About Little Teacher Te's journey on the Astral Express

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Teacher Xiao Te is an Angel

If memory serves correctly, I mean if, this wound should be from back when..... uh....

Landship... assassin... defense system... Doctor... little Amiya...

All the elements are there...

Although Tian An's memory was poor, she still remembered some impactful scenes. For example, that part of the storyline had left her depressed under the covers for over a month. Eventually, for reasons unknown—whether memory confusion or something else—she went back to school in a daze.

It seemed like after every deeply impressive event, she would experience a sense of memory confusion, and then, upon snapping back to reality, she would resume her school life like a machine.

It felt as if something inside her body was interfering with her.

This also caused her life to be in a constant state of muddleheadedness, unsure of what to do in the future or where to go.

She became a wallflower in life, unnoticed, unloved.

That's why she deeply admired Theresia's kindness, greatness, and the way she shone brightly before everyone in Babel. She also felt regret over Theresia's ending.

The land of Terra devours people, and white-haired characters always bear the brunt first.

In this series, it seems to be the pink-haired ones.

"I... don't know. When I woke up, I was already here," Tian An decided to conceal the truth, even though she roughly knew where this wound and this body came from. She also found it strange that the body had come back to life, yet there was no sign of its original owner appearing.

"I bet someone framed you from behind!" March 7th, having found a pair of glasses somewhere to put on, declared with a feigned deep expression. "Then, Miss Theresia.... do you remember anything that happened before you woke up? For example... where your home is, or any relatives and friends?"

Relatives and friends...

Tian An had no relatives or friends. Theresia... uh.... probably couldn't come here.... probably.

"My home... is on Rhodes Island," Tian An imitated Theresia's tone from the game... though it wasn't exactly imitation, as Tian An usually spoke like this anyway, just that no one was willing to listen.

"Rhodes Island? What an unfamiliar name... Sister Himeko, have you heard of it?" March 7th looked towards Himeko.

Himeko shook her head with some regret.

"Then... do you know about Earth?" The replies from both further confirmed her transmigration hypothesis. Since Terra doesn't exist here, what about Earth?

"The database has no record of that planet. Also, aren't you going to eat before chatting? I've been holding this tray for quite a while," Dan Heng interjected into the conversation, sounding resigned.

"Right, thank you for the reminder, Dan Heng. Miss Theresia, please eat first," Himeko took the tray from Dan Heng and handed some food to Tian An.

While the others talked, Tian An finally got a clear look at her own condition. This pure white dress was identical to the one in the game. Perhaps because things were too rushed yesterday, her shoes were still on her feet since the beginning. She also noticed that the Originium Crystals inherent to this body were still present in their original spots.

"Thank you, Sister Himeko," Tian An blurted out habitually, as she used to call her Sister Himeko when playing the game.

You can't possibly call her Auntie Himeko, unless you want to drink the coffee she personally brews.

"Eh, looks like Sister Himeko's charm is quite potent, she's already calling you 'Sister'," March 7th took a piece of bread from the tray, teasing as she nibbled.

"But of course, Little March. Your Sister Himeko still has her charms," Himeko replied with a smile.

"Where's your Uncle Yang? Has he eaten yet?" Himeko put down the tray and asked Dan Heng.

"He was researching some 'Hato Mech' last night and still hasn't gotten up," Dan Heng shrugged helplessly.

"Is that so? Let's save some for him then."

Lying in bed, listening to their conversation, Tian An felt an unexpected sense of reassurance rise within her. Could it be... this was the home she lived in three hundred years ago? (No.)

"So, right now, you don't remember how you got sealed in the ice?"

"That's right," Tian An nodded.

"Isn't that still amnesia?" March 7th's eyes were filled with curiosity. She really wanted to know if this young lady, whose entrance was so similar to her own, had any connection to her.

"Regardless, whatever past or mistakes you might have, now that you've come to the Astral Express, you can set them aside for the time being," Himeko said gently.

"Our next stop is... Herta Space Station. Before then, Miss Theresia, please travel with us for a while. I'll ask Dan Heng and March 7th to prepare a temporary bedroom for you."

Hearing Himeko's words, Tian An felt, for the first time, an ocean of kindness washing over her. Whether it was the influence of Teacher Xiao Te's body or some other reason, she found herself smiling, saying, "Thank you all."

"It's nothing," March 7th gave a wink, holding a camera in her left hand.

"Mm-hmm, really pretty. Miss Theresia has such a peaceful aura, makes you want to get closer," March 7th admired the photo she had just taken. Having a natural weakness for beautiful things, she had been stunned by Theresia's appearance the moment she boarded the train.

Meanwhile, Tian An was thinking: Herta Space Station.

No wonder I haven't seen a certain grey-haired Trailblazer. Turns out they haven't been 'born' yet... Speaking of which, don't transmigrators in web novels usually get a system? How come I don't have one?

Tian An's characteristic was her hyperactive inner thoughts; she could imagine anything and everything. But precisely because of this, she was sometimes prone to overthinking.

Can I become a member of the Trailblaze...?

Strange... is someone petting my head?

"Miss Theresia?" Himeko called out worriedly to Tian An. The girl before her had just seemed to zone out completely, sitting motionless on the bed with a vacant gaze.

"Ah... I'm fine, just thinking about some things."

"It's good that you're alright," Himeko removed her hand from Tian An's head.

Felt really nice (✓)

"If you remember anything, be sure to tell us. Maybe we can help."

"I'll go deliver breakfast to Uncle Yang first," Dan Heng said his farewells and left. The person before him showed no malice or reason for vigilance, so he naturally didn't need to keep monitoring her.

"Mm... I should get going too. I'll let Little March keep you company here," Himeko finished speaking and also left the room.

"Don't worry, Sister Himeko, leave it to me!" March 7th puffed out her chest confidently.

Then, she fixed her gaze on Tian An.

Why do I get the feeling she's going to eat me...

"Ahem... Please take care of me, Miss March 7th." Theresia executed a head tilt. Theresia executed a closed-eye smile.

March 7th took critical damage. March 7th is K.O.'d.

"Teacher Xiao Te... truly is an angel," Tian An praised internally.
