Absolute In/Existence

Chapter 38: A Deal

Sora!

Nejire ran rapidly and even began to unconsciously use her quirk to speed herself up. Every step of hers took longer and longer in the air, before long, she was flying rapidly as she headed straight to a mall where she found a large on on the wall.

As she approached, Nejire could hear sounds coming from the mall. Loud noises that sounded like someone was fighting.

Approaching the hole in the wall, Nejire was astounded. Every thought she had before arriving here was shattered apart by what she was seeing.

Sora… he didn't come here to fight against a villain, or to save his mom. Instead, he is here fighting against… against heroes!

'Sora… what happened here?'

Nejire looked at Sora in worry, watching as he punched the heroes in the top 10. She watched as Sora knocked them into walls, slapped them into the ground, and crushed their defenses. Amidst the worry she had for what was happening, Nejire realized something.

Sora's strength is truly something to admire.

He is able to go toe to toe against heroes in the top 10!

Nejire looked at Sora, admiration filling her heart. Yet as she watched Sora fight, Nejire noticed something. Sora's eyes constantly looked over at something every now and then. If she wasn't paying attention to him at every second, Nejire would have missed it.

She grew curious, what could Sora be looking at?

'That girl… who is she?'

A couple of meters away from her, a girl with blonde hair laid on the floor. Her body is badly hurt and she's unconscious.

'Just what happened here…'

Concerned masked Nejire's face. So much stuff had happened here, heroes with broken legs and arms off to the side being treated by other heroes with healing quirks, an unconscious girl and…

'Is that Endeavor?!'

Nejire noticed a flaming hero crouching on the ground in pain. He crouched a couple of feet away from the unconscious blonde girl. How she could miss such a bright and eye catching figure could only demonstrate how much she has her eyes on Sora.

Once she has eyes on Sora, she can't see anything else.

"Huh?"

At that moment, Nejire suddenly noticed a shadowy figure appear and walk towards the unconscious girl. The figure was revealed to a person in black clothing and wearing a silvery mask. They approached the girl, yet Endeavor didn't seem to hear or sense anything. His eyes were solely focused on the fight between Sora and the four heroes in the Top 10.

She watched in amazement and awe.

The figure approached and Endeavor seemed to finally notice them. Yet the figure ignored his presence and questions as they moved and grabbed the unconscious. Then, something happened that surprised Nejire even more. Endeavor made a move and the figure blocked the move with just one finger!

Next, Nejire was expecting a fight between the both, but the mysterious figure suddenly vanished into thin air.

'They disappeared with the girl…' Nejire thought with wide eyes.

Her eyes unconsciously turned to Sora and she noticed him smiling widely after noticing the girl disappear.

'He… came here to save that girl? Is she a villain? No… Sora isn't a bad person… I believe in him. He always has a reason to do something… Sora! You can to save her, didn't you?!'

Nejire's eyes brightened as her trust and confidence in Sora suddenly soared. She no longer wanted to doubt him, she believed in him and knows that whatever might be happening now is just a misunderstanding or something that was blown out of proportions.

'Sora, I believe you!'

Nejire was there for it all, she watched everything happen. She saw Sora defend against the heroes, a figure appear and take the blonde girl away, and then saw Sora begin to fight back.

Now, she was seeing a weird scene.

All the heroes looked surprise, but she stood there confused as to what they were seeing. All Nejire could see was Sora's back as he stood in front of the bunny hero Mirko.

Then, he was kicked to a wall before another round of fighting began.

"Nejire! Ha… you-"

Nejire was surprised as Mirio finally arrived after a long while. He was opening his mouth and ready to tell her something, but then he noticed the situation down in the mall.

Heroes crippled to the side, Endeavor groaning in pain, and heroes in the top 10 laying on the ground unconscious. Mirio watched as Sora attacked Best Jeanist and slapped him into the ground. He heard bones breaking and it shook him.

'Sora… you've turned to the dark side…' Mirio thought in an instant. He didn't even second guess himself as he sprang into action. Mirio couldn't just sit back and watch as Sora won against the villains and get away with it.

'I'll take you down myself… Sora!'

Without listening to Nejire or telling her anything, Mirio slipped into the ground, his clothes falling to the floor as he disappeared.

"Mirio! No!"

Mirio had long disappeared into the ground and her voice could no longer reach him. She watched anxiously as Sora looked up ready to deal with Mirko who was falling back down. Her leg ready to smash into his head.

Sora smiled but at that moment, his ear twitched and his gaze fell downward. An angry face sprung from the ground and glared at him as a fist sprung along with the face.

'Mirio?'

Sora frowned, but there was nothing he could do about it. Mirio is slippery and all he can do is wait for his punch to land. Then, there is Mirko…

Staying in place, Sora smirked.

'Looks like this is where I stop…' Sora thought, but a smile slipped onto his face. 'But let me do one last thing.'

With his arms spread out to the side, Sora mustered all the strength and speed he could. He looked at Mirko and winked at her before mouthing something at her. Sora then swung his arms at each other.

As he did so, Mirko covered her ears and Mirio continued to throw his punch at Sora. At that moment, a thunderous sound exploded between Sora's hands as he clapped with all his strength.

Every window and glass within a mile broke at the sharp and thunderous sound. The mall shook and reverberated from the force generated and the most affected where those in the mall.

The only ones to more or less save themselves from the clap were those still conscious, Nejire, Mirko, Endeavor and Best Jeanist. All of four of them had noticed Sora mouthing something and instantly understood what he was saying. They covered their ears quickly and watched at the only person who didn't manage to cover his ears, or permeate his hearing.

Mirio.

His punch stopped mere inches away from Sora's chin and he stood there. His eyebrows twitched and his eyes were wide.

Plop…

Falling to the ground, is a drop of blood.

Blood fell from Mirio's ears and he fell to the ground unconscious. Then, Sora received a kick to the head which pushed him back and made him fall as he tripped on a rock.

Thud…

He fell to the ground and Sora simply remained there as he sighed and felt bored. Without martial arts, enjoying a fight just isn't as fun when you're so worried about tripping or making a mistake.

Sora remained still and watched as fiber moved and bound him on the spot. It tightened and dislocated his arms and legs as it restrained him completely. Still, he smiled despite his loss.

At least he didn't view this as a loss. He would have won if he kept going, but it's useless. It's annoying. Boring…

Martial arts.

It's what truly made fighting fun for him. Brute strength may be a prerequisite to fight those stronger than him, but martial arts is what he truly seeks.

"Ha~"

Letting out a long and drawn out breath, Sora sat up and looked at the unconscious Mirio. His eyes flickered and he turned his gaze and noticed Nejire at the hole he had made a while ago. She stood there stunned, looking at him bound.

Tears began to form in her eyes and she was going to step in, but she was suddenly yanked away by Best Jeanist's fibers.

"You…"

Mirko went up to Sora and looked at him with a complex gaze. She stared at him before smirking widely, her teeth showing.

"I'll wait for you."

With that, she flexed the muscles in her legs and jumped away. She left to check on the other heroes and waited for the ambulance and police. Sora followed her with his eyes, slowly taking in her amazing figure — her peachy behind and her little bunny tail.

Keeping his gaze on her behind, Sora ignored the heat approaching him.

Bang!

Bang!

Sora's head barely moved as he received Endeavor's punches. He ignored Endeavor and simply smiled, wondering how long he would have to wait to see her.

'It shouldn't be long, right?'

Suddenly, Sora's vision turned as he was lifted up by his collar. His feet were on the ground as he was brought face to face with an angry Endeavor.

"Hm? What's wrong, Endeavor? Did the heat get to your head?"

Sora chuckled, a smirk on his face.

"You!" Endeavor snarled.

His face was scrunched up in anger as he shook Sora in anger. Teeth clenched and his fire flaring up, Endeavor was growing increasingly angry. However, he still closed his eyes and tossed Sora to the side before stomping away.

"You won't make it far with that attitude. You'll burn yourself out," Sora said with a smirk.

Endeavor, however, didn't reply as he simply left and ignored all the reporters and people who were swarming to the mall.

It wasn't long until the police and ambulance had arrived. They took the hurt heroes and provided aid to them before taking them away to the hospital.

The police surrounded Sora and looked at him with complicated gazes. They moved in and apprehended him, placing extremely heavy weighted handcuffs on him. Sora moved his arms unexpectedly however, causing the police to put a couple extra weighted handcuffs on him.

"Where is she? Where is the girl?"

A police man approached Sora and stood in front of him. He had a notebook in his hand and he had a tired look on his face.

"That girl…"

Sora smiled and began speaking with the cop whilst he was escorted to the police van. His eyes scanned the place and various reporters were looking at him and pointing cameras right at him.

"Sir! Every television in the state…"

"The broadcasting was interrupted…"

"Is the case of the girl true?"

"About the videos…"

"The heroes beating the defenseless girl…"

Countless questions were raised, but Sora answered none of them as he simply kept quiet and entered the special police van. It creaked as he entered the back vehicle due to the heavy weight of the handcuffs on his wrists.

"So… is it a deal?" Sora asked as the door to the van closed and he turned to look at the tired police from earlier.

Silence ensued.

The tired policeman looked at Sora, staring at him for a couple of seconds as he thought. Looking down at his notebook, he looked over his notes and then looked up at Sora.

"Himiko Toga will have her name cleared and will need to be watched by the police for a year. As you have declared, she will also be adopted by your mother, Akanabe Akira. Meanwhile, you will be placed behind bars at Tartarus due to the damage and panic you have caused. Your incomprehensible strength and cunning ability has granted you to be watched heavily and imprisoned there."

Closing the notebook in his hand, the policeman stared at Sora heavily. His eyes narrowed and he got up as he opened the back door of the van. He looked at Sora once more and narrowed his eyes, "If what you say is true, we will debate on whether to take you out or shorten your sentence."

Jumping out, the policeman smiled tiredly.

"Until then, you will remain in prison."

[Welcome to the news of the night where we tell you everything that has happened throughout the day…]

In a dark room, the only light that existed came from a large television hanging on a wall. The person watching the television is none other than All For One. In his hand is a glass cup filled with clear water as he looked at the news with a lack of interest.

Until a certain young man appeared.

[Early in the day, at 12:05, a young man named Sora, with a powerful regeneration quirk, has been imprisoned in Tartarus. The crimes placed on him…]

Crack!

The glass cup in All For One's hand broke and the water spilled to the ground. He leaned forward, his hearing focused on what the news was reporting.

[- crippling 12 heroes who can no longer make full use of their arms and legs, destruction of public property, fighting against heroes in the Top 10 and nearly winning! Luckily, heroes in the Top 10 persevered and stopped this menace from causing any more damage and destruction...]

All For One frowned and turned the television off as his body was filled with rage. His unrecognizable face twisted and he gnashed his teeth as an invisible pressure spread out of his body.

"DOOOCTOOORR!"
