the wounds on his face were slowly healing.
"This…?"
Looking around, Sora at first thought that his face healing was the result of his mother using her Quirk, but she wasn't outside. Akira was still inside and drawing her manga.
Which meant…
'I awakened my Quirk!'
Sora felt amazed.
It all felt surreal.
However, with this new healing Quirk of his, Sora found that he could now be more intense in his training.
'This is great!' Sora thought to himself as he began to jog.
He didn't even bother with going at a slow pace and the result was as expected.
Instantly falling, Sora fell face first into the floor, and without hesitation, he stood back up and continued jogging.
Repeating this over and over without fail, Sora slowly improved the time he could last jogging.
From less than a second to a little more…
1 second…
1.5 seconds…
2 seconds…
3 seconds…
Sora could visibly see his improvement in just three hours.
However, he could feel another problem rising.
His body was feeling weak due to all the healing, like it was overworking itself. His stamina was also being used by his Quirk, he was feeling tired the more his Quirk worked.
Stopping his training, Sora sat on the floor, trying to recuperate his stamina and let his drained body heal.
Now, aside from growing stronger, Sure will need to strengthen his body so that when he uses his Quirk, it doesn't drain him and leave him weak. The same was being said about his stamina.
Still, that is something that will take him a while to improve.
Stamina is easy for Sora to improve, but strengthening his body is a different matter. Working out will help, but it won't be of much help after a while.
…
"Sora! Come eat."
Hearing his mother call him, Sora opened his eyes and stood up.
He walked to his family home weakly and managed to reach the bathroom to wash his hands before heading to the kitchen.
"Why is my cute little baby pale?"
Akira, Sora's mother, looked at her son Sora with some worry. Approaching him, Akira used her quirk on Sora and raised her eyebrows in surprise when she felt something click with her Quirk, augmenting it's healing properties..
Pleasant surprise coated Akira's eyebrows as she looked at Sora interestingly.
"Looks like my little boy is as amazing as I thought," muttered Akira as she looked at Sora. "He awakened his quirk, a healing quirk just like his mommy. He loves me."
Thinking like that, Akira grabbed chubby Sora and brought him into a tight hug.
"Mo~m!"
Sora gasped for air as his mother shoved him into her breasts.
"What are you squirming for, you love my breasts. You used to suck all the milk out of them, leaving me empty," Akira said, her emotionless face looking at Sora quizzically. "I really miss that feeling."
"Mm."
Stopping his squirming, Sora sighed.
He wasn't struggling to leave, but for air. Nonetheless, he chose to stop trying to get air and instead immersed himself in the fluffy feeling beneath his mother's clothes.
"See. You still love them. My cute little boy," Akira said, a small smile on her face.
"Mm mmm mhmm mm?"
Akira tilted her head as she heard Sora try to say something between her breasts.
"What was that, honey?" Akira pulled Sora away from her breasts and looked at him with a smile.
"When is dad coming home?" Sora asked, his red face regaining it's normal color as he could finally breathe.
"Your adorable daddy?"
Akira put a finger on her chin and thought for a moment before answering.
"He should be back soon. Kouki went to the store," Akira said. "More importantly, what form did your healing Quirk take on?"
"Self-healing," Sora said after a moment of thought.
"Regeneration…" Akira muttered before smiling. "Healing yourself… are you selfish? Do you want mommy all to yourself?"
Sora looked at his mom weirdly, "Let's eat!"
"Ah? What about your dad?"
…
Sitting at the table, Sora looked at the rice and spicy curry his mother made for him. The rice and curry his mother made for him was a large serving that even a grown adult would find difficult to finish eating.
Yet it was a normal serving size for Sora.
'I'm going to get fat at this rate,' Sora thought as he patted his big belly.
Lifting up his head from his food, Sora noticed his mother looking at him. She was looking at him, with her usual emotionless face, yet it seemed a little serious at this time.
"Sora…"
Akira opened her mouth and Sora began to wonder what his mother would say.
"Your Quirk has appeared. What will you do in the future? Are you going to be a 'normal' person and get a job? Or are you going to become a Hero?"
Akira looked at Sora, her eyes narrowing as she wondered what choice her son would make.
"Do you want to surpass the Number One Hero, All Might?" Akira asked.
"Number One Hero? All Might? Who's that?" Sora asked, a little confused.
During these four years here in this world, Sora hasn't really explored much of the world as of yet. He has been held 'hostage' by his mother as she didn't wish for him to leave her side. Not to mention that she always puts children cartoons for him whenever she can.
"The strongest and most valiant Hero there is. Saving people-"
Akira explained to Sora who All Might is, but the moment Akira had mentioned All Might being the strongest, Sora could feel his desire to fight against that person. It wasn't just simply because he is a martial artist, but a selfish desire to be strong, stronger than anyone.
A selfish desire, but it's what he yearns for deep within his soul.
Train!
'I need to train and take that man down,' Sora thought, a sly smile appearing on his face. 'My body might not be strong enough… no amount of training could possibly make me reach such terrifying levels of strength that my mother mentioned. I won't be able to defeat him with strength, but with my skills… my martial arts should be more than enough.'
Sora had loads of confidence with his martial arts, and it wasn't baseless either.
In his past life when he was just in his teens, Sora had learnt all the martial arts he could get his hands on and mastered them to their peak. After completely mastering martial arts, Sora went on a discovery journey to take the next step in strengthening his skills.
Training and fighting beyond the master level and going beyond it!
For that, Sora fought against many martial art masters and defeated every single one. When they weren't helping him in moving forward, Sora turned to the animal kingdom.
Bears, gorillas, hippos, elephants…
Sora fought against every animal that could fight back and defeated every single beast.
All with just the strength of the average teen.
…
"A Hero."
"Huh?"
Akira looked at Sora in surprise, amazed that her son chose such a path.
With a quirk that only works on himself, she wonders how far her son can go. She won't stop him, but she will always keep her arms open for him to return.
'Maybe my breasts too. My cute son might return for them,' Akira thought, already worried about Sora. She thought about tempting her son with her breasts to keep him next to her, but she decided against it. Akira didn't want to limit her son's future.
Maybe one day in the future she might tempt him in order to keep him next to her, but not now.
"Knowing my genius baby, you will become the best and strongest Hero," Akira said, her hand resting on Sora's head.
Hearing his mom's praise, Sora smiled, "Thanks mom. I will become someone great for you."
Sora felt a connection to Akira, although not as a son, it was a connection he cherished with her. So, dedicating his future win against this All Might to Akira, it meant quite a bit to Sora.
A long journey begins with one step.

One Year Later
At Sora's family home, Sora was outside jogging.
13 whole minutes!
It's how long Sora can now last whilst jogging without tripping or falling. It's a commendable time, but it isn't any good for Sora. He needs not just balance or to remove his clumsiness, but to increase his stamina as well.
As someone who has already trained in his past life, Sora knows some good methods to do so.
Having that planned out, what Sora needs to begin doing now is his martial arts training.
…
"Go Sora! You can do it, son!"
Outside with Sora was his father, Kouki.
It was rare for Kouki to have free time from helping Akira and running errands. So he uses his free time to spend it with Sora.
"My son is so hardworking…" mumbled Kouki, seeing as how Sora had slimmed down a little.
He was still chubby, but he had noticeably slimmed down.
"I can't lose! UUooooO!"
Rising to his feet, Kouki joined Sora for some jogging.
"You can do it dad," Sora said, encouraging Kouki to push forward.
"Ha! Ha… ha… I'm… so… tired already…" Kouki stammered as he gasped for breath.
Which is to be expected.
Kouki hasn't exercised since highschool, and that was only because gym class was mandatory.
"Go on without me… son… ha…"
Sora watched as his father stopped jogging and weakly went off to the side to sit down and regain his stamina.
The corner of his lips twitched and he could only shake his head inwardly.
"My cute baby has better stamina than my cute husband," Akira said in mild surprise as she looked at her tired husband and her energetic son still running. "My baby is quite amazing, right Kouki?"
"Mm."
Kouki nodded at Akira's words, feeling proud of what Sora is accomplishing.
'And he will continue growing from here on out,' Kouki thought with a smile.
