Chapter 43: BREAK THROUGH!
Laying on the ground with a blank stare, Sora was sensing his body.
The mysterious force he's always felt had suddenly burst within his body. Like it had been accumulating this entire time. It swept through every inch of his body and changed every cell of his. It made them stronger and enhanced them to a whole other level.
His organs, bones, blood, brain, skin, muscles, joints, tendons, nails, eyes, nerves, veins…
Everything improved.
As it improved, Sora began to feel odd. The mysterious force swept through his body, suddenly converging at a single point within his body, his Regeneration Quirk.
He watched in awe and painfully as the mysterious force surged into the quirk. It expanded and grew stronger, but as the mysterious force continued to surge into it, the quirk began to bloat up.
Sora watched with a stunned expression as his quirk exploded right before his eyes.
Just like that, he also lost his quirk.
Yet before he could feel any disappointment, Sora felt his body healing in an instant. His heart was beating once more and his new invigorated blood began to pump rapidly within his body at a speed he never thought possible. Strength surged and his healing power had been enhanced.
His quirk… it had merged into his body in its entirety and is now part of every cell of his.
Sora's eyes lit up and he stood up.
Getting on his feet, Sora was shocked by the changes he had just experienced. His quirk was now completely part of him and the inhibitor around his neck no longer worked on him.
Waving his arms around, Sora felt the weighted restraints and realized that they were weightless to him now.
"Amazing…" Sora muttered as he reached out to touch the restraint only to accidentally leave a deep finger imprint on one of the restraints on his arm.
Raising his eyebrows, Sora quickly let go and moved his body.
He felt weightless.
Maybe now his strength is at All Might's level.
Suddenly, Sora raised his eyebrows and hope grew in his eyes. Getting into a horse stance, Sora began punching forward and differently each time. But after 100 strikes, Sora sighed in disappointment.
His talent did not improve, not even a tiny smidge.
He sighed and figured that it was to be expected. From a certain point of view, he can't improve what he doesn't have. Yet that only made Sora wonder about something else. How far can the Great Body Forging Technique take him?
What is it's limit?
Sora clenched his hands and wished to try it, but he shook his head in the end. Resting for a week will probably do him some good and be better than training right away. He first needed to get used to his new strength.
Even with his experience, Sora worried a little because of his clumsy body.
To combat that clumsiness, Sora turned to something he thought he wouldn't until another couple of decades.
Martial Arts
Basic Strike Technique
This technique of his, contained about 12 moves, but they were enough. Each move was a different way to strike from the fingers all the way to the shoulder.
It consisted of simple moves like block, parry, counter, fist, palm, cleave, finger, claw, elbow, shoulder, knuckles, and redirect. A total of 12 moves, some were simple ones that simply changed how the hand looks. Yet the amount of variations was large and the ways one can launch an attack is also enormous.
With these 12 basic moves, Sora will master this basic strike technique. With just these 12 moves, Sora was content.
Lifting his hand, Sora began with the fist before moving down to the other moves. First, he began with 200 fist strikes before performing 200 palm strikes, and so on.
Once he finished with one set, Sora did another set of 200 strikes per move.

"Toga! Let's go to school together!"
As soon as Toga stepped out of her new home, she was surprised to find a girl waiting for her outside. She had a surprised expression on her face before revealing a happy look.
Lately, all of her smiles have been very real.
Ever since the world knew about her and her Quirk, a lot of people supported her and all the other people who stepped up and were discovered to save similar symptoms like Toga's. Just like her new friend, she was glad to be her friend and didn't mind all the things people say about her. She had even offered to give her blood once.
But Toga rejected the offer since U.A. often sends her some blood bags from those who donate it.
"Toga, are you going to take Ms. Midnight's advice to learn espionage and use your transformation quirk for it? She said that your future is particularly bright if you take that path," her friend asked, curious about Toga's answer.
Thinking about it, Toga looked up at the sky before looking down at her moving feet. She wondered, would she be best doing that, or would it be better to fight as an actual hero?
"I think… I'll become a hero. Espionage…" Toga went quiet before her face brightened up and her cheeks flushed. "It's not really my thing."
"Really? It's surprising because you have the perfect ability for it," her friend muttered as she nodded. "But it's great that you have a goal! I haven't found one yet, so I'll just become a hero."
Toga giggled at her friends words and they both arrived to school.

"Inmate! Time for recess."
Opening the door, the guard had Sora step out of his cell and begin walking.
Sora had now ended his training for the morning. For the past 6 days, he had been training in the Basic Strike Technique from morning till night. With his regeneration ability and monstrous endurance, Sora hardly felt tired or fatigued. So he kept at it, training every single second he wasn't eating or at recess.
Still, he hardly improved, but it was already better than nothing.
"Looks like the flirt is back," Kaina said after seeing Sora arrive.
"Haha!"
Sora laughed sarcastically and rolled his eyes. He walked over to her and sat next to her, watching the other inmates stand around and talk.
After a short moment, Kaina turned to Sora, a look of curiosity on her face. She looked at him in the face, more specifically his eyes.
"So? Did you find out why your eyes changed color?"
Sora leaned back to the wall and looked up at the ceiling.
A couple days ago when he had broken through the Great Body Forging Techniques limit, Sora had found out his galaxy eyes had turned golden. A strange thing, which he still doesn't know signifies or it's cause.
There were a myriad of things that had occurred that particular day.
Dying and being reborn, his quirk now being a part of every cell in his body, and breaking through his body's limits with the aid of the Great Body Forging Technique. They were all particular events that couldn't really describe what had caused his eyes to change color.
His golden eyes swirled and he shook his head.
"Nothing. It might remain a mystery for quite a while," Sora mentioned after thinking.
"Mh~"
Kaina smiled.
"Hm?" Sora turned and looked at Kaina with a weird gaze. "What's wrong?"
"Hmhm…" she covered her little giggle and gave Sora a side glance, a teasing smirk on her face. "To think that something like this eludes you."
Sora raised an eyebrow and suddenly chuckled.
If she knew what he had just gone through a couple days ago, would she still say the same thing? Sora wondered as he looked at her.
Since he first met her a couple days ago, Kaina had really relaxed around him. The her now and the her a couple days ago are like two completely different people!
"What? You better not be laughing at me," Kaina said, poking at Sora's waist with her index finger.
Shaking his head, Sora placed a hand on her shoulder and said, "Why would I? Doesn't your mirror do that for you already?"
Kiana's eyes and mouth were open wide in surprise at what Sora said before breaking into a small smile and pushing Sora.
"How could you, that's so~ mean!" Kaina said as she playfully pushed Sora's shoulder.
Sora played along, moving as if she had really pushed him — despite being so strong that she might not be able to accomplish something like that.
"Haha!"
"Hey, listen…"
Talking for a while, Kaina and Sora eventually returned to their cells, much to their displeasure.

Deep beneath a hospital, in a secret base, Kyudai was looking at the newest nomus he has created. His expression was heavy but there was a certain excitement in his eyes.
Although they failed to grab Sora, Kyudai returned to the regeneration quirk project he was working on. If he couldn't obtain an original one, then he will just make his own like he was planning.
And finally, the results were paying off. The artificial quirk was working perfectly.
He had run tests on some weaker nomus and then on some stronger ones. The results were satisfying and Kyudai was making good progress.
Soon, he will be able to pass this artificial quirk to All For One.
"Soon… very soon…"
Kyudai muttered to himself.
"Don't disappoint me again, Doctor. Once was already enough."
Turning his head to see All For One behind him, Kyudai was surprised. His heart beat rapidly and he nodded.
"I will not. This will help us greatly. Even without that Sora's quirk, we have managed to create our own! I will make sure that it is stronger than his," Kyudai promised with a serious expression on his face.
All For One stood there silently before smiling and nodding his head.
"Very well, I will place my trust in you, Doctor."
Turning around, All For One left.
With a smile, Kyudai looked at the nomus. He pressed some buttons on the pad before him and sped up the process of testing.
"This will be monumental. Soon, All For One and I will be able to accomplish our dreams."

In U.A., training harshly in the training grounds, Mirio continued to permeate and push his body to its limits. He was learning to use the propelling from the ground into his fighting style. Mirio went so far as to learn martial arts that provided in this path of his.
He studied and trained, his training was paying off.
'I will show that villain who a true hero is! I will show everyone! How can they believe he deserves to still be one?'
Mirio trained hard to prove everyone wrong. To prove that Sora doesn't deserve to be a hero and to show that he's the true hero. Maybe that way, Nejire will finally look at him.
Bang!
His fist shot out of the ground and struck a metal bar. It bent and deformed under the force he generated and Mirio smiled as he realized that his strength was growing stronger by the day.
His quirk… it was growing as well. This fierce determination of his was activating the potential hidden in quirk and allowing it to grow and improve. His control over it increased and he no longer fell through the floor when it activated by itself.
The day when he fights against Sora will come one day.
Whether Sora comes for him or he looks for him at Tartarus. Mirio can't let Sora live in peace whilst he lives tormented from being ignored everyday.
Nejire… her eyes never look at him with the same gentleness that she looks at Sora with.
He has to make it happen… he wants it to happen.
