A World Jumper

Chapter 23: Destruction of Clu's tower

As the plan unfolded seamlessly, Clu was drawn out of his base by the info about Kevin Flynn's base, leaving his stronghold vulnerable to infiltration. They started to take out sentries and black guards, one after another.

As Alexander and Sam swiftly dispatch the Sentries and Black guards on the lower floors, their synchronized movements speak of years of practiced coordination. They quickly made their way to the top floor.

While below Rinzler like a digital bloodhound, he sensed his creator's presence. But he mistook Alexander and Sam's presence as users for Flynn.

He drops to one knee, his hand pressing against the cold, pulsating floor. With a mesmerizing display of neon light, intricate digital footprints begin to materialize beneath his touch, leading towards Clu Tower.

While at the moment Alexander and Sam exited the elevator, he was attacked by two Sentries. He hurled his disc at one, derezzing him instantly.

The other swung his disc at Alexander. But hr ducked in time and gripped the Sentry's legs. With a heave, he tossed the armored guard over the rail.

Three more Sentries appeared. Alexander's hand flew to his Quadblasters, a reflex honed through countless battles.

Sam yelled"Incoming!"

Alexander replied"Hold back, I got this."

He aimed, fingers tightening around the triggers. With a flick of his wrists, two fiery blasts erupted from the top barrels, searing through the air. The Sentries crumpled instantly, dissolving into showers of glowing pixels

Sam and Alexander have each other a box, while inch forward, boots whispering on the polished tiles, eyes scanning the sterile room.

They walked through the room scanning the location, Counselor Jarvis rose in front of him.

"Stop!" Jarvis shouted in his nasally voice. Sam raised his disc with threatening fury, and the cowardly program shrank backward.

Alexander muttered"I will take care of it."

Alexander steadies his grip on the Quadblaster, his fingers poised over the twin triggers with deadly precision. Two barrels glintining with dangerous gleam.

With a decisive click of his index finger, a blue arc of electricity erupts from the lower barrel, snapping towards Jarvis.

Jarvis screaming" No! You can't—"

The electricity slams into him, his form convulsing violently before dissolving into a shower of digital sparks. Silence descends, thick and heavy.

When elevator door opened. Sam and Alexander saw Rinzler was waiting for them and stepped out of the shadows, surprising Sam.

As Alexander addressed Rinzler with a cautious greeting, "It's great to meet you, Tron," a ripple of tension coursed through the air. The mere mention of his former identity sent shockwaves through Rinzler's circuits, triggering a sharp headache and a flurry of fragmented memories that threatened to overwhelm him.

With a visible struggle, Rinzler fought to regain his composure, pushing aside the onslaught of conflicting emotions as he focused on the task at hand.

Sensing the opportunity amidst the chaos, Alexander leaned in to whisper urgently to Sam, "Distract him for me. I have a plan to reclaim Tron."

Sam did not how, but he nodded in understanding, his gaze never leaving Rinzler

So, Sam faced Rinzler. dropping into a crouch, he reached behind him with his left hand while he raised his disc with his right. Rinzler drew his own disc and split it. With a quick flick of his arm, he fired off the first. The toss was aimed directly at Sam's head. Sam deflected the first throw with his own disc, but the move left his torso exposed. Rinzler smiled as he shot his second disc.

The razor-sharp edge was coming right for Sam! He was going to be cut in two! That's when Sam brought his left hand forward. It was holding another disc! Sam knocked aside Rinzler's second throw. Then he sent the other disc ricocheting off the ship's hull. The attack surprised the enforcer.

The attack caught the enforcer off guard, but his training kicked in just in time, allowing him to evade the danger as Alexander seized the opportunity and hurled a small cylindrical disk at Tron.

With lightning speed, the disk found its mark, embedding itself deep into Rinzler's chest. As Alexander activated it, a surge of energy coursed through Rinzler's circuits, causing him to stagger and kneel in pain. A flicker of blue amidst the red-orange circuitry signaled the beginning of their plan.

With a reassuring pat on Alexander's shoulder, Sam grinned. "It's working," he confirmed, his confidence unwavering.

Alexander nodded, his focus unwavering as he ensured Tron's return to full functionality. The once-red-orange circuitry that adorned Rinzler's body flickered and shimmered, gradually transitioning into a vibrant shade of blue, the iconic hue of Tron's identity.

Slowly, Rinzler rose once more, but now he stood as Tron, his true identity restored.

"Where is Flynn?" Tron demanded, his voice resolute and worried.

"We don't have time," Alexander replied urgently. "We have a revolution to finish."

With a swift motion, Alexander tossed Sam and Tron a bundle of explosives, their purpose clear. "Now start attaching them," he instructed, his tone leaving no room for hesitation.

As the trio worked quickly to wire the explosives to key areas within the Tower, a nearby digital display counted down the seconds before detonation, each moment bringing them closer to their goal.

With their task complete, Alexander, Tron, and Sam dashed to the window, grabbing bags of Wingchutes for their escape. With a leap of faith, they plunged into the open air, deploying the Wingchutes.

Slowly transforming the air around them into a canvas of controlled flight. The Wingchutes, with their eight wiry appendages and energy webs forming a hexagon pattern, provided stability and control as they glided through the digital sky.

Each of them manipulated their Wingchutes with precision, their descent controlled with the finesse. It was a sight to behold as they navigated the air currents, their movements synchronized in perfect harmony.

As they approached the ground, Sam's landing was heavier than anticipated, his descent punctuated by a thud as he touched down. Alexander's landing was smoother, his control evident as he gracefully touched the ground.

But it was Tron who landed with flawless precision, his descent executed with the grace and skill of a true master.

Soon devastating flash lit up the horizon. The blinding brightness made Sam, Tron and Alexander squint. Shock waves rippled through the ozone. The echoing boom rolled all the way across the blue-black water.

As they gawked at the city skyline. A piece of it was glowing red now. Like a roman candle, the Clu Tower burned hot and fast before the entire building beneath it collapsed.

Meanwhile, in the carbonblack outlands, Clu had arrived at Kevin's safe house. It had taken longer than anticipated and he was anxious. Not that he would admit that—ever. He moved onto the veranda and took in the view from Flynn's mountaintop. Then he strode back inside and scanned the living quarters.

"Cozy," Clu said. Right now, his Sentries were searching the compound, eager to find Kevin as quickly as possible. Clu continued to look around the area, and his gaze landed on the dining room table. He picked up an apple from the fruit bowl and wondered at its purpose. Such strange things in this place. What need did Kevin have for them? His thoughts were interrupted when Jarvis entered. The

While in Kevin's base Clu seeing the explosion. muttered"So Flynn is back in the city."
