Chapter 27: Eve-olution
Sora went to school and stayed there until the very end. He packed his stuff and went straight home after saying goodbye to Nejire, Mirio, and Tamaki.
Smiling at his phone, Sora tapped on the screen, messaging someone. On the top part of the screen, the name 'Cute Vampire' was bright.
This is Toga.
Whom Sora has been texting ever since the last time they met each other.
Cute Vampire: [It's getting stressful Sora.]
Reading Toga's message, Sora nodded in understanding. Despite Toga able to control her quirk now, it began to imbalance Toga's hormones.
It is a direct result of not being fully in control of her quirk. Something which takes training. For Sora, it wasn't a problem since his regeneration Quirk is quite a simple one.
Tapping on the screen, Sora sent a reply back.
[I'll visit you this Saturday in the morning.]
He turned off his phone, and lifted his head to look at a door. His eyes lit up and he smirked.
Turning the knob, Sora entered his family's shed, the inside appeared the same as ever. Unassuming, with only a small desk inside. The nomu was gone as well.
Sora's eyes scanned the room before he walked forward and to the corner. Pressing a hand on the wall for a second, he pulled it back to his side.
Then, without warning, Sora disappeared from where he was.
As if he had simply vanished.
Yet upon closer look, Sora hadn't vanished, he had simply fallen. A hole had opened up in the floor beneath him.
Beneath Sora's feet was a circular platform that descended down rapidly. Everything was pitch black and not a single thing could be seen.
Minutes passed as Sora was led down to a large and spacious area. It was about the same size as an American Football Field, and it continuously expanded.
Some spaces remained empty and the only area with items and devices was near the center.
There at the center, Sora had the nomu inside of a liquid chamber. Followed by a couple of revolutionary devices that Sora had created.
Such as the Molecular Structure Rearrangement Device. This large machine, like its name denotes, it changes the molecular structure of items and changes them into other resources.
This is how Sora is turning the dirt and stone that is being mined by the worker robots into other materials. The only difficulty part about this were the atoms. For that, Sora had to create yet another machine to disassemble, reconstruct, and clone atoms.
The process would have been more simple if Sora used the energy of the Nigh Ring as the ingredient instead of dirt or stone. In order to not have a large amount of stone and dirt accumulating, Sora had no other choice.
Turning stone into Diamond it was now feasible!
It may take time due to the complex molecular structure, but possible.
In other words, a highly complex 3D Printer.
Looking at the nomu, Sora smirked.
Now with all these machines, Sora can easily recreate a nomu. However, why would he stop there? Sora will take it a step further and improve them.
But that will be for another time.
Instead, Sora is going to begin Eve's upgrades.

"Sora-chi…"
Toga smiled to herself, her eyes gazing at her phone that held Sora's last message sent to her.
[I'll visit you this Saturday in the morning.]
It made her happy. It's been years since they had last seen each other. She missed him and wanted to see how he was doing.
It was thanks to him that she didn't need to fake her smile. It was thanks to him that she could let her true feelings through. It was thanks to him.
Toga sighed happily and turned over her bed, her face now facing the ceiling.
Knock knock!
Toga turned to look at the door.
She was in her room in her family's house. Usually her parents wouldn't come looking for her. They were too… scared - to approach her.
Ever since she was a toddler, her parents were weirded out by her behavior and the stuff she liked. As she grew older, that didn't change.
Even if they hid it, Toga could feel it in their eyes.
"Toga. Come to the living room."
Once Toga's mother finished speaking, Toga could hear footsteps shuffling away. Her mother hadn't asked nicely, rather she was commanded to go to the living room.
Toga smiled.
A fake smile, but a smile.
Putting her phone away, Toga opened the door to her room and stepped out.
It was chilling.
She stepped out of her comfort zone and made her way to the living room where her mother must be waiting for her.
Strutting through the hallways, Toga arrived at the living room. Her mother was there, but so was her father. Her mother sat at the couch, appearing demure as her father stood beside her, like a bodyguard.
Both of their faces were smiling, but Toga could feel that it was fake. Their eyes looked at her with disregard and a bit of disgust.
She stood still at the hallway's entrance to the living room.
"Mom! Dad! What's happening?" Toga asked curiously, her eyes rolled between her father and mother.
"I'm pregnant," Toga's mother answered.
She rubbed her belly and Toga's father gently placed a hand on his wife's shoulder. Both their smiled turned genuine as their focus shifted to the Toga's mother's belly.
Toga saw the look in her parents' eyes and furrowed her little eyebrows together before smoothening them.
"Congratulations!"
She forced herself to say that.
Why? She didn't mind having a little sister, but why couldn't she say congratulations without forcing herself?
"I hope the baby doesn't turn-"
"Shh!"
Toga snapped out of her thoughts after hearing her father speak, only to be shushed by her mother. She narrowed her eyes, the smile on her face becoming more forced.
Just finished the sentence.
Toga clenched her fists. She already knew what her father was going to say. Her parents must be thinking the same thing to be able to procreate to have another child.
Ta…
A soft sound of a footstep.
Toga took a step back unconsciously and narrowed her eyes more, hiding the hurt.
"I need to finish some homework and study for a test," Toga said as she waved to her parents and walked away.
She walked back to her room and closed the door behind her. She locked the door and stood there quietly.
Ding!
At that very moment, Toga's phone buzzed. Pulling out her phone and bringing it to her face. It turned on and the light brightened her face. Her eyes read the text on the screen.
[Wear your best outfit this weekend. I'm taking you out to eat! :D ]
Toga smiled softly.

That night, Sora looked at Eve.
She was sitting there on a metal table, looking at her improved body. Her body is different now, she is no longer cogs and bolts. Eve's entire body was overhauled and closer to the realm of the living.
Her muscles were made of thin strands of Sora's own special alloy that he made with the aid of the Molecular Structure Rearrangement Device. A special living alloy.
From her bones to her flesh, every inch of her was made of a different alloy, specially made and strengthened. Sora had to make her entire body from a single starting point, a single cell.
He built many cells individually, one by one. Before long, each cell began their work, reproducing and growing in number. Sora combined them expertly and fused them together to unite. He started with the brain and the heart and slowly continued from there.
Now, it was all complete into Eve.
She had the potential to live freely. Sora gave her the will to live and be real.
"Why?"
That was the first question Eve asked Sora. With such free will, she no longer has to care for Sora or his mother. She could leave and explore the world.
"Why not?"
Sora chuckled.
Why not.
It was as simple as that. He didn't think too much of it. Aside from testing his new capabilities, Sora didn't have any other thoughts. He simply smiled and looked at Eve warmly, like looking at a daughter.
He brought her to life and made her live and breathe.
Eve sat there quietly.
She looked at Sora. She didn't know what to say, she had only been 'alive' for a couple of months. But she knew one thing.
She liked being with Sora.
Sliding off the metal table, Eve landed on the ground quietly and knelt on one knee. Without hesitation and without caring for her naked body, Eve knelt before Sora.
"I will follow you! I wish to stand by you!"
There's nowhere else I'd rather be than with my precious creator. Eve looked at Sora with serious and determined eyes.
"Mm. I'm counting on you," Sora smiled. "Wear this, I can't have you walking around naked."
Sora passed some clothes to Eve who looked at him confused. She looked down at her body and wondered what was wrong with her current appearance.
Grabbing the clothes, Eve looked at them curiously before wearing them.
"And this," Sora said as he gave Eve one final thing.
"This is…"
Eve looked stunned at the metal mask in Sora's hand. It was her previous plain and smooth metal face. She grabbed it unconsciously as she slowly raised her head to look at Sora, her silver eyes peering at him curiously.
"Use this mask as a reminder should you ever face a difficult choice in the future," Sora said, a smile on his face. His voice had a tinge of mysteriousness in it that Eve just couldn't put her finger on.
She listened to him, looking at her mask. It didn't have any straps or anything to stick to her face, but when she placed it over her face, it just stood there as if it was glued. Curious, she reached up to her mask in order to remove it when she suddenly felt it slip into her hand. It was like the mask listened to her thoughts of removing the mask.
"Now go and get used to your new body."
Sora sent Eve off and turned around to look at the data he collected from Eve's new body. Her physical body's power was off the charts and might be much greater than Almight's own strength. Aside from her physical strength, Sora gave Eve a test run of a new quirk.
The firebreath from the nomu.
It wasn't that strong, but Sora made sure to strengthen it and change it's qualities slightly. Unlike the way the creator of the nomu's gave the nomu's their quirks by implanting it in them, Sora was giving Eve the SEED to develop a specific quirk and the water, nutrients, to make it sprout.
This allows Eve to develop a firebreath Quirk specially made for her and allows her body to easily adapt to it. As long as Eve trains the quirk, it will quickly grow in strength.
At this point, Eve might be the strongest in the world.
Rubbing his chin, Sora chuckled as he thought about himself, still a long way from reaching that level. Is his nonexistent talent really affecting him so much?
Sora scratched the back of his neck and wondered about his blood. It's already been three months since the last time he had his blood checked.
Without wasting time, Sora grabbed a needle and extracted some of his blood. He looked at it under a microscope and furrowed his eyebrows.
What was it?
One of his blood cells is much lighter than the previous time he had checked by one shade. One wouldn't notice it even under a microscope, but Sora had such a good grasp over his eyesights strength and perception.
Over the three months, he has not done anything special. So what could have affected his blood? And what will it do once it was completely changed?
Great Body Forging Technique
Regeneration Quirk
These were the only two things that could have affected his body in these three months.
The Great Body Forging Technique strengthened and improved his body and senses. It may have an adverse affect on his blood, but that is still up to debate.
On the other hand, he had been training his Regeneration Quirk in various forms. Burning his body, crushing his bones, removing his limbs, removing his organs and consuming poison.
So far, the only thing that he hasn't done is remove his head or his heart. Something that would cause his instant death.
Now, with these two things clear, Sora could attempt to test himself and see what is the cause of his blood changing. Four months should be enough to do his experiment and discover the cause of his changing blood.
