A Superhero Harem? Their love makes me stronger (MHA, OPM, Naruto, OP)

Chapter 58: Fighting the orcs

Normally, at another gate, three superheroes entering wouldn't be enough. It needed much more than that to make any sort of impact.

But one would be wrong in this case. Things were different now…

These were S ranks.

What did that mean? These people were ones that can't be treated badly by a whole city in this world.

They were the sort of existence that when they had reached their peak, they can destroy a whole city if they wanted.

But that is in terms of regular country structure, and not relative to this world. Since it was a giant super-continent, and its 'Countries' were the named cities in here. Thus, these S ranks couldn't destroy these mega country-sized cities as expected.

That didn't diminish from their power level though, as they would be the equivalent of a nuclear bomb if they were compared.

Granted among the higher ranks the S ranks were the most abundant, but if compared to the number of A ranks that existed, the A ranks would dwarf them.

That was why three of such people entering the gate was already enough. And even Robin, a great supportive superhero in case of fighting multiple enemies, had joined.

Right now, the three heroes had just entered the gate through the fissure in the sky.

The expanding gate seemingly settled down after they did, and no longer appeared to be n the verge of releasing monsters.

The three took their fighting stances and got alert as they looked at their surroundings.

Kakashi was focusing on scouting the situation, but internally he was still worried about something.

His eyes darted quickly around the area, and he even activated his left eye briefly as he lowered his mask a bit.

He was holding his short sword in one hand and a kunai in the other.

'Something wrong can happen with this gate though,' Kakashi thought to himself as he concluded that they were safe for now and no enemies were in sight.

Kakashi was one of the few people who had two traits… except it was something that occurred naturedly.

The gate could prove to need SS ranks if the boss was higher ranked than them.

Such a case hadn't happened before, at least nothing that he was aware of, but it was possible.

But he was confident in his abilities to escape and he knew about Yamato too and her unique transformation power.

'She is even stronger than me in that state…' In fact, he wasn't aware that she had officially entered the s rank, without her transformation ability.

That was a recent thing and she hadn't yet changed her ranking legally.

What he was scared about was… Ren.

He was introduced as S rank by Yamato, and he could also detect that Ren was strong, and even gave him a threatening feeling.

'But, if things go south? Is he reliable?' he hadn't worked with him before.

Was he trustworthy, can he hold his ground? Is he fast in speed in case they had to retreat?

Such questions filled his mind as they were in a rather dangerous gate…

**********

"When you enter an irregular gate, it destabilizes a bit, and the monsters are randomly transported throughout the gate. That's why it's safe for now, but they will be coming very soon" Yamato explained to Ren in a soft whisper, keeping this just between them.

Right now, she didn't have her casual clothes and was fully clothed in a tight combat suit.

Her beloved trustworthy Kanabo was in her hands as usual.

Ren listened to her and nodded his head.

"I did read about that online, it's amazing seeing it now in person," He smiled as he replied.

Right now, they hadn't taken their fighting position as they hadn't discussed about their positions just yet.

It was known that the monsters would be teleported around, as such this gave plenty of time for them to prepare.

Yamato then called for Kakashi's attention and asked her fellow heroes.

"Should we hold position or advance?" Each of the options had its merits and bad points, as such she sought their help.

Kakashi took a thinking pose.

"You can sense their locations, right?" He asked of her. When she nodded he added.

"Then, I think the best option is to advance forward," He thought this was the best option.

The monsters in an irregular gate were different than in a normal gate.

They had all been driven by an instinctual impulse to exit the gate. As such their numbers were huge and were all gathering toward the gate's exit.

That way they wouldn't be swarmed with their huge numbers.

Robin also gave a nod from the side.

Right now, only she and Ren were wearing out-of-place clothes, but it didn't matter that much at any rate.

"It's better to advance, kill the scattered monsters now when they have been teleported, and then attack the boss when he is finally all that's left" she explained a bit more about the situation.

She was generally quick to analyze things and understand the situations.

Certainly, that was the correct move to make, if they stood guard near the gate, there was a huge chance that things could go wrong, and they would be swarmed with the monsters and end up dying amidst a horde of warrior orcs.

Yamato and Kakashi turned to look at Ren for his opinion.

Ren's response was to take a spear out of nowhere, and twirl it around his hands before he propped it on his shoulder.

'Space ability?' Kakashi briefly thought when he saw him bring the spear out of nowhere.

"I say we kill them before they can even reach the exit!" Ren said, making Yamato and Kakashi approve with nods of their own.

Yamato nodded.

She then turned to Ren.

"Which way?" She asked him.

She had seen him last time they were in a gate how his observation was better than hers.

Kakashi raised his brows a bit but didn't comment.

He wasn't a sensor, but he knew Yamato was a great one.

'Is this guy also a sensor?' He had space abilities, so it was possible.

Ren pointed forward in a direction and said.

"The closest group is from there, it has nine orcs, and all are A ranks," He told them.

Yamato didn't need to be told twice and she immediately started running in that direction.

Robin and Ren followed after her rapidly, leaving only Kakashi who took a second to think.

He then shook his head and decided to trust his long-time co-hero Yamato.

**********

Soon they had reached the group of orcs and could spot them in the distance.

The group spread out immediately, with only Yamato staying closer to Robin in case she needed protection if the monsters got closer.

*Roaaaaarr*

When they spotted them, the orcs raged and came running with their maces and axes swinging.

Ren took the lead and dodged an attack of an orc with its ax, and then Ren swung his spear, cutting it on the back of its knee before he lopped the whole thing off.

He then used its hand to jump on top of it, and let his body fall, before he plunged his spear into its neck.

*Twist*

He twisted his spear on its neck before he recovered it and jumped off the corpse.

His eyes locked on his next target like a hawk.

He kicked at the ground and accelerated toward it.

As he was running toward it, he used his wind ability to further speed up and when he was about to be hit by the mace of the orc, he thrusted with his spear that was coated in Haki. The attack moved the wind with it as it resulted in a massive shockwave that obliterated the wooden mace.

The result of his high-speed thrust left a gaping hole in the chest of the huge orc, as Ren went through the orc and skidded on the ground before he came to a stop on the other side.

Surprisingly, not one drop of blood was on his clothes.

*Fuah*

Ren took a deep breath.

His eyes darted around before he locked onto another orc.

**********

Meanwhile, the other guy who had gone to attack, Kakashi, was much the same as Ren.

His sword and kunai were covered in electricity, and he nimbly ran on the ground toward an orc.

*Roar*

The orc raised its shield and ax preparing to strike at him, its massive mouth with two sharp fangs growling furiously at him.

But Kakashi didn't get hit as he side-stepped the attack and released the kunai that was filled with electricity toward its right eye.

It penetrated deeply, and blood started leaking.

*Grahhh*

The monster wailed and started to trash around with its ax, each strike on the ground making huge vibrations as if an earthquake was happening.

Kakashi didn't care as he continued his attack, now getting in close range, and once he was near it, he swung his right hand still holding his short sword.

The attack landed on its knee and made it injured gravely as the orc once again was infuriated.

*Growl*

It trashed with its giant ax aimed at him and left gashes on the ground.

Kakashi dodged it all, but as he had jumped and was in the sky, the orc raised its ax and chopped at him

But all of a sudden, a wooden block appeared in his position, and Kakashi appeared behind its back sticking to a tree.

He kicked at the tree jumping at the monster, and by the time the orc turned to look at him, the giant mass of blue energy smashed to its face and grounded it into tiny pieces of meat, as its head exploded.

Kakashi landed on the ground and exhaled.

He looked at Ren who had taken down his third orc and was briefly left impressed.

'It seems that this guy is even better than I thought before…'

**********

Robin spouted her giant hands, and then for the first time had them also use the same techniques she could.

The giant arms were covered in Haki, and then they got entangled with the orcs.

'Die'

She crossed her hands and the six giant hands that had appeared twisted the head of an orc.

Three orcs were coming her way, so she used her ability again.

The giant hands appeared once again and caught the legs of the orcs before a few more hands appeared from their backs and pushed them to fall.

*Thud* *Thud*

The orcs fell heavily onto the ground and needed a bit of time to get back up.

'Where's Yamato?'

She then saw her as she had jumped at a monster orc who had also got too close.

*Hiya*

"Stupid orc, you think you're as strong as me?" Yamato released a warrior yell.

The monster had swung its bastard sword at her, but she used haki on her Kanabo, and using her impressive strength she clashed with his sword from above, and then after a brief contact and friction… Her Kanabo broke the sword into fragments before her strike continued downward and caved the head of the orc completely.

*Gruahh*

She didn't even need to transform now to deal such impressive damage.

She then landed on the ground and once again came near Robin to protect her.

She propped the Kanabo on her shoulder and looked at Ren and Kakashi.
